Update: they have improved how many times your island can be stolen from (kind of). It seems to be working better as far as being able to progress. I’m back to supporting! Update: this morning I cashed in My Island cash, had about $780M, I thought hmm I’ll come back in an hour and see if I have enough to finish my island (900M). NOPE. 300M stolen and there’s no protection from another steal so I’m sure I’ll have way less by tonight. But I won’t be around to see it. Uninstalling. Sad thing is that I did actually make purchases often (the people who make good games should be paid IMO). But if y’all won’t fix this then I’m out. I loved this game up until I reached the 100+ islands. There’s no way to progress. They allow people to steal your money all day long (some of us have to work!). There’s no protection after a steal, it’s just back to back. I started out with $350M, came home to $10M. I need 900+M to finish my island, but the only way to even earn a decent amount with spins is to use the 120x spin. I only get 19 spins an hour with 152 cap, if the bar is full that’s only one spin. So literally you wait hours for one spin, get maybe 175M max if you’re lucky. Then it’s stolen while you wait. Every now and then they throw you some extra spins but unless you make a purchase, you won’t progress. I used to make purchases but I won’t anymore. It’s ridiculous.

Love this game and it’s always the first game I play in the morning to make sure mid way through the day I have full spins to keep playing but the game isn’t the same like it used to be and sometimes Glitchy. Woke up one day to losing almost 17 billion coins?! Crazy don’t know where they went. The other day built over the 10 things on my island to get the top prize with a rare pack and only got a card pack with like 5 cards in it. I thought you would get each prize levels prizes but that surely didn’t happen. And what happened to the old times where it wasn’t so expensive to build your island. Crazy how it’s costed me 25 billion coins to finish off my island with about only 5 upgrades. Also when I have a lot of spins I’ll turn my multiplier up to get bigger prizes for stealing from cash king to fill my meter and won’t get anything but waste all my spins on it than turn it back down to like 10x because I have no spins left than of course I hit. All these things make me not really want to play sometimes

The reason I give it 5 is not because it’s the best game I’ve ever played. It’s simply because it’s cute, fun, and yes a bit challenging. I’d give it less if I had complaints. I can’t say I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t save ‘enough’ to get upgrades because people keep stealing. But with the ability to have pirates collect money for you on islands you’ve finished it seems like I’m still a long ways off from that frustration. If you’re looking for something kinda fun and simple and not a ton of skill needed, this is a great game. But as suggested by the developer, figure out what you’re saving up for and buy it the second you get enough or the money could get stolen. And it’s better to save your spins till you can spend them all at once. Because spending 10 likely won’t be enough at some point and you risk losing gold while waiting for more spins.

Don’t get me wrong I enjoy playing this game a good bit. My gf and I play it all the time together as a friendly competition. And when I have been busy a few days, I’m welcomed back with enough free spins to catch back up to her. However, this game has crashed and sent me to my home screen every single time I click on the card book to view my cards, attempt to watch a video to get more prizes, and from time to time when I do the quest things. It dose the same thing to her as well. She’s got a newer iPhone I’ve got an iPhone 6 so I know it’s not the phones I think. Now I’m not gonna go and blame the app directly for this issue because I do have another game that I also downloaded recently that crashes every time I watch a video ( that game requires it every couple of mins) but it dose put a damper in how much I play it. Over all though a great great game.

I on the hand love the pirate races , it gives you something more tangible to win and gives you spins and gold to be able to compete your treasure hunt . But I don’t like getting kicked off the game every time I touch my card book to trade cards or to see where I’m at on it . It is truly so frustrating to also get kicked off every time I try to collect my treasure chest in lower left hand corner when low on spins . It takes to long to reload then to find out I didn’t get the perks your game has to offer and try and try again to keep getting kicked off the game. I am a avid player on your game every day and by packages pretty often and really want to enjoy collecting my perks and bonuses without it kicking me off the game. I’ve been playing this game for years and I used to love it. Now it feels rigged to ensure you make minimal progress. While I do purchase, even then the challenges require so much coin and bombs to do anything. Why did you stop rewarding spins, bombs or coins for sinking ships in bombs mode? Why did you make it where in only round 1/3 of the trail, some ships take 40 bombs to destroy and I don’t mean the last stage? If you want people to play your game longer and give you more $$ and clicks, make it so we can play for more than five minutes before we’re out of spins, coins and bombs. Also, I just had $858 million coins stolen from me back-to-back. I only needed $500 mil to upgrade and had $300-something. These steals took place within one minute of each other and I can prove it with my “News” tab if you’d like a screenshot. I was spinning to be able to upgrade my island and was a spin away and it was taken. Next spin put me back over and as I’m desperately rushing to get to my island, again… stole enough to stop my upgrade. Then once more a moment later. Maybe setup a cool down so the same player isn’t hit three times in three minutes. Just some advice before I decide I’m done playing…

I agree with what most of the reviews are saying. That wheel with the parrot 48 hours and I still didn’t get to fill the parrot once. I think there is def some kind of glitch with the game. Also 5 spins a hour you can never sink a ship with the amount of bombs you need. Makes the game more frustrating Than fun. Now I can not update for some reason. I’m about ready to delete this game. Also the spins you lose when it says no internet connection, it shows the spins being put back when that happens but then when you have the connection back and you go to use the few spins you have left. BAM Pirate Kings takes them back.. even though you never did use them, it’s frustrating especially if you spend money and get ripped off. If you don’t use cash to play it is impossible to complete a lot of the activities. I used to love playing but now not so much any more. Then the ads on Facebook that 1000’s of people reply trying to win free spins and they award ONLY 4 people 100 spins.. why not reward everyone who takes the time to reply? I bet more people would complain less and enjoy a now frustrating game.

I usually enjoy playing the app but now PK crashes ALL the time, especially when trying to open the Trading Card Album. I have been unable to open that album in many weeks and have lost the option to use free spins from trading in many duplicate cards. Every time I touch the album, it tries to load and then crashes; the Adventure mission Map is also starting to crash on me and also now random crashes while playing the game. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still have same problems. I have 100mb Internet and have good bandwidth with very few devices using internet at any one time and my PK on tablet is only device using 5g network and all other apps are closed. Please fix glitches or provide better instructions to help us make it work better. If things don’t get better soon, I will delete because it is taking up a LOT of memory real estate.

This game was fun when I started, but now I can spin the wheel hundreds of times and not land on any special tiles. It’s impossible to win any of the tournaments lately because you only land on small amounts of money. I spin my 50 spins, and most of the time I don’t even make a million, let alone the 5 mill+ it costs to make my upgrades. Then your money is stolen since you can’t spend it and then you start the whole process again with your next set of spins. And now half of the special things are only if you buy something. Why would I buy more spins when the spins I have already result in nothing. Why would I spend money to get more nothing? I had fun when I started and I would frequently land on good tiles and would be able to upgrade and win tournaments. Just not fun anymore. My husband already quit playing and I don’t check it regularly like I used to, and will probably soon disregard it altogether.

Hey everyone. This is not supposed to be a true review. I actually just have no other way to attempt to contact game support. The website and email for Jelly Button links are broken, and the in-game support is not allowing me to send files or messages... The game is great and has improved over the last 2 years. The developers have added so many different events. But the continuous game bugs are an issue. And I just got a new phone last week (11 Pro) So the problem started after the Halloween update: the game is freezing only on chances to steal from other players. The 3 islands disappear or turn glowing white, and nothing loads. I’ve tried everything to fix it from my end, and it’s 100% the developer’s issue. It’s really a shame because I’m about to beat the Flips Adventure and Pirate Adventure, with only 1 more stage in each. But it seems I won’t be able to now that there are only 4 hours left. This bug has been happening for the last 2 days. Hopefully Jelly Button fixes it or gives some compensation, or they will probably lose a lot of player base.

Update: After getting a response from the developer I have decided to update my review from 3 stars to 2 because I feel like they did not fully understand my problem, as they gave me their suggested “tip.” They suggested that I plan ahead what I am going to spend my cash on and do so quickly. My problem is that I am not able to do so when I have to save up a big amount of gold to buy one of the expensive upgrades. It is hard to spend it quickly when I can’t afford to buy it, then when I get close, I end up losing most of it because someone steals almost all my gold from me as I’m sitting here spinning the wheel as fast as I can. Old: I enjoy the game for the most part, but the one thing I dislike the most is how you can get your gold stolen from you while you’re online spinning the wheel or attack/stealing from other players. I have no problem getting stolen from or attacked, but have it happening to me while I’m still online trying to save up my gold to buy the higher level upgrades? That’s not right

This is a great game on paper. And I love the concept. That said, the execution did not take the player into mind at all. The basic luck in this game is a scam. The wheel has 10 slots. This means I should get a certain tile an average 10 times per 100 spins. This is not the case at all. I understand that the game is made to give more low prizes, but it is too scaled for the low end. Out of ~125 spins, I got one of the tiles once, another one twice, and a different one 3 times. Unsurprisingly, those three tiles were the highest rewarding tiles. I got the lowest two tiles approximately 60% of the time instead of 20%, as probability would suggest. This makes the game infuriating to play, especially when it is super obvious the game is rigged. The in-app purchase are also way over priced. In-app purchases, in my opinion, should greatly increase the speed at which you can progress. The largest purchase you can make, which is $60, only buys all the things for maybe the 4th island. Paying the price for a full game on console or PC would be a much better idea than wasting it on a weeks worth of cash in this game. For more realistic prices, look at egg inc. They have a great in-app purchasing system, especially their piggy bank feature. They also have a highest price of $20. Even that seems high for a mobile game. My only recommendations would be to adjust the rates of high prizes and to decrease the cost of in-app purchases.

I have played this game since high school (I’m 24 now) and I’ve been loving the latest updates to win more, but this latest update has me ready to uninstall this app for good and switch over to coin master. Literally a few days ago I could buy my island items for 40 mill and that’s high but it’s ok because I’m pretty far into the game and they added bonus games to win a few spins or money here n there. Now I have to pay hundreds of millions just to upgrade each item??????? The current item that was 40mill a few days ago is now 300+mill to buy. Are you kidding me? This is REDICULOUS. It’s says “More Wins!!!” But I literally got 200mill and bought 1 item upgrade. Way more unfair than what it used to be. Yeah u upgraded the wheel & whatever that’s cool. But these prices for the islands are way too high especially if you are lowering the bonus spins in the mini games. It went from 10-50 bonus spins to 5-15. In NOW WAY IS THIS FAIR AT ALLLLLLL TO US LONG TIME PLAYERS!!! If there isn’t a new update that changes the prices of the island items lower again I will be uninstalling. I’m so sad.... this game is no longer fun or competitive.

I like playing the game and I don’t want to quit but they are robbing me horribly. I’ve spent so much real cash on this game that they owe me a real pirate ship. These creators ought to be ashamed. The map quest use to pay out anywhere from 25-50 spins when you blow up a ship or tower and would only take 2-10 bombs. Now IF you get spins it’s only 15 and takes approx 4-15 or 25 bombs! And the piñata...well if you’re not spinning 10 spins at a time then you WILL NOT fill the bubble meter. The piñata use to pay out decent but now HA! NOT! The great race is a complete and useless waste of time and money. Oh and you get a big fat 5 spins per hour! Ridiculous to say the least. The initial offers they give you are like 125 spins 50m and 3 shields for $1.99 then later as you expand you pay $3.99....the $4.99 $5.99....now my offers are $7.99 and $8.99!! 115 spins 6 cards and maybe 60M...or 125 spins 3 shields (but u lose them if u have shields already) and 70M...yea it costs about 74M to upgrade an item at the level I’m on. I can’t believe the cash I’ve spent on this game hoping for the better. These ppl are crooks!
