I absolutely love the graphics. It’s really a cute game, watching the characters do their actions is very funny, like uncle fester taking a bath or sleeping on his bed of nails. Kitty scratching the couch and Wednesday doing witch craft on her dolls or Lurch hanging himself with rope. It’s creepy in a fun way! For the current event they brought a character name Patunia that allows you to play a Match 3 game for up to 30 levels. I’m obsessed with this game and really hope they bring her character back for the additional add on Match 3 game that they didn’t have before. I tried looking up a similar Match 3 game in the app store and nothing compares to how fun it was. The game in general definitely gets a bit frustrating having to wait hours for characters to complete task but if that wasn’t the case, players would go through the levels way too quickly, so you definitely need patience to strategically have your characters complete their longer task over night or when you’re not going to log on for a while. This game is super fun and the graphics won’t disappoint!! BRING BACK PATUNIA AND MATCH 3 option 💜 I think that’s how you spell her name hahah. ✌🏼

I love this game. I am a huge fan of city-builders and this one is refreshing after some of the overly complex mega-cash-grabs the others have turned into. To the complainers: You have to complete quests to earn gems. Completing quests is THE WHOLE POINT. It took me three days to unlock Wednesday (100). I’ve been playing for two weeks now and I’ve nearly got enough gems for the greenhouse (250) and I haven’t paid a cent (clearly none of you have played The Simpsons). People who cry “boring too fast!” or “<this item> costs gems!” need another game; the pace of the gameplay is perfectly fine if you are used to crafting/decorating games. I’m giving it five stars because it deserves it. Although, as others have pointed out, beyond “let’s decorate!!” it does lack any sort of plot or storyline to engage the people who care about that sort of thing. That being said, I could care less about plot.

Hi there. I got this app when the Christmas storymode was on & ever since I’ve been hooked on it and putting time money and effort into. My boyfriend recently got our phones updated as in old phone out new phone in 📲 And for some odd reason the app won’t load completely through to continue the knight story game . I open it and it’ll stay on the pixowl & animca brands page, no loading just stuck there :( I’ve turned off my phone, deleted stuff maybe phone storage, everything you can think of. I hate to delete the app and have to start all over again 😞😞 we need help !! He sent an email to someone for answers before we do something. hopefully with this works & heat back. Thank you guys 👍🏼

This game is far better then some of the other games that are like this. Don’t really understand some of the bad reviews. I guess some people are just impatient and for those people the pace may be too slow. But the wait time for some actions seems reasonable to me. I don’t need instant gratification and if I do I can always opt to use real money. Besides the way the characters react to an assigned action are fun and unexpected (like IT when he is tasked to get matches and he has a bad hair day & the top of his head catches fire. Love it!) If I had some suggestions I would love to see more of that. Also, maybe family desires that ask for more different items not always the same ones. I enjoy the game up until it may take days and days to complete an action or goal required to move up levels. The goals of obtaining food items in the kitchen is difficult as you have no control of creating or receiving items from the stove/refrigerator. So you have to wait until it throws out something you need which may take days. It will give you things you don’t need which fill up your inventory with useless things. Early in the game it requires that you need to use gems to complete goals which aren’t as easy unless you spend your time waiting for a free video in the gem icon to pop up every few minutes to watch the video to get 1 gem. You do get gems completing goals but you can’t complete the goals without gems. See the problem? And it’s like you win 5 gems per goal but you need 250 gems to open a required area. So most of the time you aren’t achieving much. And Morticia is sometimes difficult to tap on due to her size for some reason and I have a large phone.

I preordered this and was very excited for the game. It’s a fun game but the expectations to purchase gems happens early in the game. At level 5, I had to spend 70 gems on a plant for Morticia. That seems doable except that you don’t come by gems easily in the game. You can always watch a video every 5 minutes or so to obtain 1 gem but even with that option, you would have to be pretty devoted to watching those videos. I wanted to keep playing but by level 5, the game progression was sluggish and didn’t seem worth the effort anymore. Other than that the house is fun to decorate and the characters’ dialogue is amusing. When I first saw the game advertised I had thought it was going to be like Homescapes (which could have been really cool using dynamite and poison to get rid of blocks) but instead it was like the Disneyland Park game. It’s fun for Addams’ fans but I feel like that was the only thing that kept me intrigued for as long as I was.

I was excited about this game because I have been playing Goosebumps since day 1. Love all of the character’s actions. Love the bombs, and crows. *Wish when you pulled up their profile, it automatically showed their action list, not their outfit. *Wish you could move and/or remove all items. (i.e. move crafting stations. Move/remove trees [you can’t see through them]). *It is very difficult to place things. I have big spaces that I can’t place anything. *I understand that you need to make money, but having two special rooms in the first 10 levels that cost 250 gems, is excessive. Wednesday was one thing when it’s easy to finish tasks and levels. I don’t recall you having large “dollar” characters in Goosebumps for quite a while. *Wish Morticia, and Cousin It were easier to see. Hope these suggestions aren’t too harsh. Love your games and want them to be successful.

Love love love the game but…. Takes entirely too long to complete actions( 6 hours +)! Which in turn makes leveling up take a really long time too. I am only on level 4. The first 3 levels were awesome and I was zooming through pretty quickly. Now I understand games get harder as you get further but this one went from 90 to 20 real quick! I thought maybe this is one of those games that you just have to purchase items to really enjoy the full experience so I spent about $50 and still didn’t get much further. It’s been a week and I’m still on level 4 and I have been playing constantly in all my spare time. With that being said I am a huge Addams family fan and it’s a game my daughter and I enjoy playing together (she’s a teen so not a lot of that lol) so I will continue to play until the fix some quirks or I just get too bored.

I was excited for this because I LOVE the Addams Family. After reading the reviews, and the developers responses, I got the game anyway. This is not what I could call a “sit down and spend a few hours with it” game, because oftentimes you’re stuck waiting 1-3 hours for something to finish before you can do anything if you don’t want to spend money. And everything else in the game is just an annoying ad to spend money on the app, or to do some other annoying action to get more resources (like share on Facebook- etc. I don’t use my FB, nor would I want to annoy my friends with ads for games just to get some gems). This is a classic money/PR grab that we’ve all blocked people on social media for doing to us. Shame, the graphics are great and the actual decor for the house is beautiful! I expected it to be like The Sims, but was wildly disappointed with how much you feel almost forced to buy something (whether with $ or sharing). I might have actually spent money to BUY this game if they charged for it, in order for it to be more like Sims. It isn’t a game if I can only open it every few hours, or have to watch 10 ads just to get enough gems to buy one thing I need.

I love The Addams Family. Almost everything about them. All except for this game. Almost immediately you are thrust into having to unlock a premium character. It cost 100 gems and it takes forever to earn gems. As you do your best to achieve goals, your inventory fills quickly so you are spending items you need to progress further just to make room for those items and feels like you’re starting over. Shortly after playing and unlocking a level 4 room, the next task for a character is to unlock ANOTHER room but it’s a premium room and item that cost THREE TIMES MORE than the last premium purchase! You just spent 100 gems! It’s obvious they want you to buy gems to progress faster. However, with such a slow paced game, I don’t want to spend any real money just to get stuck in the slow pace again. This could be so much better if things were a bit more achievable or they didn’t require you to have to purchase premium items that are too expensive just to move the basic story further. Maybe make items or extra task or skins exclusive only to premium purchases so that the free side is more enjoyable and move a bit faster.

Ive been excited to play this, since I love the Addams Family and it looks different from other games. But I thought there would be a real story involved where you needed to find items or unlock them. But basically you unlock a room and then buy furniture and place it. Plus instead of getting to unlock the whole family, it costs 100 rubies to unlock Wednesday from the start. Once the dining room was open, there was an option to play a dinner moment. Turned that on, which apparently takes 3 hours to complete and until that ends, I now have nothing to do. I barey started playing 5 minutes ago and already I’m bored. I love the characters and the mansion, but the gameplay has no real substance behind it. There’s no reason to place furniture other than when the characters ask and it gives you coins. To then buy more stuff and randomly place it. Nothing happens. Really hope it will be expanded to give some purpose other than fulfilling wishes and randomly buying and placing stuff.

I had high hopes for this game but by level four I could see that it’s just another money grabbing game that you can’t advance in without spending money on rubies. I haven’t deleted it yet but when I saw that you had to have 250 rubies to unlock the premium greenhouse and then a bunch more to buy a certain plant to complete a goal, I seriously thought about it. Thought I would give the developers time to reconsider this greedy aspect of the game. Something else that got me was one night I went to bed needing fiftyish xp to level up to level five and the next morning, after an update to the game, I needed over one hundred more. That was dirty. And yes that voice when you click on the characters is annoying. And it is somewhat boring because there is no real storyline or anything to accomplish. I imagine that I will be deleting it soon. Just like I deleted Goosebumps because it was a serious money grabber. The difference is that this time I had more sense than to pour a bunch of money into it.

When I first started playing this game I loved it, but unfortunately you can’t complete the quests to get XP and level up without spending hundreds of gems. Gems don’t come from reward chests and if you’re lucky you can watch a video to collect a free gem every few hours. Been saving up for Wednesday’s room (100 gems, which you need to further the game) only to hop on here and read the reviews saying you need to unlock the “better green house” as well for another 250. Loved the idea of decorating until I realized it will take you days/weeks (if you don’t want to spend your hard earned cash) to complete one task. Another downside; few quests to earn XP, it’s difficult to level up and get more quests, I’ve currently completed them all (so far) but unless I dish out 100 gems for Wednesday I’m stuck. This game had a lot of potential but it’s clear they want to squeeze out as much money as they can from The Addam’s Family™️.

I never leave feedback for silly games, however the support team and response time is horrible. I would have put zero stars if I could. I lost about 40 gems. I went to the desires tab and was scrolling I accidentally hit grant. I immediately hit the X to exit, but it took my gems anyway. This seems glitchy to me. The support team told me about the setting to have confirmations turned on. I didn’t even know that was an option. IMO that should be defaulted to have that turned on. So that also seem sketchy. It been about 3 weeks of talking back and forth with support. While it seems different people were responding but not reading previous chat content. At one point I had them say I am sorry for the inconvenience how many gems did you loose? I responded. Then the next person said: what can I help you with?? It basically went back and forth like this until I got sick of it. As of right now the game has been deleted. I will also never play a Pixowl game again. 😔
