I love this game it’s got so much different content from regular mmo questing to a fun boss system that’s challenging but not too much. The combat is fun although you do feel a bit OP at times but it’s not nearly as bad as a lot of games on phones. I love the voice acting for quests really helps immersion. I love that there are different mini games like puzzles and the flappy bird style game and that you can have your own camp to build like a civilization style game. This game is honestly all around great. I have only one complaint and that’s gender lock. I absolutely hate gender locks on any MMORPG not because of any bravado I can be male or female characters but I hate not having the choice. You set up an amazing character creation system but then take and lock genders to classes. Mages are almost always my main and prefer male mage like a virtual extension of me, archer or assassin classes I like females better like the fighting class I would have chosen a female character for it and male for my mage. Anyway if that’s the only complaint then 5 stars I love this game though I do hope to see non gender lock classes in the future keep it up look forward to seeing how this game evolves.

To start the story is god-like, features and animations are too but there’s one downfall to this system. The PvP system. It’s practically broken. Anyone who is a archer (has healing abilities) or is a couple of power levels (CP) can automatically destroy you. Also there’s this broken system where you can lose yet face even stronger opponents, which honestly I have no clue what triggered this to happen. Losing = sometimes stronger opponents. Basically the PvP system is not based on skill but your level and CP (Combat Power). Yes, I know, people would say that just don’t play PvP but it’s fun to fight others which require skill not simple tapping skills. Other then that this game is lit. The black spirit is very funny and the game is only beginning. I would like to see the PvP system fixed or tweaked a little but other then that it’s a overall 4.7 rating. (Obviously can’t rate it in stars like that but whatever) Btw I suggest using the Archer or Valkyrie Valkyrie = Balanced in defense, offense and speed, good skills, amazing gear outfits, really good for the story too Archer = speed and damage, also god like PvP skills and cool skills.

I want to thank the developers for creating such a great mmorpg for mobile. I pre-registered but was expecting to be disappointed boy was I wrong! First off my witch is the most bad-assed character I have ever played! My first day playing was December 11 launch day. I had never played this game before and by the end of the day I had 2 pets, a horse and a camp of my own! Today is the 17th and I am level 41 and just put up a ranch in my camp to raise livestock. I love taking care of my workers and seeing my camp getting bigger and better along with my character! Black spirit mode is awesome, especially when you have a daily guild quest to kill 2000 monsters lol 😂. Go to sleep mode and let the black spirit grind lol 😆 I also like the knowledge component of the game. You get more rewards the more you learn about your environment. I also like the way the rewards for your camp are given for killing different bosses. This is basically what would have happened in the Middle Ages with a liege lord granting boons to his nobles for deeds they had done. I will warn you though this game is totally addictive!

Everything about the game is GREAT!!!! Sadly the witch either needs to be NERFED OR REMOVED... Witch is too easy to play with to be as powerful as she is speaking from both sides of the moon. I hate I have to pick the witch everytime I go to play in arena or against any player. Everyone has her and the Witch is a toxicity that renders literally every class useless unless your power greatly surpasses hers. I literally just jump around on giants bc they are too slow, you can literally just run from them n keep attacking and you'd win with witch. The game needs to focus on making it more on a players true skill and intuition then even making other characters stronger... its honestly dumb and ruins the fun of being anything you want. Able to fight anyone withought knowing your gonna lose the moment your down 200cp to a witch.... my giant and warrior are powerful as hell for their levels. I have got beaten by witches with way less cp or lower levels. I know how to use all characters well, trust. Make giants faster, warriors with a wayyy higher critical chance, And rangers a better sub.

If you are going into this game after playing other mobile mmorpgs then you will find that it is way better than all the others. The depth is fantastic and they've changed alot including the starter area to specifically focus mobile play. You can auto track to the quest locations and auto fight. For a mobile game this is good gameplay to me, because you are on the go have a few minutes of freetime or have to passively play and cant focus your full attention. You are able to do many things without your full attention which is good. They make it so you have to do just enough to keep it interesting and fun. I enjoy the story just enough to progress because its fun to get stronger, go to new places and get better gear and skills! Bottom line if you are expecting a PC port to mobile you are in the wrong place, this is a mobile game expect the gameplay to be for mobile. Love this game so far and I appreciate all the developer has done to make it free and offer all thats here without purchasing anything.

I’m still giving this game 5 stars, simply because I love playing it that much. I’m not sure if it’s because the game isn’t compatible with my phone, or if it’s because it’s such a large game, but it constantly crashes. At first, it would just crash when I tried to do missions, so I’d have to restart it a few times to make it work. Then, it would crash as soon as I loaded my character in the game, but eventually went back to crashing when I did missions, or pressed on certain things. I’m not sure if this is a reoccurring problem for everyone, or just for myself. I’m trying to look past this crashing problem, though, because the stunning graphics, and storyline make up for the little time I get to play before it crashes. I’ve only had this same problem with one other game, Honkai Impact 3rd, but it wouldn’t let me play at all. Other games similar to this have never had the same issue. I hope this can get fixed soon, but other than that, 100% recommended everyone to try it out!

I’ve played Black Desert Online for PC since launch, and I actually prefer this mobile version for several reasons. They’ve kept the amazing graphics, and the character customization is by far the best I’ve ever seen in any game, while cutting down on the unnecessarily complicated systems you find in the PC version. I love the ability to use Black Spirit AFK training, which is an improvement on the PC version, IMO. I also love that the enchantment system is improved, and even though it uses more stones, can be controlled up to 100% until PRI and up (need more Advice of Valks 50%). The only things I’d improve upon would be the ability to see other characters clearly when up close (so I could enjoy others artwork), increasing drop rate for worthy rewards in the Boss Rush (currently the only items dropping through lvl 50 of each boss are light stone shards and little black stones for low level gear enchantment), and expanding on the storyline and map to include all areas available in the PC version. Wonderful game!!

Was excited to see the game downloaded onto my phone but did not get my hopes up since I knew the games actual release date was on the 11th which was stated in plain sight for everyone to see before you hit that pre-order button. With that being said I know sometimes games give early access a few days before release so I was hoping that was the case but it was not which is no biggie because I understand alot of work goes into making games so I can wait a few days longer to play this beautiful looking mobile version plus I'd rather have them take their time instead of rush it. I'd rather have few bugs than many and everyone should know that all games aren't perfect and will always have some kind of bug and this is why be patient and just wait for the greatness of this soon to come game also that's what updates/patches are for 😎😂👍🏼. Will be updating my review once it is released to spread the good word of black desert mobile.

I’d give this 5 stars if 1; no unwarranted killing of mostly harmless animals... players should petition against this as for what it suggests. 2; the maps were seamless... no loading screen. 3; monsters and other targets where more spread out and tracking was a little more like hunting... or a more refined ecosystem mechanic. Other than that. WOW! I almost never review a game but have to say... the character creation!... fun and really flexible. One of the best ever! The art is second to none for mobile gaming experience... kudos! The combat (though I really wish it could be a lot more like shadow fight) is actually pretty tactical and more physicalized than pretty much any mmo I’ve played since elder scrolls. This game has an insane amount of depth. But I do wish the narrative for every character could be nonlinear... every story different being that you can play multiple characters... or if you could use a different character for the same objectives and not run a parallel adventure for every toon... then you’d have a masterpiece of a game. I think the gameplay, imagination of the creatures and the variety of gear creation/enhancements/and ai assists (dark spirit development/pets etc...) is better than that of full console featured fantasy type games... better than Warcraft!

This is literally my first review for any game at all so I will say that I hope this is something that will change in the future. To start off I really adore this game, I enjoy farming/grinding on any kind of game (and there’s a lot of that on this one) and I love those kind of games. For the upgrading system I haven’t seen anything that didn’t make sense or that bothered me but with that being said there is one thing. The totem upgrade is the only thing I have a problem with, you don’t have control over its success rate and if it fails then It will decrease its upgrade by 1 (if it is upgraded at all) now here’s the thing, I understand having it being a low chance because it will give you a solid amount of power when it does work, but all I’m saying is that there should be a rare item drop that allows even a little bit more success but make sure that that item drop truly is rare or else it would be a little to easy, I hope that this might be something in the future, even if it’s not I’m lovin the game but that’s all I really wanted to say.

Well first off id like to say that the game isnt bad. it has great character customization, a decent storyline, and lots of features that arent hard to learn. But my problem with the game is that instead of the usual handholding most games nowadays do, this game straight up picks you up and carries you through the experience, the most youd do to control your character is press a few buttons or just upgrade your gear. From just walking around to even combat is just controlled by the game and barely by yourself, like if you want to fight some mobs youd need to turn off the auto combat every time you get into a fight to at least have some control over your actions, the game is also really easy as you could just spam your special attacks and kill enemies, even the first “boss/miniboss” you fight in the game gets one shotted by you. All in all i just hope that the game at least gives an option to be able to toggle wether you want to control manually or have the game play for itself, but like i said earlier not in the way where i constantly need to turn off auto combat, itd be better to just turn it off completely until i turn it back on. Overall a fantastic game, character customization, graphics, PvP, entertaining storyline.. but its quickly becomes very unfulfilling. The game turns into a monotonous grind where nothing is challenging other than the PvP 3v3. And even that is dominated by people who spend lots of money weekly. Nothing is challenging in the game, world boss, ancient ruins, boss rushes ... everything is easily accomplished through auto combat. even the most recent addition POG hasn’t provided any challenge or fun. So before you know it, you’re in a non stop grind and start working on family cp, every once in awhile you fail at rng and rinse and repeat. They could add more pvp maps.. more pvp modes, like capture the flag or other...but instead they just add new gears every 2 weeks.. no new PLAYABLE content just more cp gains so you can farm a little bit more efficiently?? Honestly ramones 3v3 is quite fun, the classes and combat are very well developed and provide a really great PvP experience but it gets boring fast since it’s really the only thing keeping end game players playing. So why did i quit BDM? it got boring. also something further to add is that i was well geared ... 5 reds full PEN - cp close 9k.. and i still couldn’t compete with the 10-11k players.

This game is amazing in a lot of different ways, I’ve never enjoyed any other mobile game that has the word “auto” in it. I absolutely hated games with that feature. With that being said not having to grind and grind and grind like I did in black desert online is pretty dang nice. Now I understand this game isn’t completely pay to win but the fact that someone can pay $20 three times a week to get around 180 grand weapon stones is just a little absurd in my opinion. I’m not saying don’t allow that it’s how the company will make money and profit. Maybe i just have very wishful thinking here and it’s easier said than done but I think it would be awesome to have a server that was either completely free to play with no purchase able items (maybe cosmetics so they still make money) or even if you have to pay $10-$20 to access the server. I’m still having a lot of fun with this game but having people who aren’t skilled at video games but have a lot of expandable money ruling the game does kind of take the fun out of it. I’ve almost quit playing a few times but the gameplay keeps bringing me back and can be rather addicted.

I’ve played Black Desert mobile for a year, and what stood out to me was its amazing graphics and an ecstatic community that was super super friendly and close knit. The game keeps things interesting with updates every 2 weeks that include events that keep you wanting more. And the best feature of the game is the Ramoness gameplay along with its tournaments. All round, the game had a really good start and showed a lot of promise. Unfortunately it’s now completely pay to win. The players who don’t spend, arnt able to play on a competitive level with the spenders. Hence players arnt able to enjoy the competitive platform that the game offers to be playing enjoyably. For example, I, who kept online for 24/7 grinding and never missing a single even or task, for a YEAR, was getting killed before I can even use a single skill ability, against those that have money to spend. The game offers skill combos and other mechanics that make the game so enjoyable, but NOPE! still gonna die by one hit by the people on the top 100. It’s really sad, and honestly quite disappointing when you think about all that time and effort you put into that game. TLDR: I quit cuz the game was very pay to win.
