Today, it has gone through many interations by the developers - Raketspel AB, with the latest current version being 4.1 which was officially released on 2019-01-23. As a testament to the app's popularity or lack thereof, it has gathered a total of 493 Reviews on the Apple App Store alone, with an average user rating of 4.7 out of a possible 5 stars.

How does it Work?

Do you have a way with words and enjoy puzzles? Try WordCollapse!

WordCollapse will test your puzzle skills and knowledge in everything from fruit to funny movie quotes. Just choose a theme and swipe away the words - the goal is to clear the board.

This may sound easy, but each time you remove one word the remaining letters will collapse into new words. Plan one or two steps ahead or it might collapse into a dead-end!

WordCollapse includes over 200 free puzzles and if you like the game there are more than 50 puzzle packs available as in-app purchases. Choose between "60s Nostalgia”, “Funny puns”, “Song quotes” and much, much more!

Not working anymore!

Clever, terrific game! 5 stars until now. Please fix. Not working. Is it not compatible with iOS 13.1.3? It says, “Welcome back.” Cat appears but game doesn’t load.

I’d love to enjoy it like these other reviewers BUT

As much as I like the little cat in the loading pic, he’s apparently stuck there forever so I never actually get to have all the fun that everyone’s having hahahahaha but for real mine never finishes loading, I don’t know why. Hope it will get fixed soon! Thanks

Connection error

Even after deleting & downloaded it again it still gives error. Cat in middle of screen with dangling star that has 10 on it.
