I love this game series so much and I absolutely love the sequel but the defenders are just made by god themselves. They are so good it’s like I’m playing against prime Ramos and don’t even get me start with the goalkeeper. He’s the best gk I ever see in my life. He runs out of his box faster then neuer, reflexes better then yashin, kicking better then ederson, and diving better then Navas. Some levels are almost impossible it takes me days to complete. Also the teammates can be SO stupid some times, like why would you pass it to no one when you have a clear shot or when they do unnecessary moves and end up losing the ball. I love this game so much but PLEASE make the defenders worse and the teammates to do unnecessary moves.

I absolutely loved the first game to death. It literally defines a part of my childhood sitting bored in high school classes or a lame family function playing this game for hours. The only problem I ever had was the defenders were sent from the heavens. These guys will straight up slide 15-20 meters to get the ball and/or press your player like it’s the 90th minute in the World Cup Final. IT SOMEHOW GOT WORSE IN THE SECOND. Now don’t get me wrong this second game is good the graphics and overall feel is soooo much better. But i’m not even at level 50 and this game has made me want to throw my phone at a brick wall. Please for the life of me take the defenders off god-tier. I’ve said my peace, thank you.

I didn’t hear much about Score Hero 2 prior to its release, so I was going into this completely blind, and it’s safe to say I was pretty disappointed. Score Hero (the original) was a great game, but it had its flaws, the most well known one being the insane goalkeepers. There were a few other things that I felt kept the game from being truly perfect, and going into this, a sequel, I was hoping they would fix the things that held back the original. However, this was not the case, and it seems like what made this qualify as a sequel was its new graphics and a few licensed teams and leagues, which are very cool and add a lot to the game, but not enough to constitute it as a sequel. The game plays nearly identically, and still has the same flaws from the first game (players running out of bounds for no reason, players standing in offside positions for no reason, touches straight into an opposing player and losing possession, etc). Considering this is a sequel of the original and has the same exact gameplay, you’d think that the development of this game would go towards fixing the mechanics or adding new mechanics, but it seems to be a reskin of sorts, kind of like the other famous football game (F*IFA). Still a good game, if you liked the first game you’ll like this one, I personally was just hoping for something more. 3/5 stars

I loved the first game and was really excited to play the second, the graphics are much better and the game is much more smooth. I think there could be more done with player customization, like other people have said the defending is insane. I’m not saying we don’t like a challenge it’s just sometimes no matter how good the pass is the defender will still get the ball. To also include that the offense needs to improve as well, 50% of the time I’ll pass to my player and they will take the most unnecessary touch and loose the ball or the the defender will barley touch the ball and my player will still have it but I loose my turn because the defender touched it. The training scenarios were also a great idea, except I wish it was more realistic like on a real training ground. Why are we in full match gear training and why is there a full stadium watching us shoot. It would be cool to also do pre and post match interviews and things like that, just make the game more realistic.

I have been enjoying this game a lot just like the last one, but its so hard to level up this game. The watching an ad idea in the last game was great and should’ve been moved up to this game. It’s also ridiculous that the defenders and goalkeepers are freaking gods when you play against them. It’s ridiculous. Oh and the unnecessary moves your teammates do when you pass them ball is beyond annoying. Just think about, you have to score 3 goals in a game and you are on the last goal attempt but when you pass to someone the either lose the ball or dribble past the line which is ridiculous and you have to start over again. I enjoyed the last game but I’m not really enjoying it right now. All I could as for is the watching ad opportunity because I can’t do anything as I have to restart levels over and over again

this game is quite fun. i enjoy how you can trace the path that you want the ball to go, and its graphics are very nice too. however, the defenders are fantastic and the goalies are 100x better. this is a problem on its own but when combined with the fact that our own players are completely incompetent is really frustrating. also the fact that i have to score 4 goals in one level and when a teammate makes ONE mistake and loses the ball to the absolutely god defenders i have to restart. sometimes levels take days to complete. also the fact that it is pay to win is incredibly annoying. i hope you guys are reading this. this game has so so so much potential.

If you've played Score Hero you've seen everything this game offers. It's a lazy cash grab where the players are not interested in scoring, but one where they follow railroad tracks. If your players had better movement on and off the ball this game would be enjoyable, but it is a puzzle game where you have to find the perfect pass every time. I cannot count the number of times I have played a winger into space and they cut back into a defender and waste one of my lives. It is no coincidence that the game lacks consistency on the pitch and that you are meant to play perfect passes to reach 3 stars on 90% of levels. They want you to spend money on hearts, unlimited hours, packages, etc. Shameful game design.

well i’ve never written a review on a game before but this game has been very frustrating. now don’t get me wrong, this is a good game, but if you don’t pass it to the person they want you to, your player will lose the ball. no matter how good the pass is or how good the ball is, the opponents will win it. their defense is God level apparently and some levels you just have to get lucky. not to mention the keepers insane saves sometimes is ridiculous. otherwise it’s a great game. just very frustrating in the fact your player loses the ball by either running it into the defensive player or off the pitch. not to mention the fact you can’t watch ads for the bux anymore and you just have to pay.

So a little birdie told me that there was going to be a sequel to one of the few mobile games that were actually good. Yet I was more disappointed in this game than Liverpool’s title defense. The original Score Hero was pretty good. There were few flaws like the fact that your players had less of a brain than an infant. In this game it feels like the players have no brains at all. The Design: Is it just me or is that the way the characters look even worse than the first game. I know FTG aren’t the best in designing, but it feels like they put 3 extra layers of skin on the players. The Gameplay: Imagine all the flaws of the original Score Hero and dial it up to eleven. The goalkeepers are literal brick walls. If you get even lucky to get pass the goalie, there’s probably 2 more shots that you have to score. The defenders are basically on god-mode because it seems like their legs can go through your players and nick the ball away and if you manage to get a pass don’t worry, the defenders will just tackle the ball right away from your feet. YOU ALSO CANT WATCH ADS ON THIS GAME, YOU HAVE TO BUY THE IN-GAME CASH!! If I haven’t said enough there’s more chance of Spurs winning any major silverware than you are at finishing a game without pulling your hair at least once.

This game is a worse version of the original score hero. I lose all of my lives because the defenders are insane and always get the ball off of my players first touch. It doesn’t help that my players first touch is always in the direction of the defender nearest to them and not in the direction of the open space. I have lost more lives due to an error that the player not controlled by me made because of these garbage touches and decisions. I’ve noticed that your player does not attack the ball the same way the defender does. If there is any doubt as to whether your player can get it, then it is guaranteed he won’t. It also does not help that in order to score the ball per much needs to be in the top corner every time which makes it harder than it should be. I got the game because I wanted to redo the story but it is even worse than the original score hero. Until they fix what was mentioned in this review I do not recommend it.

I swear my team has mental disabilities. “Yeah turning into the defender sounds nice” or “I’ll just sit here and let the ball come to me while there’s a 6’9 mvp defender running towards it” and the best one “I have 30 yards of space and it’s a 1v1 vs the keeper I think I’ll shoot here instead of taking some space” and you might think that having the ability to shoot wherever you draw would help right? Well no because scoring on this goalie is less likely than the US qualifying for the World Cup. This goalie is the best to ever be in goal. You are literally shooting it at a brick wall. And maybe you somehow get past a level well that’s too bad because you will probably have no lives left and have to contemplate whether you’re going to tear your hair out or step on rusty nails. Both of those options sound like more fun than this game. Don’t go through the trouble of getting this game save yourself.

This game is so much worse than the first. 1. The keeper is always like Ter Stegen on crack cuz nothing goes in 2. Opposition players can sprint from one side to the other just so they can intercept a through ball, even when the level requires a through ball 3. My players’ first touches and decisions are so bad, like I would pass the ball and he’ll dribble it out like, why? 4. Why not have ad videos to gain life? 5. So I tried to cross a ball once and it deflected off a defender and it went in, but guess what, NO GOAL. Also I would make some passes and the defender’s godlike defensive skills would intercept or kick the ball away, BUT IT WOULD GO TO MY PLAYERS, yet it won’t count the ball that it’s mine and woo hoo I lost a life 6. I noticed that when payment is done for more life or whatever, you can actually finish the level you’re at no matter how many goals and passes and errors, with no problems at all, I guess screw consumer rights, right?

Ok a few criticisms… WHY ARE THE OTHER TEAMS SO BROKEN! I’ll be about 30 feet away and out of no where I see someone from the other team somehow run fast enough to block the ball from me. Not only that but their hit box are always active and too big. Literally if you have the ball and your character just slightly run past the other team player, you somehow lose the ball. And usually I am not a fan of mobile game ads but what’s the point of removing them. Money? Ignorance? The main point of a game is to keep a player to keep playing but you keep pushing people to pay to keep playing and that ain’t cool. And the timer to wait to play again is crazy. It says it’ll be done within 13 -20 minutes, you come back and it’s only still on the first heart. Look, I like the concept of the game but now they only made a sequel just to make money and not to let people have fun.

When I saw this on the App Store I was very excited to play it because it looked like it was going to be more efficient than the first one… But I stand corrected. 1. I will play my people perfect through balls and they just stand there instead of attacking it. the defenders on the other team however go to every single ball that I pass. 2. Even after I passed to my players and they get the ball they’ll be trying to do crazy moves around the opponent and just lose the ball under their feet and there’s nothing that I can do about it. This is horrible gameplay and if you want to put good defenders then make it so that you can dribble. 3. This is sort of 2A but let’s just call it 3, My players make me shoot from very far away!!!! For instance I’ll be dribbling up the field and then my player will just stop and I have to shoot it from basically the midfield line! 4. Sometimes my players aren’t smart at all they will pass when no pass is needed so if I pass the ball to a guy and he has a straight run to the goal with only one defender on him that is basically behind him he always makes me pass to someone which makes the game 10x harder thank you and the creators will probably never see this but, please take these suggestions if you ever make a third app
