Someone wrote the pop ups were annoying, well truth be told they are. But I’ll take them! He forgot to mention the pop ups gives you FREE STUFF ! 1 thing and 1 thing only frustrates me. I’ve emailed them about it,but I was drinking and didn’t explain myself clearly. Here goes,when you fail to pass a level the screen goes immediately! To a screen to play on (10 gold bars ) to continue. While still in motion. And you inadvertently tap it ! Boom! You lose 10 bars! Even if you didn’t want to. Maybe put a are you sure? I’ve been playing this awesome game for at least 2 years and I’ve lost of tons of gold bars ! If you like Candy Crush ? You will love Charm King !

I love this game! The colors are bold, bright, and beautiful. The objectives are easy and fun to complete. I’m finding it easy to pass levels with all three stars, which is a very huge plus. The only aspect I’d like to see changed is I’d enjoy seeing an update where players are able to obtain more of the boosters cherries, and gold bars that can be helpful throughout the game. I immensely look forward to new updates for new levels and for players to be able to obtain more free boosters and gold bars by either watching videos or playing challenges or quests. Keep up the great work!

So this was an awesome game I loved playing it well all my accounts went crazy asking for passwords and login ID and no matter what I entered it said no file was found, so after deleting everything on all my devices I tried to reload this game it won't load keeps bringing up a screen saying storage is almost full it's all bull since I have paid iTunes and google and apple for extra storage which non of them have put into my accounts but have all deducted from my bank account and you can't reach anyone for help I am so over all the security and ad stuff on these so called smart devices anyway this game I great too bad I can't reload it.

I love the game but it becomes expensive to play. Unless you have the patience of Job, after becoming stuck on a level for days, you will be enticed to purchase coins or boosts to pass the level when you repeatedly get down to needing only one to two moves to beat the level. I have been playing this game for years and over that time I have spent hundreds of dollars as this scenario occurs over and over again. One to two medium skill levels will be followed by a hard level that is virtually impossible given the number of allotted moves. I understand that game developers need to be paid for their labor and creativity. I am a software developer myself so I support that. But knowing there is no such thing as truly random logic in games, I know that the levels are intentionally set to entice $s to be spent. Just seems like the developers could set a switch once a player has expended a large sum so they can win hard levels after a large number of failed tries, say 50, and let the now impoverished player that loves the game to keep moving through. With purchased games, there is a limit to the expenditures required of the player. Not so with “free” apps. I have forced myself to no longer pay to play this game.

Charm King now has funny little stories you can follow as you complete levels and earn scrolls. However, the actual match 3 game play is the same old nonsense as all the other match 3 games out there. You aren’t given nearly enough moves to complete the tasks you are given because you are expected to spend actual $$ to buy extra moves. Or you can play the same level over and over and over and over and over and over... until you get lucky. I have just about reached my tolerance limit for “pay to win” games masquerading as “free,” and I bypass a lot of games because of it. It’s also annoying to pick the game up at bedtime intending to play for 15 minutes...and immediately get rewarded with 8 hours of free lives. I have no use for 8 hours of free time at bedtime. But it starts immediately, so too bad.

This is an addicting game, but I'm at a level with the urns, and there are four urns. One urn needed one charm, one needed four. I made two matches in one play, with a total of nine charms, and because the charms were next to the urns, all of the charms were eaten. Why can't the levels in this game be programmed so that however many charms are needed for the urn to disappear, that's only how many charms are eaten? Seriously. Only five charms were needed to fill the urns, and they would have disappeared, but all nine charms were eaten. It's difficult to get the required amount of charms at this level to pass to the next level when just the required amount of charms are eaten by the urns, but when all the extra charms are eaten, you can be on the same level for months, if you don't spend hours a day playing this game.

I really like this game, I like the graphics, it’s fun to play it and I like to follow those stories you earn with the scrolls. BUT lately I’m having a problem after passing a level when I am offered to ‘double my stars’ by watching an ad and the ad does not work☹️. The only option then is to just move on without doubling your stars. Just today I lost 5 ✨ just because of that. I know it’s not much but I think we deserve them.. Also the same thing happens with a ‘free’ gold brick.. I click to watch the ad (and no, I don’t really enjoy ads), just to get a message “sorry, we ran out of ads”... seriously?!? Who runs out of ads in these days?!?!? So if these two thing can be fixed the game would be more enjoyable. Thank you!!

I’m on level 2489 and I’m tired of playing the same books over and over and over. Can u guys please make more books please. I love this game but I don’t play it very much now because of that. I also spend my $$$ on the game. U will be losing out on that too. Is there only 6 books? So please make more books. Also can u please fix the Treasure map, no matter which order I pick they are the exact same thing. The first one is the 8 hours the 2nd one is the gold Hershey kiss the 3rd one I think is cherries. That is also very Old. Can u please fix these problems or I will stop playing it and tell all my friends to do the same. U have NO problem taking our money but not fixing the stuff.

Last week I made the mistake of buying a little gold. Thought I was supporting the developers. Prior to this I slowly accumulated gold but I could watch ads (which also supports the developers) if I didn’t want to spend it. Some levels are tough, and it was great to have the option to watch ads for a few extra moves. I don’t remember anything saying that buying gold would remove the option to ever view ads again, but it did. The gold I purchased is used up, so I’m stuck on tough levels indefinitely. I’m not able to make progress or earn rewards. It feels like I’m being punished for supporting the game, or like they figure I’m a sucker who will keep throwing them money. I’m not, so when I finish exhausting my current resources I will probably delete it. It’s an unfortunate end for a cute game I would have easily rated 5 stars a week ago. Bad move. :(

I totally love this game when it works but I have had trouble with all kinds of stuff since the latest update. I have written customer service many times describing the issues I'm having, including screenshots of the game problem, but I have never received anything other than an auto response and never, a solution to the problem I’m having. I’ll probably keep trying to play because this game is addictive but full of bugs that never get dealt with and makes the game far less enjoyable. Update: I am finally throwing in the towel. It only gets worse. I have still not heard from customer service after 10 emails in 6 months and more Bonuses, etc., than I can count, not be awarded. It has taken all the fun out of an otherwise fun game. I have fought and fought to win a level to then not win anything. Good luck all.

...way you are tricked into spending your earned gold. When you are out of turns, there is a pop up that asks you if you want to buy 5 moves for 10 gold. That option would almost never be used, except they place the button right where you will inevitability hit it if you aren’t paying close attention to the moves you have left. Obviously this is a strategy to get people to buy gold, but it’s underhanded and kind of counterproductive. If I did want to spend money on this game, I wouldn’t do it when I could easily blow through it without meaning to. Why not just not give the option to earn gold? Are there really that many customers who are fine with continuing to pony up real cash just to be tricked out of it?

I love playing this game but it is rigged for you to spend large sums of money playing it. In order to go from one level to the next level you need gold coins which gives you five more moves. These gold coins cost money. The levels usually don’t give you enough moves to advance to the next level so in order to advance to the next level you have to use the gold coins to get extra moves. These gold coins can get expensive because you find yourself needing extra moves on most games. You can accumulate gold coins at a slow pace one gold coin at a time unless you win in a tournament then you can earn more than one gold coin but each game requires ten gold coins for five extra moves. The game doesn’t give you gold coins upfront. Many games gives you gold coins upfront to play the game and after you use them up you have to wait a period of time for them to be replenished not this game any gold coins you get you have to buy them so you are practically paying to play the game. Because the developers of this game is so greedy and don’t give replenishing gold coins I rate this game a one.

I play quite a few of this style. The premise is better than most, but same disappointment as other match games. The levels are almost impossible to win on first try very early in game. Yes, I get lots of hours of unlimited play. DEVELOPERS: We DON’T CARE about unlimited if we have to keep playing the same levels. Your goal, of course, is to force people to pay for the various hints. People who want to pay for games will. But when you are so obviously trying to push us to pay in order to retain interest, many will just delete. Like me. But those people you lost also likely didn’t leave a review. I recommend that you play far into game before you give them FB permission. They try to hook you early with 24 hours plus of unlimited but boredom from playing same level, then frustration, and finally anger will eventually creep in. Oh, and I WILL and HAVE payed quite a bit on games that deserved it. So haters can’t assume my bad review is because I expect free. I don’t. I just hate the tactics of a game so obviously trying to force me to pay.

I will give this game a 5 star rating when you update with more Tales! This is one of the funnest games I’ve ever played and love it! I’ve played through all the Tales, and now am “playing for nothing”, at least make the scrolls that I have earned able to be saved and accumulated!! If you’re thinking of downloading the game do it, it is a super fun game and unique with a cheesy, but cute story line, that you earn scrolls to continue the Tale. There are lots of events that you earn free play time, charms to help solve the puzzles etc. I’ve pretty much quit playing all my other games, because this one is so fun and the rewards/ extra games that they include are unique and fun. The problem is they don’t update enough and now I’ve gotten to the end. Please update with more Tales, and if not, than please update to be able to save and accumulate the scrolls I’ll earn while playing and waiting for new Tales.
