    Addictive

I really enjoy this game & it really helps you to pay attention to detail. It could be the smallest thing- a shadow, hair or half of a line & you won’t see it until the last moment. What upsets me is don’t let me think I’m competing against people but it’s a computer. I actually let a game sit without finding a match for 15 minutes & my opponent just sat there too. I eventually used a light bulb to win but is it really a win when I’m playing against myself? And are there really that many people playing the same time I am that we all finish the tournaments at the same time? Please don’t patronize me. It’s too addictive for me to say I’m not playing anymore. For now I just want to see if it’s possible to make it to top 5 on leader board-

    Addictive

I don’t like many games but quickly got addicted to this one. I’ve read some of the other reviews about thinking there are fake players- I don’t agree. I sometimes wait in tournaments. Sometimes I get stuck and other times I fly through much quicker than other players. Also, you don’t have to buy coins or lightbulbs, you can earn them. I’ve been playing a few weeks and haven’t spent any money. One thing that annoyed me a little was it didn’t really have instructions and at first I didn’t know there was a zoom option. Also, I’ve had some instances where the game lagged and I lost because of it. Also, I wish I could add my picture without linking to Facebook. Overall good game.

    Absolutely the worst customer service!

I was obsessed with this game! One of the best! Until I updated the new version on May 23 and lost my profile and all my accomplishments. It was supposed to be backed up by Facebook, but it’s not working. I spent quite some money on this game and was already on level 200. I emailed their customer service several times and the lack of response was extremely disappointing! Not a word from them other than asking me for my account id one time. Then after no more responses I emailed them again a couple more times last week and still no answer! Unacceptable customer service/support.

    Great game!

Finally found a game that is challenging and fun. What I like about this game is the competition and it progresses from easy to very difficult. The only problem is at times the differences are so slight that I think it is unfair. Especially when I use one of my advantages to find it I still didn’t see the difference. Just make sure that once you start a game you have time. Sometimes the rounds can last 20 minutes or more. Especially in the more difficult rounds. So far it has turned out to be one of my favorite games.

Woulda been a 5 Star But....

This game is a lot of fun and I love the competition aspect. 3 HUGE downfalls that pushed this game from the 5 Star it can be to the 4 star it is: 1. Put a cap on the number of Light Bulbs that one person can use in a round. So unfun to be winning and lose only because another player uses 5 light bulbs in 10 seconds. That alone has made me want to look for other games. 2. A 12 min wait every time you lose? C”mom guys! That’s really bad. 12 minutes?? 12?! Should update it to give people lives. 3 or 5 before making us wait. I get that it’s there to get people to purchase light bulbs, but I’d rather play another game during the wait and the, if I do remember to come back, I’ll play my 1 round (more if you win) and then wait. If anything, I’d rather have multiple lives then purchase light bulbs to use 1 or 2 for the difficult pictures. 3. The pictures get difficult pretty quick. I understand it’s a progression, but it goes from in your face easy to difficult within a few levels. Could ease into it a bit more. Other than that, this game is a lot of fun and I would recommend to anyone (willing to put a few dollars in)......

    Fun, if a little ageist

I used to play 5 Spots years ago and loved it. When I discovered this game with its wonderful similarities I was thrilled. Sadly, my old eyes have deteriorated quite a bit since the old 5 Spots days. Some of the differences in these pictures are so microscopic I can’t even see them when I get a “hint,” unless I screen cap the picture and use my photo app to zoom in on the blue rectangle. “Oh, there it is. That two pixel change in the size of a shadow!” Or “Oh, a missing little wrinkle in a very dark pair of pants.” I wouldn’t suggest the devs make the differences easier to spot, but a simple zoom feature would go a long way towards helping this old lady resist the temptation to throw her iPad out the window!! Life will never give everybody an even playing field, nor should it. But when there are simple things we can do to make life just a little more enjoyable for others...well...why not? So, please, sirs, may we have some zoom? Response to developer response: I am not sure what new features necessitated eliminating zoom, unless it just increased sales of hints. Perhaps we can have more opportunities to earn hints via ads until you decide to “switch it back on.” Nobody understands what happens to old eyes until it happens to them. It’s actually demoralizing. We’re a big marketing demographic... don’t alienate us! Please!

Before you play you should know...

I would have given this 5 stars as it is fun.. but the whole 12 minute wait to play after you lose is ridiculous. I can’t imagine why a game would do this other than for a money grab so you buy the “coins” or whatever they’re called, and I could maybe understand a 2-5 minute wait, but I nearly uninstalled the game the first time it happened. I’d honestly rather put up with ads than deal with a clear money grab. It ruins the fun and keeps this fun game from being excellent. I do enjoy the challenges, I feel like it’s helping me become sharper and more observant and I’ve always enjoyed these types of games. I do love it, but that wait it horrendous and frankly isn’t really worth the fun. Keep this in mind before you decide to play.

    Used To Love It

I have been playing for a about month and loved it. Now that I’m up a little in levels it sometimes takes a looong time to find the last difference. After staring for 15-20 minutes I will usually give up and use a lightbulb. I recently tried to purchase a small package of lightbulbs. The game took my money but never gave me the lightbulbs. I tried again and the same thing. I had to request a refund from Apple a few times. Then I clicked on Feedback and Contact Us to make them aware of the problem. A chat window opens and says “How can we help you?” I typed in my problem and waited...no response. After 5 minutes with no response I closed the window. They obviously don’t mind taking your money but don’t want to help. I’ve downloaded another game already.

    This game is addicting... BUT

I’ve been playing this game everyday for two weeks now. It is ADDICTING. It was really fun in the beginning, but then it just gets aggravating. Some levels are SO difficult that you’re forced to buy a hint or quit. And the only way to get hints is to earn them by winning (which is not easy) or to purchase them (they’re not cheap, $1 for 2 hints). You have to wait about 15 minutes to play again if you lose, which is also aggravating... you should have lives, maybe after you lose 3x you wait. And lastly, you’re not playing against real people, so don’t be fooled. I’m very competitive and was buying so many hints until i found out they’re not even real people I’m playing against. It’s a decent game though. Just kind of shady.

    So Frustrating

When I started playing this game I loved it. It was the only good Find the differences game I can find. They recently removed the time clock that allowed any player to start a 1 minute countdown. When the time was up the player that had earned the highest score (calculated on the number of differences found and the speed of finding them) won. It was an awesome feature and a great strategy if you had the highest score and couldn’t find anymore differences. It was also good to use when the game was at a standstill. Without the timer I almost always end up quitting the games because no one can find all the clues and we sit there indefinitely. so now, even if I have the highest score I lose anyway because the one who wins in these cases isn’t the best player, it’s the player who has the most time to waste 😤. And since I keep losing I never get to earn the bonuses that give players free hints. I wrote to them twice to explain my frustration but was told that the game is more fair without the timer 🤦‍♀️

    Glitches and no zoom 😑

I have always been a fan of find the difference type game and I do like this game. However, this has happened a lot where I'll be in a game and it will just kick me out all of a sudden and then I have to wait 12min to start a new game. Also, I've lost several games because I'll find my last difference but it doesn't register right away, the timing wheel will be spinning and then all of a sudden my opponent wins the game because my difference I found didn't register immediately. I clearly won the game but my game froze and ultimately made me lose the game. Also, with the new update, the zoom function has been removed making it very difficult to find the tiny differences and ultimately causing frustration. I feel that it is a way to make us spend money for the light bulbs, unless I want to spend 30min looking for the last small difference. If those issues could be fixed, I would give a higher rating and the game would be great!

    It WAS great

I’ve been playing for a while and was up above level 400. Then, the programmers changed things. A lot of people said it was a way to force people to buy hints and use them more. The latest change removed the our ability to zoom in on the picture to find tiny differences. When it was asked why, the developer kept saying the same thing over and over again to anyone that asked. He/she said something about testing in the app and future changes and sorry for the inconvenience. It’s impossible to find some of the differences, especially at higher levels, without being able to zoom in. So, it seems like once again, in order to solve a picture, they are making you buy and use hints. I tried to play for a while without zooming. There was no way to finish a game without spending money. I deleted the game and stopped playing. It is SO frustrating.

    Fun but beyond aggravating

Way too rushed. It’s great to have a competition aspect but it is too rushed and when someone uses a hint they can use them all at once to win so you will lose because of this. Then you have to wait over 10 minutes to try it again if you lose. Why on earth would you play that way, by that time I’m over and done with it and aggravated that I have to wait that long to try again. Some of them are extremely hard which I get is the point but to change something so tiny that you can’t see it on your phone is ridiculous. Also they try to force you to spend real money by adding coins for the hints and that is how other people win so to me that is cheating. You also don’t get enough coins back when you do win. Too much wrong with it and I don’t mind spending money on games, but not if I’m forced to do so.

    unhappy with this app

I have been playing this game aggressively for over a month so i could win the 500 coins on the 30th day....i won them, so you could imagine in all that time, I’ve seen a few hundred pictures on your app, and in the last couple of weeks with all the holiday themed pics, you’ve shown dozens upon dozens of family and friend pics of people spending their holidays with loved ones or opening presents or santa pics. And of those hundreds upon hundreds of pics I’ve worked on your site, i could count on one hand maybe one hand and a half of pictures that featured black families or kids, or spanish famiies or kids or any ethnic groups that are considered “minorities”. Do they not deserve to be shown enjoying their holiday, or opening their gifts or sitting on santa’s lap?! I think the blatant disregard is disgusting! Do better! Thats all.
