Can we back up to read missed conversation?

I am loving this game so far! One question, though, is whether there is a way to back up if I miss part of the conversation.
Whether I'm reading the conversation, or whether the sound is on, sometimes I get interrupted and miss out on part of what's being said. If there isn't a way to back up at this time, do you think one may be added in the near future? Thanks for offering such an engaging game! Hope you can help me with this question.

I am being sent back to the beginning, what a frustrating situation. I love this game but I do not want to be sent backwards?

Don’t get stuck and don’t have to spend real money!!!!!

I enjoy this game because it doesn’t leave you hanging stuck on a level forever. If you don’t conquer a level after a while (and not too long) you get a winnable board without having to spend money to buy bonuses. You can really play this one without having to spend anything. Therefore I reward them by spending some occasionally lol. Needless to say this is a very important feature to me on any type of game I play! I enjoy strategic card games like this very much, figuring out which way to work through boards to best advantage. The story line is cute too, with a dog as a central character which I really like! A great game which I will keep playing because I don’t have to lay out money to succeed. A great design which has actually gotten some money out of me for some extras, while games that leave you stuck on levels for days and days on end with no way to win without spending money just get deleted.

      So pretty

I love this game. Some of the levels are pretty difficult, but the obvious thought that goes into the game makes it worth it. Small things like characters’ eyes moving and making facial expressions during dialogue are so appreciated! I also like that you can click on the screen where the stars appear to complete a task instead of having to go to the menu list to do so. And again, the design is really freaking pretty, I love how this game feels different from others and there is furniture and flooring/wallpaper that feels unique. so far my FAVORITE aspect has been the christmas event decorating, the christmas decorations are actually jawdropping, I didn’t expect that level of detail at all. I love the pastel colored christmas trees!! Please keep updating the game and continuing with other seasonal decorations—I’ll keep playing for sure! It’s my favorite level-based design game. Thank you!

      LOVE THE GAME

This is probably one of the few games I’m consistently playing through out my day. I love it. Redecorating and fixing a home are my favorite games and I’m glad it’s different then the typical candy krush version. Some of the task take a lot of stars. Plus some games seem impossible to win but that’s okay. Only huge issue I have is the acid drip. You give like 6 sec and there is no cards to match up with it then you’re in such a rush to try and get it you make mistakes skipping over cards that can be used. PLEASE Remove this. Come up with a different challenge. Which you guys probably don’t have time to read all these reviews but I still wanted to share my opinion and think this game is AWESOME. Oh and last opinion thanks for making the narrative more adult not so childish.

      Great game! but....

this game is amazing. five stars for sure. but whenever u finish a chapter and there aren’t any more yet, u are supposed to play in the Champion’s Cup. it’s a great idea and a good way to keep players after they finish up the chapters. but i wish u could choose wether or not to play in the Cup. i play the game every day but i don’t have the time to upgrade theirs and stuff like that. i wish i could just not play the cup. plz add this feature cuz i don’t wanna get demoted any more tiers. i just don’t have time to play this game as much as i need to level up in tiers! plz add this feature!

Great game but needs some work

I absolutely love this game, I’m playing it constantly throughout the day when I have free time. In the beginning levels it was a breeze and as the levels increase so does the difficulty. Now this is where my complaint comes in, I do not mind a challenge but there are points in this game that I honestly think they give decks that are unwinnable. When I start a game and get half way through my deck of cards before I can make a move, when I start a level and can tell straight away that I’m not gonna win a level. It’s not that just a challenge either, I think it may be a ploy to get you to use power ups in order to buy coins. But this frustrates me, every level offered should be winnable while still being challenging. I’m getting to the point of spending 15 lives on one level and as much as I love this game I’m beginning to debate keeping it on my phone.

      Love it, but...

Great game! I love the story, the actual voices, the fact that the furniture and accessories actually complement each other, and the graphics! It’s a tad glitchy with the voices; It started with just not being able to hear Marlowe, and now, it seems I can no longer hear anyone at all, except Ava. I agree with other reviewers that there should be a daily task or some easier way(s) to earn coins, that the hard/super hard levels should give extra stars, and that we should be rewarded for having leftover cards. You have to make money, too — we get it! But I’m sure that you’d have more people playing (and *then* maybe paying) if you facilitate playing the game a bit more, instead of the “Pay us! Pay us! Pay us!” approach... I’m just sayin’ - - read the room! There’s still a pandemic, and most of us are still spending more time on our devices than ever. Help us out!

      Fun game

I really do love playing this game but some levels your on forever and I’m way up there in the levels I’m just starting to do the pool house and I’ve gone from playing a hard level and then the next level is super hard which took me forever to beat and I had to use all my power cards I had because at first I had 4 cards left they were J Q K and the J was the electric one that zaps your cards and didn’t know what the 4th card was so I bought the 5 extra cards and not one card was one that I needed so that was a waste of 500 coins so I had 2 wild cards so I used one and I got the J Q and K card and the 4th card was another K so I had to use my 2nd wild card and now that I just beat the super hard level I’m now on a hard level which just isn’t right that you barely get any regular levels there all hard super hard and then hard again

Awesome game!! But needs slight changes

I absolutely love this game. Mystery stories are my fave and even getting to renovate is too! I’m glad I got to find a game that doesn’t deal with matching like candy crush. But the only thing(s) that NEEDS to change is that treasure chest. It’s not fair that the boosts/bonuses cost so much coins but then it’s hoarded into a treasure chest that we have to constantly pay for out of our own pocket. So that really needs to go.. There’s also no daily bonuses, we should at least get extra coinage or even a limited supply of lives for a few minutes everyday that we play. It gets depressing how quickly the lives are lost and you have to wait so long to fill back up. But other than that it’s an amazing game. Just hope these slight problems can change soon before I end up losing interest

Well made but typical cash grab

The game is good and unique take on house fix-up type games. The story is well written and the voice acting is good. However, I think the dev’s go above what I’ve seen in similar games in terms of micro-transactions. For instance, at least one of the events requires you to use extra cards, which requires coins. But you don’t receive enough coins through gameplay to accomplish this, and while I haven’t completed the event to confirm, I’d wager that you don’t get an equal turn for throwing away all those coins. Also, I feel many levels are blatantly unbeatable at times, further selling you on buying coins. That said, you can progress through the game without buying anything if you are patient Good game, but annoying pop-ups and overly aggressive micro-transaction tactics.

      Best plot, slow updates

This is the FIRST game i’ve ever caught up to in terms of updates. I don’t claim to know how long it takes or how difficult it is to program apps like this, but i could def do this faster at least in terms of story (i’ve done whole novel outlines and worldbuilds in days without outside interference) if i weren’t so sick I was going to hospital tomorrow. I just hope we can get this tea room by the time i am home. I L O V E reno games that aren’t match-3 even without a storyline, so this is literally my current fave. I’ve spent money in a lot of these games, including this one (because it’s great) so i’m begging devs to work as fast as they can. I want to create this tea room in a few days before i am incapable of using my phone but will hopefully come back to another update when i’m able.

      Changed over night

Last night I played with money earned during games, wild cards cost reasonable rates for where I was, increased slowly with the game. Today, wild cards jumped to 600, all winning go to the piggy bank and I have only five lives. Too bad. I thought this was going to be fun. After a week of emails with the team, the last email declared they have no control over which features each player gets. So, the fact that I prefer in game costs to lives is immaterial. I’m stuck with it. Since they said this was to learn which features customers enjoy, here is my response. I don’t like you change my game over night. I don’t like it went from a fun and relaxing game with reasonable in game rates to a game that charges half my in game money for a booster. I don’t like that it went from a game where I might consider spending some real money to a game where if I don’t pay to play I’m out of lives in three levels. Too bad. The story was fun. The randomness of who gets what features and the jump from 50 for a wild card to 600 leaves me cold.

      Conflicted

I honestly had no idea what to rate this because I have fun somewhat fun but irritated. The levels are so difficult! I’m on level 537 so clearly I’ve been playing a while but it takes up all my lives just to complete one level so I’m out of lives and have to stop playing in like, 5 minutes. If the levels were a little easier to complete and I could earn stars a little quicker that would be nice. The thing that annoys me more than ANYTHING about this game is that the tasks have nothing to do with decorating!! The task will be “go to town” “talk to cooper” “have tea” and at 2 sometimes 4 stars each!!! And maybe 2 decorating tasks sprinkled in there. I’m not playing this game for useless tasks, I want to decorate. If the levels weren’t so hard to complete and I could get stars faster it wouldn’t be as annoying.

      Card face changing!

All in all great game/ except one thing, you have deliberately made one section way too hard to finish and that is the one where the cards change faces as you play! That is entirely too much because your forcing people to purchase items in order to win, that’s not a good way to make the game! I don’t appreciate being forced to buy just for you to make money! I usually do buy items but not when I’m forced! I really shouldn’t have given you 4 stars but I did being nice. I’ve played the card face changing one about 10 times and won once, that is not right!!! Please fix and you will get more players to play, noticing you only have one other comment besides mine! Maybe no one else has complained but I tend to believe you don’t have many playing the game because of the card changing problem! Well I’ve said my say, fix please or I won’t continue to play this long.

A little slow, flow not so good.

I have been playing solitaire games off and on for years. This game is cute and i really want to like it but...not so fast. I find the game to be slow. Tri peaks is fast and fun. This game is slow. The power ups cost a lot and unlike many solitaire games this one does not have good flow. What i mean by that is at times it seems almost impossible to pass levels...not even the hard ones. You get 5 lives and (even on low levels) and you never get the cards you need to pass a level. The pace is slow, the cards never come, power ups cost way too much and although the game is cute, i hate when characters have to take phone calls, look under a bed etc. It adds to the slow pace to add to the slow cards. Not sure it’s worth it. In the end, it all adds up to money and how much you are willing to spend. That is my opinion.
