I agree with a majority of other players on how great a game this is. I've been playing almost 2 years and love it! I do have major concerns with gem traps and no weekly or even bi-weekly materials and items to earn! I also have a real problem with team lava placing an unknown person on my neighbor list that I can not delete or advance to unlock the goal items. I've busted my chops trying to get these items unlocked and team lava never returns with an answer of why the other player and why can't I unlock goal items that need keys!!!!! TEAM LAVA get your &$@?:($&@): together so we can continue to enjoy the best game you have! One other issue, please take the time to add an option for players who want to donate to their neighbors items they have in the individuals inventory. I would like to give fellow players some of my extra items, but I can't and that should be my items to do with as I please!

I first got Farm Story years and years ago, close to when it first came out. It was my favorite game! Through out the years I would go through phases where I would play it non stop or not play it at all. However, I always found myself going back to it because I just loved it so much. When I first found out that they stopped updating farm story I was so sad! And even though it’s been five years I still keep coming back to the App Store in hopes that they updated and started it up again. Just the other day I came on here to check and see and I was devastated to see that nothing had changed. Because Farm Story wasn’t available I downloaded Hay Day and honestly playing it just makes me miss Farm Story even more. Nothing can top it. Please reconsider updating and adding Farm Story back again.

Farm Story is a fine game. It's fun, educational, and very social. There are goals one must reach and some can be very challenging. It's all about what you want to do, where you're going... and how you plan to get there! It's a "world-wide" game where neighbors help each other grow and move along. I love playing it and have made friends with several of my neighbors off the game. Advertising for other games should be stopped. It's annoying. Flowers and crops purchased with gems should not be subject to harvesting. Decoration goods bought with gems ask if you're sure you want to sell that item? Add gem-purchased flowers and crops to that list. Allow them to be saved in a players inventory. I give Farm Story a 5-Star rating. Thanks for listening, Christine J. (C.MamaGrowIt)

I have enjoyed this game since December of '10. True, there haven't been a lot of updates recently, but I'm still mastering several crops. I have never paid cash for anything on my farm, but it would be nice if some of the cool objects could be "bought" with farm coins after they have been available for real purchase for a time, maybe a year. My only real complaint is that you have to have a certain amount of friends to reach certain goals, I don't like that. At one time I had 200 neighbors, nearly drove myself crazy visiting them every day. As some of them began to lag in their playing or visits to me I began to drop them. Like the game very much.

Really nice game first time ever I played a game or even entertained the idea. But did this during the hurricane that hit and Super Storm Sandy, Like it very much building-the crops- sharing and meeting some really nice on line neighbors. The only thing I don't like is sometimes it doesn't register money or the gems you earn I had this happen many times but you deal with it. I would rate it 4 stars. You can design your farm anyway you like it rearrange as much as you like. Some really nice surprises pop up in the game from time to time and there are bonus to. The only thing some of my neighbors. And myself talk about is the Native American stuff WE WISH there was more either to buy or work with or earn. Since there are a lot of NA. Playing WE would like more to go with what we have already. Thank you. You won't be disappointed. I became a true cyber farmer. :)

I first played farm story about a year and a half ago and I really liked it. I had to stop due to my not being able to water or visit my neighbors as much as I'd like to. I just recently was able to get back on "the farm". I have found that I still enjoy it. I just wish all the ads for other games to sign up on would stop popping up ever time I get on. I understand that you would like to advertise for games but there has to be a better way to do it. The hassle of having to push "try later" about five times is a big pain !!!! I makes me not want to be on "the farm" because of it. And I would also like for you all to make buying things be w/o gems . Make it coins instead. At least some of them. Other than that I enjoy the app. Good work!! I rate it on a scale of one to ten an eight. ( because of all of the pop up interruptions)

I totally agree with bovine eyes! I love this game! I've been playing it for 4 years!!! It's disappointing that there hasn't been any updates. They used to have new things every week now they barely have any at all. About 4 new crops to grow in the last year. I've almost mastered everything possible. I love love this game but now I'm finding I have nothing left for me to grow or buildings to buy. There hasn't been any new buildings to buy in at least a year. So I just don't understand what happened to the weekly updates???? Please add more new items to grow and buy!!! And don't make all of them cost jems! I hope to see some new things soon or I've run out of things to do on this game that I love playing so much!! Please update!!!

I love the game. I wish there were a button to give all my neighbors a gift at one time instead of having to tap each name. I am annoyed with the big sign and really want Stormie taken off. If you are going to keep so many pop ups that can cause one to accidentally lose gems, then put in a "do you really want to purchase this" or "an undo button". It would be cool if somehow real little people could walk around a little or have some animation. Finally - you guys are losing a lil creativity because there is much more time between the introduction of new items. It's exactly one week before Christmas and there is nothing from you guys yet. I love the game however I save up money and gems and then it stops at a certain level what do I do with all the stuff I saved up I don't like how you have to buy certain thing with gems when you never have enough why can't it be with just gems I am not going to buy them with my personal money then it's not a game I don't the bill board by my game get rid of it my farm look ugly then when your just starting out the hours to wait for crop your all full and neighbor don't want to come back so it takes forever to build money and gems let give more gem so our farms will look better and we can get more things you have to get money for land you have to get more money for items you have to get more money to spend on crop so it takes a lot can we make it easier to get more money and gems I do like the game 😃

I used to play this game ALL the time on my mom’s phone when I was little. Then when my parents bought me an iPod I downloaded it there and played every single day. When I got my first phone, I dowloaded this game and, again, played it every chance I got. I got a new phone about a year after my first one and downloaded this game but unfortunately I had to delete it because I didn’t have enough storage space. Now I upgraded my space about a year ago and recently had an encounter with all the story games and I couldn't help but search for this one only to find out that this app doesn't support IOS 11. I’m DYING to play this game again and I’m hoping the developers will update the game to support IOS 11 and future IOS updates so that I can finally play this game again.

Farm Story is a fun game allowing for creativity and a chance to make friends with your neighbors. It is still all of that, but disappointing when you earn or spend money on gems and Team Lava sets up a gem trap that takes a bulk of them away. Also, they have not been offering updates for many weeks and prior to then for several months the updates were nothing most players wanted. Team Lava seems to have lost their creativity and interest in Farm Story. For those of us at level 150, we would like the chance to increase our level. There are many at 150, it is time for Team Lava to advance the levels. Hopefully, after Team Lava returns to Farm Story after having taken the summer off, they will be back with some creativity, take a the gem traps away, and advance the levels.

I absolutely love this game-play it daily-my favorite between Pet Story and This. But I am giving it one star because they rarely if ever offer weekly updates. Pet Story still offers weekly updates and holiday themed items. Farm story only recently offered winter type items if we paid for them. Nothing has been offered as a weekly update all through this Christmas season. I have brought this to their attention many times, with no satisfaction. We did get a little at Thanksgiving but that was it-nothing at all at Halloween. I see other neighbors getting things and I do not know if these are things they have from previous years or they are new and there is something wrong with my game in particular. Or if they're not giving updates in the USA and are in other countries. This is just so disappointing and they keep telling me to check for updates on Facebook or update the game-nothing that works. There used to always be weekly updates-something I looked forward to. But, no longer. Both pet story and farm story are run by Team Lava and I do not understand how they can keep doing weekly updates for one while totally appearing to ignore their other game. I just keep getting more and more disgusted to the point I may soon stop playing the game. Please get this situation resolved one way or another. I will then change my rating to five stars, because I DO love this game SO much!

Its dec 2014 and I've written team lava till I'm blue in the face and all i get is one sentence remarks that avoid the issue. updates have stopped for a long time in their effort to squash their own game! Nothing for christmas in 2013 and now 2014. They used to have tons of great xmas items. This company has a game that is loved by people who are willing to spend real money and they stay on hoping things will change. And yet team lava continues to try and kill it by stopping all support hoping everyone will migrate to the inferior farm story 2. Fs2 does not provide for the social aspects fs1 does where we meet people from all over and the creativity by people in the designs they create with crops etc. fs2 is just an attempt to dazzle with motion and busy work thats mindless. What business person wants to destroy their own product even when it doesn't want to die...and then refuses to respond to the players on their motives. Its sad and frustrating. HEY TEAM LAVA SELL THE GAME TO A COMPANY THAT CARES SINCE WE GET IT...YOU DONT!!

I currently have an iPhone and I’ve been playing this game since it first came out! Its fun, creative and very entertaining... and even though there’s farm 2 and other games from the same chain, this one is my favorite and I can’t play it anymore on my iPhone or any Apple device that has the new updates!!! I don’t think it’s fair because we’ve invested time and money in this game 😑 so not only did we lost a good game, but also we spent money for nothing because we couldn’t even kept the game to at least play with what we had left, sad that our money, time and loyalty wasn’t worth the time of the developers to update the game to at least let us keep the app, I know that “hoping” to get farm story back and to get the new update for everyone is asking for too much and I don’t even know if any of the techs from storm8 even read this reviews anymore but we are a lot of people who wants this game back!♥️
