    No complaints. Top notch!

I read a couple reviews. One positive one negative. But the rating was good, and the ads show lots of Thomas Kinkade which is an artist I really like so I thought I’d give it a try. For reference I play it on my iPad. I don’t think I’d recommend for a phone. I have done two paintings and I really enjoyed doing them. Here are some bullet points - - it won’t let you make a mistake. Which is really nice because sometimes moving around you have to touch a lot of spaces. - the moving around is super easy. You don’t need to use two fingers. The game recognizes a moving motion from a tapping to color motion. - when you finish a color it disappears from the line up and moves to the end with a check mark over it. - you can zoom way in and way out with the simple pinch and spread motion like most of us are use to. - when you finish, it shows you a sped up version of the order you colored it. Kinda fun. - there are so many subjects and paintings I think it’ll keep me busy a very long time. You can even upload your own photos I think. I haven’t got that far yet. —- Someone said something about too many ads.. I think I saw one after each and/or before each painting. But at least I was not interrupted in the middle. This is by far the nicest and well developed painting game. The small details of the pictures make it fun to color. Highly recommend!

    Really great app!

After getting addicted to painting by number on this app, I went ahead and paid for the premium version. I like not having to watch an ad in order to find that one tiny speck of color l need in order to finish my painting! I love how they only show you the paintings in black and white in the previews because it’s fun to see what it looks like when you’re done. I also like, compared to another painting app, that they use blue and white instead of gray and white to show you where to paint. It’s a lot easier to see against a black and white background. My only request would be to get more “real art”, like paintings by the old masters or just any known artists from centuries ago. Other than that, their paintings are more sophisticated and complex than some of the other apps.

One of my favorite games ever!!

I really love this game!! It accepts a one time purchase of only 10 bucks and then you can get all the premium features! But if you don’t want to pay you can still have access to all the pictures, it just takes longer to unlock the ones that require coins. But there are plenty that don’t require coins and it’s super fun!! This game is practically perfect in every way and I really love it!! The one thing that could make this game any better is if the color palette would automatically switch to the next color after you finish the color you’re on. Other than that the game is totally perfect! I would definitely recommend getting it as an app!

I love this app but I have an issue

I really am enjoying the beautiful and many pictures to paint and I use it daily but I have an issue. I like to look at a photo first, to see the color palette first helps me decide if I want to choose that picture at the time but the only 2 options are to either continue or quit. There is no option to tab backward to see the library again to choose another picture so then there is an ad again because you need to start the whole app all over again. Thats a bit ridiculous to not be able to at least peruse the pictures a bit -i.e. opening one to look at it a little closer. etc. This is why I am giving it 4 stars for a rating. Other than that I can deal with all the other ads because I think this is one of the very best coloring book apps due to its detailed photos and the easier not so detailed photos and the huge amount of colors available. Could you please include more pictures of the seashore and also more of children? thank you. Thank you for the opportunity to write this review.

I love this app and was happy with the many realistic looking paintings. I was addicted and would paint nearly every day two to four times a day. Some people have already complained about the adds, so I don’t need to add to that except it is the necessity of using the app for free. So why did I not give the app five stars? Suddenly, a couple of weeks ago, my app went blank! When I tried to open my app now, all I get is a blank white page! I suppose I could delete the app and try downloading it again, but then I assume I would completely loose the many pictures I had already colored! I don’t know if you fixed my app or if it fixed itself, but it is working again! I love coloring, but I live to choose my own colors. It would be great if you could occasionally throw in a picture with a color palette where we could choose what color we wish to use instead if having to go by the exact colors. I don’t know if that would be possible, but it would be so satisfying.

Excellent amount of potential, but needs some improvement

I love this app. It’s beautiful beyond words and being that I’m taking a lot of challenging classes in school, this is a good way for me to use my right side brain whenever I need to take a break. Another phenomenal quality is that I’ve never experienced any crashing, which is great! However, like all apps, there are plenty of flaws. Really the only grievance I have is ads. Reading other reviews, I can tell that I’m not the only one who notices this. Whenever I choose a picture to paint, I have to watch an ad. Whenever I finish a picture, I have to watch an ad. Whenever I want to work on another picture and exit the one I’m working on, I have to watch an ad. There really isn’t a need for this many ads. If this is improved, this app would no doubt be 5 stars.

    Good Game

This is a pretty good drawing game, nice details and always turns out pretty good. The number of ads seems to have gone down to a manageable level compared to some of the other reviews, but the hint button and the pop up for more hints are still in the way. I’ve only used a few hints on purpose, and maybe 20 on accident because the button was close to where I wanted to draw. The pop up covers the picture so you can’t see some of it, and comes in randomly so you accidentally tap on it because it came over where you were working. Also, the golden coins are a good idea, but I wish there was a way to get some without paying any money. Maybe get one for every X amount of pictures, or a random chance after every picture, or something. I hope this is helpful.

    Hints are an issue

I would have given this 5 stars because the pictures are beautiful, the look of oil paintings are true to oil painting styles and color. The reason I gave 4 stars is because while doing the pictures the hints are too close to the places you tap. I had 9 hints and now there are 3. I’m hardheaded and as a person who painted before my hands became damaged from RA. I refuse to use hints. I will look for a very long time before I will give in and use a hint. I have been tapping a number on the picture and it will jump to a spot that I was not tapping because the hint was so close to the spot I was working on. I don’t know if that is why the hints disappeared but I did not want a hint. Since I rarely use them it doesn’t matter but be careful as your hints may disappear, even if you do not wish use them.

    way too many ads

I love this app for the pictures. They’re beautiful and they look better than any of the color by number apps out there once done. The biggest problem is all the ads. Granted you can pay a one time payment of $9.99 and do away with all of them, but my problem is the frequency. It’s more than any other free app I’ve ever seen. I’m addition to the “watch an ad for hints” (which is actually nice because it gives you 5 hints instead of 1-2), you also have to watch an app when you start a picture, another app when you’re finished, and you better hope you don’t have to check the time, or that someone sends you a text message, or calls you, or your phone warns you that your battery is getting low, or even accidentally tap your phone in any way that you don’t even realize that takes you off the app even for a split second. If you do, you’re going to be stuck watching yet another ad. Oh and let’s not forget the ad under the color pallet to top it all off. It’s seriously worse than any other app whether coloring or otherwise. I’m not paying for ad free on principle because they’re basically trying to annoy the living heck out of you just to get you to fork over the $9.99. Seriously, considering it’s all stock pictures, there’s no reason for that many ads!

    Too many ADS

When I first started using this app I loved it! The paintings are beautiful and some are realistic. However, there are times when I literally had to get a magnifying glass so I could see what the number was in the space. I have very good vision and goes to tell you how small the space was. Now we fast forward to the present and all of a sudden the app has been invaded my the ad gooroos. I click on a picture to view it, 30 second ad, exit out of the pic, 30 second ad. I choose one to paint, 30 second ad, accidentally got out of the pic, 30 second ad. I do like the fact you can click the spot for hints, However it shouldn’t be on the actual pic because it never fails that it will pop up as I’m click on that number on the pic and then I end up watching the ads (which I’m 99% positive that it was done on purpose). You can’t listen to Pandora because it will keep doing ads when you change songs. What I’m trying to say is there are way to many ads!! I may end up deleting this for awhile.

Great app — Keeps trying to charge me $9.99

I switched to this app after trying Color Planet Color by Number. These pictures are beautiful and very realistic. As far as content and the many pictures available to choose from, I would rate it 5 stars. However, the more I’ve used it, I have an issue where the ad across the bottom stays on the option to pay $9.99 to remove ads and unlimited hints. Perhaps I’m accidentally touching the ad bar, but it keeps randomly popping up and wants to charge me $9.99 to remove ads. Fortunately my Apple ID needs my password to purchase, but it still continually interrupts any relaxation I have achieved with the app. Either remove the ad bar from showing the $9.99 to purchase, or put it in another area, perhaps at the top of the screen. As it is right now, I can only give it 3 stars. Also, $9.99 is a bit pricey to remove ads, compared to other apps. Maybe if the price was lower, more people would choose that option. Just a thought.

    Purchase screen

I have enjoyed this app for the past year and it was one of my favorites, however I’m stuck on a page wanting me to purchase for no ads and unlimited hints . I really don’t want to delete the app please fix this . I’ll happy give the app a better review once the error is fixed. UPDATE : I’m stuck on a page wanting me to purchase for no ads and unlimited hints. Please fix this I really don’t want to lose all of my pictures that I painted also my theme pictures. Well I deleted the app for the second time I lost everything I colored and all my points and theme pictures. If you want to have this app as a pay for app instead of ads app then do it don’t sucker people into enjoying your app and then slam them with a 9.99 and hold everything hostage. I’m going to try this one more time and hopefully the app won’t do this again.

I have had this app for a long time. I love the pictures. I like the fact that now you can watch adds to gain coins that will allow you to trade them in for a selection or pictures. The app has had other improvements as well. It has been my favorite. However, I do not spend money on these games. I’m on a fixed income and can’t afford it. That being said I have ordered things I need from the adds. Tonight my app is stuck on having to make a purchase. I can’t get it to go back to coloring. I tried to go to help on the app website but it just has one page and goes nowhere. There is no way to ask a question. I have no idea what’s wrong, but if it stays that way I will delete the app. I will not be forced into buying anything. I will see if I can get help with this. If I can I will give a better review.

    Unbelievable response

I gave this tame a 1 star review once before. I was forced to purchase the game to avoid the numerous ads, but then I had to change devices and now suddenly they want me to pay again. My purchase will not restore. I put this out there and got a response and I’m absolutely appalled by it. “We’ll take your concern into consideration and we may address it in the future”! Consideration??? MAY address it in the future??? I looked at your terms & conditions and you’ve strategically left out what you’ll do if someone needs to restore their purchases. You people are nothing more than greedy and it’s just plain wrong what you’re doing! Again, it’s WRONG, UNETHICAL, and YOU’RE STEALING! Outside of the fact that so many people have complained about the amount of ads that stop the game during a 5 minute period, making it the #1 complaint, this is a very close 2nd for amount of complaints. I won’t even open the game any longer. When I do, it’s only to see if you actually took into consideration and allowed me to restore the purchase I clearly already paid for. Just another stupid Chinese app developed by people who will never care about anyone but themselves. I’m deleting the app... it’s not worth it.
