    Good job

This game is super fun, addictive, and cool looking. You guys did a great job. Some minor complaints though starting with why are portraits even gems at all, chests the things that actual benefit gameplay are less than most of the portraits. Another one I have is, I have been getting kicked out from the game 100 times at most and I have only been playing for 6 days. Maybe not a minor complaint but can you add more things to do, because even when I have full energy I can’t even play because my armor and weapons aren’t good enough, trials are cool but you get barely any tries and when you use all the tries then you have to wait for hours maybe even days just to play it again, Arena is super fun but it suffers the same problem only three tries and you have to wait long for more I have school so usually this doesn’t matter much but on weekends is the true problem. Just want to make this clear I am not hating on this game I love this game I even believe it’s the best mobile game ever, I am just saying what I think should be changed hopefully you can fix this I’ll continue playing either way but this issues could make me enjoy more of my experience. Sorry this is so long just wanted to get my thoughts to you.

    Only one thing missing ...

I absolutely loved this game on PC years ago and when I saw it was coming for mobile I preordered immediately! The changes to the controls were perfect for mobile and everything is very clean and streamlined. Yes there is a bit of pay to win there but it isn’t hindering anything but the arena and even that can be overcome with proper skill builds and such. My ONLY real disappointment lies in the fact that the game is missing what made the PC game so much fun. The ability to build your own castles and raid other people was what the game was about. This is less “mighty quest for epic loot” and more mobile diablo with humor. Still giving a 5 star eating because the game is tons of fun and I’m holding out hope that they will add castle building in the near future. Unfortunately I think without that aspect it won’t be long before another game (actual diablo coming to mobile anyone?) comes along and outshines this concept. Keep up the good work guys and I’m hoping for the best!

    It’s a fun game

Game’s been out for two weeks now and I’ve been playing since the global release. In that time I’ve almost fully completed the normal mode campaign (just a few more levels to go!), can consistently win in the arena, have full elemental loadouts to participate in every trial with, and I’ve even gotten some set piece gear from combining lower level gear. The best part of it all? I haven’t paid a cent. While paying does give you an advantage, it’s in no way required if you want to enjoy the game. I’d argue that paying would only make the game less enjoyable; where’s the fun in a game that just gives you everything right from the start? It’s a grind, sure, but that’s the entire point and it’s what makes me love this game. My character gets stronger every day so I can tackle harder challenges which in turn let me tackle even harder challenges with the rewards I get.

The game is near flawless... BUT $$$

I think we can all agree this is one of the best mobile games to come out in a long time. The graphics, the loot, even the combat, everything feels exactly as it should. The levels are entertaining, goofy, and have a lot to offer. The progression feels natural and you always have a reason to come back. However, almost all of this is overshadowed by a $10/month subscription. Are you guys out of your minds? Charging a subscription for this? If you think a mobile game should cost $120 a year to play to secure all loot ON TOP of buying microtransactions, than that’s business model I can’t get behind. I don’t even want to invest time into the game because I will never cough that up. I think you should remove the subscription altogether, and focus on micros to make money or even the season pass you just dropped. I would happily put $10 into this game, and I think so many other would too, but just once not every month. That being said I already bought the season pass for $9. But now I just spent $9 on a game I can’t even play because I’m out of energy? Are you serious guys. I would have to pay for more energy which literally translates to pay for more game time? I’m a little mad.

Wonder full game! It just needs more attention

I love this game. The gameplay is awesome, looting is fun. Literally there are two things keeping me from 5 stars. First there are way too many hackers the top player for the keepers colosseum (at the time of writing this review) is a hacker. He has a 35k stat but the 2nd place guy has a 1.5m stat. That’s kind of ridiculous. With that said the other thing is that the game is way too pay to play. It’s actually kind of unbelievable especially after how fun the game is normally. There’s a battle pass.... it’s a mobile game. You don’t need a battle pass. I know that’s not going to change but it’s one thing making the game p2p. The loot system is bad. Looting higher than 1st tier gear isn’t even in part 5. It’s a really difficult to even play the game if you don’t have a high stamina cap. It’s just asking you to pay money. Which you shouldn’t have to. Grinding loot is what makes games fun. Even with a stamina cap it can still be fun. All in all. It’s a great game with great mechanics. I can spend hours on it and enjoy it. If anything can happen and if my review is read, then please just fix the hackers. 👍

    Great game but

I love this game even though I just got it. A few problems I think would be easy to fix as a app developer. I feel like the only reason people are good is because they have the pass which gives them really good armor. I understand it is supposed to be powerful because you spent $8 to get it but I feel like it could be lowered down for arena mode purposes. Another thing is that the charging boss is way to powerful I am stuck on him and can’t fight due to my hero power level. I’m saying that you should lower the prices of the chests in the shop giving me and other people a better chance against the higher up bosses. And one last little tiny bug. When I am on the home page I see notifications in the shop. I check everything in the shop and yet the red icon is still there. Eventually (after a mission) the red icon will disappear but being very ocd it gets on my nerves and irritates me. I don’t want special treatment but please fix that. Overall a great game keep up the good work Ubisoft 👍🏼please read my review and consider undergoing changes in the game

Great game - not as fun as it use to be - gear progression has been needed to a stand still.

I’ve been playing this game since the release and have really had a great time. So much so that I paid for a few things because I thought the game was worth it. A year later, I don’t quite feel that same way about the game. Ubisoft has nerfed progression so badly that I’ve been at a stand still for weeks. The first big nerf that killed my progress was when they revamped the rune system. It takes weeks to level a rune once and there are 15 levels per rune and 3 runes per piece of gear. Slow but you can still make progress. The reason I’m writing this review now is because of the last update. It massively nerfed all gear leveling. Ubisoft implemented a new ascension stone currency needed to level your gear and with this killed the game for me. It’s been weeks of grinding and I cannot get a single stone. This game is all about collecting gear and leveling it. I can collect gear as fast as I want but it just piles up with no way to ascend it. It feels a bit like going to a slot machine day after day and never getting a payout. The rune drops are purely based on RNG. Even a player as active as me cannot play enough to get a stone to drop. The only reason I still play the game is because of my guild. Dragonborn is a great community of people and keep we wanting to play the game. I hope they fix the game soon and make it fun again for end game players.

    Same complaints, different review

I should start off by saying that this is a fun game. My biggest issue is that it has been out for about a week and they are already putting content behind a pay wall. I understand that you can unlock all this stuff without a purchase, but getting notifications for completed quests that I cannot claim because I haven’t paid for the right just doesn’t seem logical. I’m sure the developers know that having unclaimed notifications on things is a pet peeve for many people and maybe that’s why they do it - to encourage spending. Either way, it is annoying and needs fixed. My next issue is that for a game that has the word LOOT in its title, there really isn’t much loot to be had (granted I am only level 17/30...maybe things change) unless you get it from chests. Another issue I have is the difficulty scale (or lack thereof). Say a quest requires 5,000 might. If I have 4,900 might and enter the castle, I will most likely be killed by one of the first 10 mobs. If I go back with 5,000 might - I kill everything in 1 hit. So basically, no skill is involved. I’ve given the game 3* and will stick with it in hopes that the devs will improve some things as more people complain. Like I said, it’s a fun game...just needs some tweaks.

    Interesting, but a bit unbalanced

I like the game. It's an interesting concept for a mobile game. But I want some free will during tutorials. Let me click things before doing the tutorial. Also, I don't really like the restraint of energy in video games. It would be better for you to not have energy. But if you're going to have energy in the game, please at least increase the Arena energy to something like 5 or 8. Also the Might recommendation jumps up by 15,000 at 4-10. That's a bit much. If you could lower that, that would be great. The Arena gap between players' trophies shouldn't be 700. I have 30 but I was pitted against three with 700+. Four stars. EDIT: I just opened this app again. Everything seemed the same. There's an event going on right now for Halloween. I go into the event quests. Before I go any further, do you really expect ANYBODY to beat 2-5 in less than 40 seconds? That's not possible without some set with a speed blessing (which doesn't exist.) Anyways, I go and try to do some of them. Here's something different: AN AD PLAYS AFTER EVERY LEVEL!! What?! When did Ubisoft of all things decide to become a Voodoo-type mobile game company? I loved this game and now I hate myself for having it on my phone! Stop this NOW.

Great Game, plagued by p2w and balance issues

This game is extremely well crafted. The way it’s set up gives a very satisfying feeling of progression and the controls are smooth and fun to use. This is definitely one of the better made rpg games but sadly it suffers from what so many of the others do, being unbalanced and heavily rewarding those who spend on it. Let me put it in perspective, after about 2 days of heavy grinding since pre orders were downloaded, I was at 40k power. Didn’t pay but did watch ads for double rewards. I never looked at chat and when I did, first thing I saw was someone at 1.5 million, and you know there are probably scores much more ridiculous than that. Goes to show that no matter how hard you grind, you’re always going to be multiple steps behind someone who even invests as little as 20 bucks. This wouldn’t even be a big problem if gear of similar rankings didn’t have such a large potential power discrepancy. There can be two different pieces of gear with a 5 star rank, but the power one holds can be ridiculous more than other gears of the same rank. It just makes little sense and can kill some of the motivation casuals have to continue playing.

Changed the review to two stars

The gameplay is fun and easy to get a hang of. I lowered the rating of my previous review because of how heavy the game focuses on making you purchase their diamonds. I understand that companies need to make money, but with how much is locked behind or just down right impossible to achieve without spending ridiculous amounts of money for a mobile game, it shows that they only made the game for some quick cash. The epic pass locks loads of rewards behind a paywall, all the while giving you insulting amounts of rewards for not having it and the most recent event has you opening up epic chests in an attempt to receive and exclusive epic hammer. The only problem is opening 20 epic chests without spending the money to do it is just unreasonable. Il keep playing because the game is fun, I don’t expect a big triple A gaming company to care about the few negative reviews, mainly just post up a vague response about how that’s not their intentions. Oh well, I guess this is what gaming has come to, developers pushing out anything they can to make millions because they know people will buy it, instead of pushing out something everyone can enjoy.

Bring back the old system! Please :(

I have played this game for around half of a year and have always enjoyed the game. I have raised the ranks and now co lead one of the the top 15 guilds in the game. I have made a lot of virtual friends and worked to accomplish and build great things in the game. This new update took away the charm of the game and made it a complicated mess. I never leave reviews but the game that I used to love and even spend money on periodically now seems like a ghost of its self. This new update so far seems terrible. It made a game which already had depth and required skill and planning into a something that is not enjoyable. I know Ubisoft worked hard on this update. I have watched on discord all of the announcements and all of care that went into this update. But this is not what we signed up for. I am almost a 4 million might player and now I am questioning if I will continue playing. Please consider modifying the game again in some way that will make the game feel like preupdate. I fear that we are going to lose players in our guild over this update. This was and can be again a FIVE STAR quality game.

    Great but deaf

This game is 1000% better in mobile form than it ever was on PC. It’s very fun, very engaging, and it can be as hands on or as automated as you like, however, for the love of God, make a button to report bugs! There are so many little bugs that no one can report! And please, in order to not make talents and skills the most boring system ever, do not cap the player level at 30. You can only have 3 maxed talents and skills, and doing so means you will only have 3 good skills and talents because maxing 3 of each uses all the books you can get because your level is capped at 30. There is also way too much EXP given out for achievements and levels to cap the player level at 30, you just end up collecting pocket change of less than 1000 gold and EXP you can no longer use, it makes the achievements pointless and annoying. And PLEASE add to the Epic Pass, there aren’t enough levels to account for the challenges! I loved doing the challenges and figuring out what they meant...until I maxed the pass...in 5 days. Now there is no point in doing anything else for it. Great game, but it really needs a lot of attention, and seeing the same bugs for weeks and having no way to communicate to the developer makes this game feel hollow, like they just put this out half completed for quick cash with no intention of finishing it. I love this game and I hope it gets the improvements it sorely needs so I can change the star count on this rating.

    Good game but...

I’ve been playing this game almost since it launched and have progressed quite a ways and made it through most of the campaign without having to spend any money. But then, season 4 rolled around and oh my god the game got so buggy, it was fine for the first couple weeks but then it stopped letting me do any of the events or the guild quest. I would enter the event and then run up to the mobs but then the game would crash, at first I thought it was just something about my storage so I deleted some apps and tried again. But, it was hopeless, I could hardly do anything at this point and knew for certain that it was an issue of the game because I have a couple other games that are similar in storage space and graphics and run just fine. Now I thought that I would just have to live without any events and this wasn’t so bad because I could still do arena and redo some of the campaign levels, but then finally about a week ago, the game completely stopped working. I can’t open it it simply gets towards the point where it shows my Apple ID login and then crashes instantly. This is frustrating on many levels because of the fact that the game is so fun to play and well designed, it’s one of the better RPG games I’ve ever played but it needs to fix all its issues before I can leave any kind of positive review.
