Honestly, you would think it’d be easy to find a simple math practice app, but there’s so many bad ones. This one is super easy to use. The interface gets out of the way so you can focus on the math itself. The buttons are easy to press, the numbers are displayed clearly, and the last update allows the numbers to be read out instead of shown; this is an excellent feature. It’s very likely that if you have to do mental math it’s because the numbers are given to you verbally as opposed to on paper, so this allows a whole additional degree of practice. The things i’m missing in this application, and I’m hoping will be added are: 1) More customization/difficulty with the numbers. For example i’d like to multiply 2 digit by 3 digit numbers and 3 digit by 3 digit numbers. 2) Decimal places! This is another thing I’d like more practice on. 3) Negative numbers. Similar to the other aspects, i think this just would be a nice addition. Sure some of these things exist in other apps, but those ones all just feel harder to use and are clunkier. This is by far the cleanest, simplest mental math app, so i’m willing to wait for more updates.

I give this app a Five star rating because it’s good for you and you can see your accuracy, that means how fast you go. It can push you to your limit and there’s even a time challenge that you can pick and that gives you like a 2 min timer!!! I think people should also try XtraMath first because it’s so fun and you can make Mr. B have a sad face on that he didn’t get the question before you did. Let’s get to the main point here though. This app is fun and educational. It can test your and your child’s knowledge and you can even select medium, easy, and hard math facts. I often will do multiplications on hard mode to practice. I am now using the voice method to practice. Soon I will practice division as well, and hopefully see some improvement. All in all this app is great and it’s very easy to use. I ask the developers please don’t try to change it to make it better. It’s already pretty good. If the developers add anything keep it separate from the basic multiplications. I would say adding a theory section with tips for a rapid multiplication tricks would be appreciated. Also a super hard mode with triple digit multiplication would be useful as well. I hope this message reaches the developers well. All in all, I am super thankful for this app, as it is fun and good for my cognition.

It’s fun with a new update where something speaks to you, In 2008 I did horrible on multiplication but now I’m much better if your kid is trying to learn multiplication let him do this app it is so fun I’ve finally got a 50 on hard subtraction, thanks mental math creators shout out to Nichols McNamra answer me back did you see that wassemoft guy I think he cheated somehow I’m not sure but in two digit afittion he got like 900 points (you get two points for EACH QUESTION) and he got 998 the timer is set to two minutes and you can’t change that but if your doing it for fun like me don’t cheat it’s not fun that way. I got 335 in multiplication one digit (shout out to anybody who can beat that!)

I love this app. I was horrible at multiplication and was running behind the class in it until I got the app. This game allows me to learn the maths facts and have fun at the same time!!! Now, after school I come home and play this for a few minutes and I already know like 5 math facts. I strongly recommend it to everyone, teachers and students. It is a great way to spend my free time. Playing and learning all at once. If there is anything that I would consider is that every time you beat your record then you get some points (depending on how you did) and when you get 100 points then you have officially passed that part.

It really helps with your easy addition , multiplication, and division . I’ve been using this the whole summer , every day , to get me prepared for middle school . If I don’t have any practice , I will not remember almost anything from my previous math classes. It needs some more color, when I work , I like to have at least a little color to convince me to do my work . I feel like this app can be for any age . Also , you can use it at anytime for free , instead of paying for something you can honestly do on paper . But , since you don’t have to pay and this app is free , and also convenient , it’s great !

This app tops all the other ones and I love practice this with my baby doll, I can tell she loves this app as much as I do! I’m ten years old and I love playing. It helps me stay focused on school even when we are on Spring break it helps to get a little boost before you go back to make sure you don’t forget anything! It helps when you are about to take the GMAS. I like practicing because it helps me a lot! I kinda miss a few the first time I play it, but the second round I’m more better! I love this app and recommend that you use it too!

I think this is a generally good app! You can test your math skills, and it can make you like math more! Take a break from your sudoku and play Mental Math! Even though there are a lot of ads, it’s a well-thought out app. I enjoy this (I’m a nerd :p ) I think if you want to practice your mental math skills that this is a good app for you! If you don’t want it, then why are you here reading this review and on this app on the App Store? I love this app! I’m in eighth grade but my math skills are still barely out of seventh grade. I used to be so nervous about having to solve math problems with big numbers, no matter the operation and would panic slightly when presented with a problem. But this app changed that! Just working on it for a half hour every day has improved my math skills. This app is a lot better than other math drill apps I’ve seen because you don’t have to pay money to drill larger numbers. This app is amazing. I totally recommend it!

I’ve always liked Mental Math but I like it even more with the new voice-based mode, now it’s 100% mental, no longer fumbling with the keyboard. I have a suggestion for the voice feedback: Full sentence confirmations like “64 is correct” are a bit distracting and take time away from the 2 minute timed challenge. How about replacing them with short correct/ wrong beeps? Even better, have just brief wrong beeps and simply continue to the next question on correct answers? Thank you for this great app!

Pretty good app to keep up on your math facts. I wish more students in class could do simple math in their heads. They just don’t seem to have it anymore. This could help. And for adults, you wouldn’t be happy to admit you couldn’t read, right? So why be satisfied saying “I can’t do math?” Math facts are really a development of memory more than anything and this is a pretty good way of doing it. I wish the developers would augment their settings for the mid level multiplication segment. Any two digit times any two digit is a little challenging so maybe programming the second multiplier to be 15 or less would be good? Then another level to practice any two digit number times two digits between 16 and 20. Just an idea. Thanks for creating this cool app!

Math isn’t my favorite subject lol being out of high school since 2010 lol well I’ve been digging through math things to help me out well I came across this app and let me tell you this has been a huge blessing for me. I’ve been studying other math apps, website and also got a tutor as well and I can say this app has help me in so many ways. Also I’ve been studying to take the ASVAB and I can say I’ve seen a lot of improvement since I’ve been studying these flash cards and etc so if math isn’t your favorite subject do what I do I’m making it my favorite subject. So whoever made this app thank you so so so much because this app has definitely helped me out. Again thank you

This helps every child learn math! The easy mode might be a little hard if you are struggling at first but in the end, you will get the hand of it! Ya see, education is good for you! Take sometime off toys, video games, screen time, and do some education! Math is one of the most important subjects! And I am super glad that there is a good app that people can use and that there are other things you can do besides video games and other useless things! This app is a nice one it helped me prepare for a test and I’ve been using it over the break from COVID19 and it’s been teaching me what I need to know i have used it about 15 min a day to keep up I used these a lot for me and it’s been showing significant growth between every times test I do on Friday's just to see how I’ve been doing at the end of every week and it’s been pretty good I can be lazy and prepare at the same time right here in my bed while eating food or driving somewhere in the cars it’s really fun and easy to used while isolated from COVID19
