R.B.I. Baseball 15 Wiki

The gameplay here is true to the original games on NES. The biggest differences are the updated rosters and improved graphics. One thing that would be the icing on the cake would be the ability to play with legendary players (Dennis Eckersley with the sidearm on the A's; the Bash Brothers, '92 Blue Jays, Mark Grace, etc.). Atari RBI Baseball did this in the past where you could play as the team that won each division from the past 4 years or so, and you could trade with those teams to make somewhat of a dynasty roster. I understand that there are limitations because of how much memory this game takes up already, but such features are really all that is lacking from the current game.

This gets 5 stars not because it's perfect, but because, of the other baseball games I've played on iOS (and PC) it's by far the least frustrating. You can adjust the difficulty down substantially and then crank it up as you get better. I like the fact that making contact with the ball is not overly difficult, but still challenging enough to be fun. One day someone will make a truly great baseball game for iOS, but in the meantime, this one is pretty darn good. And it has the potential to be even better if they continue to tweak it. Nice!

I love this game very much!!!! Fun to play easy as well and love the controls...can it be improved?yes it can be... I would like to see different type of pitches. That would make the game experience much better...Also a multiplayer mode to play with other people!!!

I was debating whether to buy this one or the newest 2016. I read a lot of bad reviews on her 2016 including the file size. This is running on my iPad mini 2 and is running awesome! Takes up 2.2GB but I read 2016 is more. I have had no issues and can see through ball just fine. Get this one!!

This game is so much fun. I am a huge baseball fan, and if you are to this game is perfect. Graphics are great and it's just out together really well. I have played MLB Perfect Inning in the last and recently got tired of it. This game I have been playing since release and not slowed down at all. Great game love it!

Great app! Love the season mode. Would like to add variety in the pitching with more than fast ball and sinker. I really like this game though. It doesn't take too long to play and you can tell the developers geared the game to work quickly.

After playing for a bit, the game has grown on me. I find the simplicity of this classic is still fun to play. I also find though that there are not enough managing options and team customization options. I also was under the impression I could play with stars from the past, but found that not to be true. Overall the gameplay looks good. There is fairly fluid motion in the player movements. Some improvements could include the following: Starting pitchers can't get much further than the 6th inning. It's very difficult to steal or hit a triple. It's annoying that I can't adjust defense positioning or substitute defensively. And please...please change how the games are saved so that I can actually leave the game and play a different game without losing my progress on the one I saved. While needing some improvements, the game is fun and enjoyable overall.

Players doesn't have volume sometimes (so those trying to catch a foul territory fly ball can overlap) and has volume other times (Sao third baseman can block a runner from the bag for a second and get the force). The program for counting winning pitcher and saves is problematic. A reliever who came in with a large lead in 8th inning and never give up runs can be credited the win. Also, s reliever who came in with 5 runs can be credited the save. AI doesn't know how to tag up to score from sac flies. Qt bird strike in the dirt should be incorporated also I think, which is obviously missing now.

I love the game but needs to have it where you can trade players and also play with hall of fame players and its keep freezing when you play the all star game in season mode please updated to fix that asap then i would give it five stars

It's an okay overall game, but there are some things I don't like. On the base path, the runners do what I tell them to, but sometimes it goes past what I want them to. I went for a triple, got there safely, but the runner decided to go four. He was out, and I lost because of it. It has happened many times. Also, the AI in the field is terrible. It just watches balls go between the legs in the outfield, and takes terrible routes to keep the ball in the infield up the middle. Okay game, could be a lot better

Overall I would rate the game a 6 out of 10. Controls, rosters, and overall performance is good. I think the A.I. Needs some work. If your pitching and the batter hits the ball between the bases the 2nd baseman or SS runs backwards. When they need to go after the ball and run side to side. Even the out fields do this also it seems it does not register the ball until it hits the ground. So you better hope you get nothing but pop ups and strikes. It it works great if you batting you'll get on base almost every time.

Graphics are great, gameplay is good. Need to be able to update roster without having to restart a season! Hardest level is still not much of a challenge as you can easily win well over 100 games. Need to increased difficulty level to make gameplay a little more realistic. Overall, a good value… Just need to keep improving, allowing more control of gameplay, such as opponents' uniforms, and eliminating glitches.

I got my team 30-0 in the season and the game froze ,there is no way to go back just to the beginning of the of the game in which it freezes. I turned my device off turn it back on ,no help , still frozen so I uninstalled it reinstalled and started the season again this time I had my team 76-0 and guess what , yeah, it froze again . I guess that until they do an update that fixes the problem I won't be playing the game anymore. Frustrating.

I bought this game when it first came out hoping that I'd find the first good-quality MLB baseball game for my iPad. I've given it time since to receive updates and improve gameplay but it hasn't shown major improvement to me. The most disappointing glitch is after I go to another app and leave RBI 15 in the background of multitasking, the game either restarts , deleting my game data (regardless of if I saved or paused) or it actually saves - but when I return the computer recognizes me as the computer team instead of the team I was playing on as team 1. I really hope that either an update comes out FINALLY fixing all the issues or that RBI 16 has SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT otherwise, I want my money back AND I won't pay for another version of the same glitchy game!
