It’s great! Just needs a few more things though

I saw this from the Tiny Tower game, and I love it! As it just came out, there are obviously a few things missing. The first would be converting bux to coins just like in Tiny Tower. It comes in very handy in Tiny Tower, and I’d love for it to be added here. The second is video offers. It’s pretty self explanatory, but I don’t want the only way to get bux to be buying it and the small missions every so often. The third would be all the people that do things, like the Real Estate Agents and construction workers, being in the lobby instead of the bottom of the screen. It bothers me when I’m trying to tap the menu or elevator button and I press that instead. The last thing from the top of my head are the levels that residents have for each type of job. In Tiny Tower, they have different jobs that they are better in, and I think it would fit here as well. Other than those things, the game is good!

    Almost perfect

I’ve been a fan of these games since TT first came out. I played the heck out of the first one, and I was very sad when Tiny Death Star got removed (please, Disney, bring it back), and I was so giddy when I saw this. It’s pretty much perfect, and the stuff it is lacking shouldn’t be too much trouble to add, I’d hope. Like I think it’d be better if the camera didn’t zoom out when using the elevator in zoomed-in mode, and I’d love to be able to scroll down below the tower to see Easter eggs like in previous games. Also please add the chart showing how many of each type of floor you have, so it’s easy to decide what to add next. It seems like the only problem with this game is that it’s not quite as in depth as the previous installments. Overall, I like it a lot, and I’d love to see those few changes if possible. Anyways, thanks again, Nimblebit for the awesome game. It truly makes the kid in me happy again.

Love this game so much! Just one suggestion.

I’m a little obsessed with this game. It is so much fun, it’s unbelievable. The only thing I wish the devs would consider is this. I spend $3 to 5 days of being in the LEGO Club. During that time, I chose a different background. All backgrounds are free when you’re in the LEGO club, but hey, you just spent real money, so that’s fair. After, when my 5 days had gone, I switched back to the default just to play around. To go back to the one I had gotten, it would be another $5,500 LEGO bux. Since I spent real money, I think it would be nice if I could at least keep the one I ended my club membership with, I mean obviously not all of them, but at least that one would be nice. Guessing the same goes for the elevator, but I’m too afraid to switch and lose my Colorful elevator now that I have to wait until payday again for another 5 day membership.

Game is great; freemium model is disappointing

Lego Tower is a fantastic collaboration between Lego and NimbleBit, combining the fun gameplay of Tiny Tower with the art style and aesthetic of Lego’s wonderful world of minifigs. If you like Tiny Tower, this is a great addition to the series, and if you like Lego, you should check this out! My one complaint is with the “Tower Club” premium membership. Other NimbleBit games have offered access to premium content with a one-time in app purchase, which I’ve frequently done as a way to thank them for their amazing games. Lego Tower instead has the “Tower Club”, where you can in app purchase “days in the club”; once those expire, those benefits are lost, making it subscription-like. The lack of permanent benefit is disappointing, and makes it substantially less likely that I will make that in app purchase than I otherwise would have.

    Love you guys, NimbleBit!!!

Since the game became available, I have been playing it NONSTOP (I am a big fan of all your games AND the LEGO universe!) and I am really pleased with how the game is going so far, even if it has been only a few hours! One thing I will say though is I'm a little bummed out I can't "save" VIPs in my lobby like in Tiny Tower. I know I can hold off on using them, but I think that it takes up the random quest space, since none of the vehicle missions appear when I'm saving a VIP. But! I trust you all in making a great game like all the others with a few new tweaks and twists added in! I have been a big fan of all your games including the original Tiny Tower and even Tiny Death Star (before it's unfortunate removal by Disney D: ) and Tiny LEGO Tower is no exception!! Keep making great games, NimbleBit!!!!!

    App dev plz help

I absolutely love this game and have been playing it since July. However, tonight I’ve been trying to visit my friends and some have a newer update version, I believe it’s the 1.7 update... well I’m on iOS and I don’t even see an update. The most recent update was 1.6 about 1 and a half week ago. Please put the toaster out there for everyone thanks!!! This game is great especially when you upgrade your lift and add friends and visit them. It earns the both of you coins and Buxs!! I’m hoping to see some more characters too!! How cool would it be to have a Potter, Marvel or DC, or a Star Wars character!!! This game intensely fun and I am on pin and needles waiting for that update it is telling me to do.

    Great game!

I am 13 years of age and have not put my device down since I started playing this game. I love this tower game over normal tower games because, unlike the others, there’s always something to do. It gets a little repetitive, but the fact that even when you have to wait for something to build, there’s something to do in the meantime. There are a few issues, like the automatic elevator isn’t fully automatic. You still need to click on the elevator, it just holds down the button for you. I love all the customization features, and the only real problem I have is with the VIP system. I highly recommend you download this game.

    I love the Game But...

I really like to play this game but I think it’s needs some improvements. I wish we could have multiple towers like 4 or 5. Also missions it would make the game even more fun then it is now. Now I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with this amazing game just I little bit of improvement it it’s going to be really fun. But on the other hand I LOVE EVERYTHING. I love the thing about the elevators where you can get coins from getting The passengers to the right floor. Love that you can design the lego people. Note: I looked at my cousins iPad and said “what is that game” and he said “Lego Tower”. That’s how I got this game :3 good job on the game though:)

    Pretty good game

This is a pretty good tiny tower game though not as good as fallout shelter. Ok so the good... nice design and great customization options . If you get the membership you can alter a lot more like your background and some of your levels can be themed as well as the roof, and you can choose what new businesses come in. I think it’s worth it but a bit pricey. If you like mixing and matching LEGO pieces and trading with friends I can see that as a collecting mini game that would be fun. The bad. First off there are little things you can do to pass the time like find pizzas and lost pets and all kinds of random things hidden in your levels but it’s repetitive fast. You still need to do it to get bux but this is not a game you can spend any real time on. It’s a game that’s best if you just want to check in every few hours. Also I wish it was a little more interactive. I wish I could choose my menu at the sweet shop or cafe or sushi place etc... it just needs more interaction for me. All in all a nice game to have, but not really a time waster

    Relaxing and addicting game

A fun and addicting app, with a simple concept that’s easy but enjoyable. There are just two things I have noticed: When accomplishing quests to get bux, some of the smaller items can be difficult if you’re trying to tap them on a phone. For example, collecting bananas and buckets. Not only are they hard to find, but their size also makes it difficult for the app to register what you’re trying to select. The other thing I’m not a fan of is that if you accidentally select a helper, like a worker or a delivery man, there’s no way to undo the action. You have to use them then and there, which is frustrating at times, since they usually arrive several minutes before they’re actually needed. I’ve had no issues with bugs or glitches, and the overall game has been relaxing and fun.

    Hello normal people out there

If you're like me, often you like to read random reviews of strange Apps that you would probably never in a million years think of downloading. And the more you read these reviews, the more you think that whoever is downloading these apps is strange on a level that it is tough to reconcile. I must've read the words "tiny tower" 65,000 times in the reviews for this app. On some nights this passes for entertainment at my place. Anyway I thought it would be fun to actually download this crazy app and see what all the fuss is about. And here's what happened: the game opened up and showed a Lego creature and some sort of tower thing and then guided me via glowing arrors to point out things that I'm supposed to tap. Tap for this stuff, tap for that. I tapped and got tired of tapping but part of me actually wanted to keep tapping. I got scared and deleted the app.

    Good & Bad

I’m at almost 1200 days with my original Tiny Tower. I was excited to see a new Nimblebit Tower game, and this Lego Tower is loaded with features and generally cute things if you have any interest whatsoever in the Lego universe. It is just that and Tiny Tower combined. The bad thing however (and the reason I will no longer be playing this) is because they have switched to a sort of subscription type of thing for the VIP package that was a one-time fee in Tiny Tower. In this game, you pay $20 for what is ultimately less than a year of the same VIP stuff that was in Tiny Tower (automatic elevator, custom lobbies, etc.) I refuse. I will not pay for temporary perks that were previously permanent, so I will stick with my original tower and forego this one. Still, give it a try people, you might like despite the disadvantages of not paying for temporary perks.

Without paying real $ it’s mostly chance

[update] Sadly, my daughter rebuilt her tower at level 50 and now she’s heart broken. She lost all her characters, all the custom items she’s been collecting for a month. We’re deleting the game now. [review] It’s costs real money to join the “tower club” and wow do you need it to progress. This game is basically random trial and error without it. Without tower club you can’t choose what business to build. This matters because the entire game is based on having the right workers for the right job and getting 3x bonuses when you match them. You get workers randomly. If you start getting a bunch of one type worker, you can’t build their specific business unless you have “tower club”. Which means you're stuck using them in the wrong place or deleting the business and trying another random build. Or keep evicting LEGO people until you get ones that like that job. I tried the free 5-day trial of “tower club” and the game was enjoyable. Suddenly I could build the businesses that my LEGO people got bonuses for. Could actually plan my tower, started making decent money and feeling like this is how it’s meant to be played. Worst of all, this payment method is subscription based. You can’t pay a one time price to unlock the the “tower club” because they want you to keep paying, over and over. The game itself was a lot of fun while the deal lasted.

    The greed is real...

And it begins with a flat out lie. They hooked me in by saying a rebuild (to obtain a gold brick) would require 30 floors. As soon as my son and I built our 30th floor, we went to rebuild and the number had changed to 50 floors! Of course we had spent a lot of time (and some real money) working toward this goal of 30 floors. The game is boring with about 25 floors or more. Watching the elevator (which was upgraded several times) slowly go up that many floors put me to sleep more than once. There are way too many pieces to collect. I like the idea of this part of the game, but all of the slight variations in hair and pants color make it drag on and it gets repetitive to sell off all of the duplicate pieces you get. Many of the pieces are unrecognizable, a brief description would go a long way. The fact that you can’t switch out a character while awaiting delivery makes no sense and is a cheap way to encourage spending in-game cash. Also, the starter pack is bait on a hook; while it does offer a bit of a boost, the lack of explanation for what the “Tree of Creativity” does is shameful. It’s a roof. That’s it. That’s all they would need to say but they “mysteriously” leave that out hoping you will think it’s something special; something that actually DOES something. There’s nowhere in the app to provide feedback so it has to happen here. Don’t be the next to get hooked!
