How does it Work?

Train to become the champion of the arena. In the age of chivalry, of the war of roses and of the reign of the castles and blades, knights reign supreme. As an aspiring hero, prove yourself in hectic medieval fights - for honor and glory.

Intense duels against other knights, paladins, heroes and champions will brutally test your skill. Adapt your strategy in real-time: block attacks with the right timing, attack from where the opponent is open, and know when to play hero and when to hold your blade.

Block, clash, parry, counter, evade or even throw them off with a kick: every skill is useful to take the advantage during the duel, and be the one to take the initiative. But watch that stamina gauge, lest you let yourself get tired and present an easy opening - mistakes will be harshly punished by your rivals and their dark souls.

Create your own arsenal of formidable weapons and mount your blades on the wall: swords, axes, maces - all wielded differently (HEMA fans: half-swording and mordhau not included… yet). Assemble the perfect armor to give you impenetrable defense, complete with the paired helmet and shield - each with unique aesthetics.

Each piece of equipment has its own stats and provides unique bonuses: breaking through defenses, poisoning, added damage… In these unforgiving one-on-one battles, any small advantage can give you the edge. As a knight on a quest for honor, you will have no vanguard, no paladins, no templar by your side: only your chivalry and your sword.

Experience a solo campaign with ruthless opponents, lords and kings, harsh battles and gorgeous arenas: from castle sieges to melee pits, to charred battlefields and arid deserts, only the brave and the hardy will raise their blade and deliver the final slash on a complex political story.

Instant duels and arena seasons make you clash directly into the battle, climbing the ladder to obtain the supreme title and get the best loot. Thrust yourself into unforgiving medieval warfare: get in the arena and find the opening to unleash an array of powerful blade skills and chains of attack using special techniques (still no mordhau).

And never forget: don’t try to show off, we let that to those horse mount and blade paladins who joust. Down here in the arena, iron, blood and skills are the difference between glory, and death.

    Amazing!

If there’s a “more right” way to do a medieval knight sim/FPF, I’m not sure what it is, but I’d like to see it. From what I’ve seen so far, it will likely come from these devs. Let me see if I can hit some highlights without spoilers. First off, the Castle achievement is well worth the grind and nowhere near unreasonable expectations. The requirements to open it are a great motivation to play in order to complete the quests, but you never feel like it is impossibly beyond your reach because you can track your progress until unlocked. Once you do unlock the castle, the game gets a tad easier, as one would assume life would be for a landed knight with perks that allow upgrading your equipment to rise or maintain your status. The additional surprise that comes with your hard won land is likely one of the most reasonably priced subscription for reward offers I’ve seen in a mobile app. TLDR: great game with incredible mechanics that make it the type of Knight game that if you haven’t played yet, you owe it to yourself to do so...if you give up before earning your own castle, you truly have no idea what you’re missing out on. Can’t wait to see more in the future!

    Good fighting game

At the core of this game is For Honor’s fighting system, the block and parry, but this game doesn’t copy. It has plenty of its own features, you can parry a parry, hell you and your opponent will sometimes parry each other till one of you runs out of stamina. The slow motion power attacks seam easy to counter but really aren’t, spamming attacks won’t work because there is a speed factor to your armor and weapons so you can’t throw super fast damaging attacks. The energy system isn’t that bad, better than most games. The game isn’t completely pay to win, your weapons may have more buffs and stats if you pay money but you will be given opponents with more experience if you do so. The treasure system is really cool, I like it very much. Only thing I would change about the game is that I would give each weapon a historically accurate name, instead of calling all long swords two handed swords I would give them appropriate names, long sword, claymore, broadsword etc.

    Words can’t describe this game!

First off, this game is incredible. I love the fighting mechanics and the battles are fair. I also love that you have to have skill in order to get good in this game and to progress. This game is very addicting and fun but hopefully soon you can add duo battles and add a friend mechanic so then we can play with them. Words can’t describe how much I love playing this game. Thank you very much for putting a game out like this and make sure to keep developing it because I see much potential in this game. Updated Version: I Still love playing this game. You guys are doing great. I just want to suggest a few things. One suggestion is new weapon classes. It would be really great if you could add more weapon classes, like for say the spear. Another suggestion is chat. It would be great if everyone could communicate in a global chat that way we could get to know one another. Thank you for listening to my review and for taking the time to look at my review.

Awesome game! But with one problem

The game is great. You have to fight other people or cpus in a sword duel. The controls are easy and my personal favorite part of battling is countering. You can counter and if your opponent counters your counter you can have a counter battle and it’s so fun when it happens. The special moves are great and effective, and chests are not hard to get. There is one problem though. After 2 days of starting this game whenever I load into the game it shows who made it but then instantly turns into an infinite black screen. The only way I know to fix it is to just go back to home and do something else for a few minutes and then go back in where it will load you like it should. The game is great overall and don’t give it a bad rating just because of the loading glitch or others.

    Awesome potential

I hardly ever write reviews but this game is really what I’m looking for. This game has a ton of potential but the campaign needs more options. Maybe join a tournament and tournaments should have different sizes from a four to a 16 and up brackets all with different size purse. Of course the bigger the tournament the bigger the prize. I know that’s already in duels but some sort of campaign would be cool to get some silver in the bag. If that’s not doable then something with a quest of some sort. Anything to build skill and silver. Also, the the castle needs work I feel like. It takes a couple days to unlock the castle and we don’t really get a lot. A few banners and decorations. Why not build off of our village? Maybe that happens later in the game?? It’d be cool to design our armor at least a certain color and emblem. If I have a bear on my shield I’d want it on my banner. I love the controls of the game. Some times the blocking is a big lagging and you have to tap the screen for the blocking to go where you want. That’s rare though. I do like the upgrades in armor. Once you play skilled players you can tell when someone is not skilled yet. I hope they continue to make this game bigger and better I think it could really grow.

    Anyone whos plays for honor

For anyone who play on pc,ps4&5 and xbox one and series X this game is like for honor the one difference is you can’t side step unless its the same way he swings but you can sidestep up in either direction. You can parry and attack back but be careful the bots can do it too. The same with the chip damage. The only thing that makes this different and I kinda hate are games with energy and gear stats (which I understand cause this a free to play game so I don’t mind the gear stats existing in the game) but energy based games usually kill it for me and waiting for chest to open. The reason why is because as soon I have to wait my attention goes to something else and then I forget about this game for week to then realize I have this game on my phone, which is sad because this game really reminds me of for honor and I would love to grind it out but it’s an energy game. I don’t mind the transaction because I know that this is a free to play it’s just any game that makes you make wait kills it for me. Amazing game thou would love to see this company grow.

    Good but on legal levels

I love this game a lot and I have been some what addicted. It has some cool stuff you can do mid fight like the dodge and spiecal moves and also my personal favorite the repost or chamber. It does have one little problem along with a somewhat legal problem. First, you can dodge early as to read your opponent, you must do it as soon as they attack, not sooner or later. The blocking system however, it looks a lot like the console and pc game For Honor, made by Ubisoft. I love this game on the same level as For Honor, but for me maybe nerf the sword and shield a bit. All I see people do is spam or dodge everything every time I find a sword and shield opponent. Maybe make it do a little less damage so that spamming is less powerful. Overall, I recommend this game. A good game if you can’t afford For Honor but still want a ranking system kind of like Mordhau, another knight fighting game for pc. For those who are joining in, good luck dear knight and find me on the battle field, Sir Hathaway.

    Games fun but also annoying

The game is fun to play, cool options to customize your character but it’s kinda pay to win. Which is annoying cause I bought a few things to get started and now I have to buy more to keep up with the players that always out rank me, and it makes it harder for me. I mess up once and take a lot of damage and then the other player messes up but it’s not really a big deal for them cause I do so little damage. It’s a challenge for me, which is alright but most of the time I don’t really win now because I’m always out ranked which isn’t fair. Why can’t I play against people that are lower then me? But I’m forced to always play against players that are higher then me in gear level now. Like there’s no middle ground so you can play with both higher and lower levels. And when I say lower I mean a few levels behind me. And my character is decent now but not decent enough to win a lot. Game kinda forces you to buy stuff.

Could be great with a few changes

The premise and fight mechanics of this game are really well done, and each battle feels rewarding. The PvP is setup fairly so that skill really does matter. Though I haven’t made it very fair in the campaign yet, it seems to be enjoyable as well. There are only a few qualms that I have with the game at this point. Firstly, you overall energy that allows you to play should be much higher, as it limits your play time quite a bit. For instance, you can only battle in 6 PvP battles before having to either wait, watch ads, or purchase energy to be able to fight again. Please increase this. Second, there should be an option to sell unwanted gear for silver so that you can upgrade items as you choose. For now, it seems like the only way to get silver is by opening chests or completing battles, which is hindered by the energy problem stated above. Lastly, the premium items in the shop are very pricey. The premium membership is $4.99 a WEEK??? That is honestly way too high a price. If it were more in the ballpark of $4.99 a month I believe more people would pay to have it. As it stands this is a fun game and if some of these troubling issues could be addressed then I could see it becoming a great game!

    Meh

okay so i like this game mainly cause the stuff looks cool and it pleases my goopy goblin gamer brain but it has some serious technical and game issues. First off the only glitch i’ve seen besides random fps lose is the infinite loading screen. Odds are if your game crashes you’re gonna have to uninstall and reinstall. thats about it on the technical side. On the game side is a much larger list however. First off: PARRIES. this can make or break the game for players. You’ll quickly realize that speed is the only stat that matters and if your enemies have also figured that out well thangood luck cause their gonna have a .2 second parry window. as a for honor player I never dodge however even the parry windows in this game make me cry. Second off: Energy. Whoever invented the energy system in mobile games should be subject to some lovecraftian nightmare monster for the rest of eterny. Anyway its in this game and its not good. 6 fights about every 2 hours. of course if you wanna watch an add or spend the fabled p r e m i u m c u r r e n c y you can get it back. My main issue with this is that the subsription you can buy does not remove energy limit which imo is disgusting and a very obvious sign of corporate greed. Finally, the league system. Its boring.

It’s good...but it has potential to be better

I am a medieval nut and I love this game. Slightly complex yet rewarding fighting controls and tactics. While rather limited, those who have played For Honor and Mordhau will have ease playing. It is rewarding beating some of the higher requirements for me personally, if you mess up or loose focus at any point you will be punished and I moderately raged but kept going and kept practicing and I got the first boss you encounter. Now with that being said, there is a reason for the 3 stars and that’s because of 3 major things for me, the lack of focus on the campaign( or lack thereof ) with your main way to level up is the online which I think is just fighting a bit because it’s pretty easy to cheese them, the weapons aren’t called by their historical names( I.e a glaive is called two handed axe ) but they named real bacsinets(?)(not sure how to spell) and the last is ads. When I first started playing, there was no ads between fights and then after a day of playing I got ads, like come on. It really is fun and enjoying with some struggle, I hope there is more added to this game in the future.

Not bad, but limited by pay 2 win mechanics.

The game itself is a lot of fun. Just wish it would let you play it... The game is essentially directional combat similar to for honor. Position weapon left, right, or up to block attacks etc. The controls are solid and the fights flow nicely. Problem is that like plenty of other freemium game, it has a very restrictive energy mechanic. You get like 20 energy which you burn through very quickly as each fight, campaign or pvp, costs 5 energy. So you can only play it a little bit, then are forced to wait OR buy more energy. Which is a shame, because the game IS good...just weighed down by manipulative micro transaction tactics that work by carefully forcing you to stop playing just as you start to feel ‘in the zone’. Which is the point of energy systems. There’s also the whole, wait to open loot boxes thing, meant to ‘encourage’ more spending of their premium currency...also, loot box progression...basically everything you don’t want to see, in a game you actually want to play. 3 stars, because is fun, but freemium so you can’t REALLY play very meaningfully for free.

    Limited to pay to win

I’ve went on an undefeated streak for quite a while, but the higher I progressed I’ve noticed that the people are typical double, or 2-3 attack moves while I seem to only have one, for each of my sets. Which is irritating when you’re trying to maintain your flawless record. It also seems that the dodge doesn’t necessarily work to the best of its controls because whenever it comes into play on the screen, it doesn’t actually dodge. The same goes for the shield bashing when you have them backed into an area while you’re both face to face. Don’t get me started on the campaign, that’s atrocious. After first defeating the initial four at PR (power rating) 40, you then go up against a 156, granted he’s easy but on the third campaign person they’re a 450+ like are you absolutely kidding me? What enjoyment does it bring if you’re constantly trying to protect your record but can’t actually enjoy a quest line. Could definitely be better than what it is and it’s a shame the developers are milking the game with little involvement

    Buttons Choose When to Work

I’ve been playing this game for a few weeks. Once I reached a certain league the Dodge button seems to choose when it wants to work. Also, some special attacks for whatever reason seem to give you absolutely no window to react, I’m not sure if this is a glitch or bug. In the same vein, when an opponent launches a special attack there have been too many times in which you put the correct direction to dodge in and no matter how many times you press dodge your character simply doesn’t move, it’s as if you just let it hit you! Similarly, there have been a few instances where the dodge does register during an opponent’s special attack and it shows the dodge animation but the hit still lands. Why is that?! I would just like for the Dodge button to work 100% of the time like it used to. Another glaring issue (game breaking bug) is that whenever you try to dodge after the opponent a deflects a hit back at you even if you’re still holding the correct direction to dodge the character goes in the opposite direction which in turn gives the opponent a free hit. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I can’t believe they’re charging $5 per WEEK with these kinds of bugs in the game! Absolutely ridiculous. For now I simply cannot recommend this game.
