This is a really good game but there are things i would like to add

This game has me hooked i love the base building getting new heroes and making my units stronger but i feel like there is 2 things missing terminators and changing factions like becoming a blood angel or the black templars i would also really like it if terminators would in this game make them more durable than a primaris marine or vanguard marine but weaker than a dreadnought for the level 1 terminators equip them with a storm bolter or whatever you would like for the medium levels equip them with heavy flamers and for high levels assault cannons this is some features i would like to add but overall good game

The next greatest war hammer 40k game made, like all others

I love the new game, with the ultramarines and the cool new things and stuff. I love how there are also a bunch of ‘Heroes’ that I honestly never knew about. What stinks is that I’m mostly a Dark Angels guy and I would love to see a skin update where you can chose a free skin for your base and that is a faction, like Black Templars or Blood Ravens, and also could you add Terminators into the game? I think it would be so awesome! Anyways keep up the good work, may the emperor lay his eyes on us.

    This game surpasses my expectations

When I downloaded this game, I thought it was going to be another boring city builder. But the story mode, alliance function, and 40k setting have given me a game I can’t put down. I already have plans to conquer my server. I really do encourage people to try this game. 10/10. However, there are still things I want to see here. More units, more chapters, and more customization, such as unit skins and whatnot. I can’t wait to see what this game becomes.

One of my favorite base games I’ve played

I’m not a big fan of these type of games but so far this has been having my attention for couple of days and I’m really enjoying it for example I did t like clash of clans because it felt boring but this one is becoming one of my favorites and I only got 4 games that I play all the time this one is going to hit that list real quick good job guys

    Overall a good game

The game does a great job of bringing the spirit of 40k to life in a simple way . The voice acting and visuals are very true and well done . The game play is strait forward and easy to follow and the social aspect ( which is a big part of the game and required to fully actuate everything the game offers) is fun. I would recommend the game if only to experience what the game does with warhammer 40,000.

    More like 4 1/2 stars

So it’s get a 4 star review from me. I love most of what the game brings to the table. Stamina is a bit annoying but thankfully it’s not breaking for me, however the amount of time it takes to train troops is a bit much level 5 takes about 5 and a half hours for ten units. But my biggest nit pick per say is how long buildings take to upgrade, again I understand making the process of these types of games where a little micro transactions help boost the game. However at level 21 to 22 barge should not take 3 days and 11 hours to upgrade one level. Make it easier to upgrade without spending money on premium currency and this is a solid winner

Amazing game, but a little tedious

This game is really well done, the combat system is incredible, resources are readily available, and the campaign has been really fun so far. The only problem that I’ve run into though is that building an army and leveling hero’s takes forever. It would be really helpful if there was a button to start training units in all of your training camps, or if there was one menu for training any/all units you want. The hero’s also feel like they only get a small amount of XP every mission, and I found my self spending a long time doing the same mission repeatedly to catch one hero up to my older hero’s. Overall though, a really good game.

    Fun until…

Was a pretty fun game in the Warhammer universe until the pay-to-win reality rears it’s ugly head. Playing in a chill alliance with open invites and just doing our thing on the edge of the map. Ranked in the 20’s or so, no where near that personally and having a good time. Quit today after a top 5 player in the number one rank warps into the middle of our alliance and single handed you wipes out everyone with barely any damage to themselves. Absolutely no chance of challenging them even if our whole alliance fought at once. If you are looking for a competitive game that is strongly alliance driven and don’t mind dropping a pretty penny (I had spent about $50 up to this point and stood no chance) then you will probably enjoy this game, especially if you like seal clubbing people whom you can outspend. No longer worth my time though as the investment isn’t worth it anymore, fun while it lasted.

    It’s Alright

First, I want to say that the game looks nothing like the screenshots posted. It’s not nearly as polished looking as they show with the screenshots. That’s one star knocked off for false advertisement. Secondly, it is fun and the storyline for the PVE is not bad. Unfortunately, the game comes to a halt with a paywall that hurts most mobile games. Pay-to-win is the name of the game, especially when there is PVP involved. You can get away with not paying. Just prepared to be farmed by higher level players who have put some serious cash into the game. That’s another star off. Overall, it’s alright. The paywall is a bit annoying, and the game doesn’t look as nearly as good as it does in the screenshots. If I were the developers. I would take actual screenshots of what the game looks like.

Fun so far. Could use some visual tweaks.

Pretty fun, very similar to other games in this genre. They pulled a lot of aspects from other titles. For 40k fans it’s definitely better! I would like to see better visuals for upgrading buildings. Level 1 refinery looks exactly the same as a level 17 refinery, why is that? All of the buildings have a high max level and they will always look the same? Seems lazy to me. Another weak point so far is that events are really only meant for extreme pay to win… only top 100 players get anything of value. Maybe they could implement a grouping reward system instead of exact top 100. Let the whales get their top tier rewards, I would still like something decent for the time I put in.

    Doesn’t do warhammer justice

the gacha style hero system is appealing at first, but you’ll often spend most of your time tediously upgrading and managing your base for superfluous rewards. The expedition and battle system where you would use these heroes is ok, but you’re gated by (once again) base progression which is not interesting and too many button clicks in between menus and waiting just to get your force out to actually do anything, waiting long enough that I don’t care enough to play, and I gave this a chance for a week. Too much information on screen and none of it is useful. Deffinetly not what a warhammer fan wants to play, and it’s an imitation of other base management style war mobile games.

    Official Review

This can barely be considered a game. The instructions are so heavily spoon-fed to the player that the “gameplay” consists entirely of “click on the highlighted button so that the next highlighted button appears.” There is no strategy what so ever, simply the need to upgrade the same buildings over and over. And due to the above lack of actual player involvement - the game very quickly becomes a tap faster to win... but with the long wait times that come with a real-time mobile strategy game. The graphics are very nice and the voice acting is quite well done when it is present. But the gameplay is just too bad to rate this game higher than 2/5.

    Another uninspired WH40K offering

This game holds one’s hand for far too long and offers no excitement. It’s a snooze fest and I’m not even to the part where it makes me either pay real money or wait hours to progress. It is very similar to myriad other games and, aside from the art, there’s nothing unique Warhammer about it. The thing about Warhammer is that it’s a very broad setting and therefore can be adapted to almost any style of game. I’ve only read the Horus heresy games and I am not familiar with the characters here (even if they’re real and not made up generic Warhammer types). So, the story does not do anything for me and all that’s left is the boring gameplay.

    SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

The game was a lot of fun until the pay to play (or hacking as I call it) showed up. I have been playing for a couple of months, spent a couple hundred dollars building up. Was in an alliance and we were in the top 30 alliances. Last night one of the top 5 players came in and wiped out our entire alliance with hardly any damage to himself. Killed all of our troops that took months to build in one attack on each of us. They had maxed out heroes and troops, how is that possible when the server is new? I know the developers are going to come back with “you don’t have to spend money, just time and effort”. Well I put a LOT of time, effort, AND money into the game and the truth is unless you have thousands or can hack the game you will not be able to build a decent alliance or base when these maxed out players wipe out every player and alliance that start to buildup. I do appreciate the attack though because it opened my eyes and will no longer support this game, BEWARE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
