Dear creators, I absolutely admire this game, and I think it has great potential and charm, although I do have a few pieces of constructive criticism. For starters I believe the week long random brew could be done better, I always think that it takes too long, and It’s not like everyone is able to play everyday, my first random brew took me three weeks, and also I believe it should award at least one scroll with your random gift. Secondly, in the coven custom you currently cannot select the Juggernaut, and the worse part about that is that the Juggernaut is actually a really interesting character. Finally for my criticisms I would really like a feature in which you could ask to join a party directly from the end game lobby, as how you can request friends. That is all of the negatives I have for this game, otherwise it is amazing! Good job developers. Recently I have attempted to purchase the mobile premium and coven expansion bundle, and yet it did not work even when my request was approved, then I tried to attempt to purchase the mobile premium and then the coven expansion separately, my mobile premium request worked within seconds, whereas the coven expansion still does not work. Could you fix this creators? Yours truly- A gaming critic

So I first downloaded this game but everything was black I had a little trouble figuring things out so I redownloaded the game and it said I had to watch an add to play I gotta little mad but when I got into the game nothing was black anymore and I had so much fun playing (and this was the non coven version) I had so much fun playing this game so I got the coven to give the creators some credit and when the I bought coven IT WAS AWSOME not only do you get to give the creators thanks for the game you also get an awsome new roles new modes it’s great and if the community starts to game throw you can report or just join ranked practice everyone there is way more serious there there to win so you don’t get game throwers even without the coven it’s awesome even though you have to watch the add once you play your having so much fun the creators did a great job on this game and I hope they update it again and make some awsome new roles!!

This game is pretty good I played a few rounds, this game is exactly like the board game I played with my brothers friends which is called “Salem” it has some of the exact character in the board game mostly the game part was fine. What I hate about is when you click on the play button you have to view an ad every time your done with a game, you could not view 2 to 3 ads after you viewed 1 which annoys me every time I click play but over all I think that If more people’s download this game they would pretty much enjoy it like I do without having to view the ads every time, I hope that the next update the creator can remove the ads so you won’t have to keep watching for tickets but instead you can already play.

Hi I love town of Salem and the content people can produce from the game. I love the game so much that I decided to buy the coven and mobile expansion pack but I encountered a problem. When ever I went to buy the pack it would say pending purchase now i wait for a bit and it didn’t purchase it. I understand maybe it takes a few minutes to download but it won’t let me purchase. So I hope this is a easy to fix problem or bug. Other than that the game is so much fun that I is worth watching a ad per game because watching a 30 second ad to maybe play a fun long game is well worth it but I wanted the coven expansion pack so I hope the devs or someone can help me here because I’m willing to wait for awhile for a super fun game.

There’s many card game versions of this game that I’m sure a lot of you may have played. I’ve been playing this on and off for about a month now on different devices. I’ll get straight to the point. -the player base absolutely destroy the purpose and the fun of this game. I’m pretty sure the players playing this have never played the card version of the game in real life. The chat function is used to public ally declare which role each player is and they simply kill off who ever doesn’t public ally announce their role. It’s really silly and ruins the game because the village wins 99.9% of the time so there’s no fun or point in playing honestly. Other than that I have It a 4 star because I know it’s not the actually game’s fault people are ruining It in this way. The ads are a bit annoying but I do realise the devs want some coin for creating this as well. Maybe a feature to add would be removing the chat or finding a way to stress the actual rules. The game is literally pointless to play as is because of the community.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I absolutely Love ToS! I play it almost every day ever since I got it about 2 weeks ago and even bought the coven expansion. However, there are SO MANY bugs on this. First, there is no way to access the store unless you buy the game, or at least there wasn’t before I bought it. Next, I sometimes get the message that my IP was blocked for no reason. I just log out and log back in and it goes away, but still a little bothersome. But the last thing, and the main reason I’m writing this review, is that the app keeps crashing. Just now I was about to win a game as jailor on pr when my game crashed. It’s not the first time this has happened either, I’ve lost count to the number of times that the app has crashed in the last 3 days. Really makes me sad since the game is so good. Please fix this as soon as possible, can’t really enjoy the game anymore.

I've read through the reviews and few complain about how if you play for free, you have to watch tons of ads for just a ticket, but I personally never had that problem. Perhaps I'm just lucky, but I only need to watch one ad per classic ticket. I think the game is really well thought out and very fun to play if you're playing with the right people. People also complain about how people are so negative in a game like this, but I'd say that comes with any game where you can say anything you want. The app itself is meh because when you type, half of the screen is covered. But that's the best you can really do, right? But perhaps I could suggest putting the chat box above when you bring up the keyboard so you can still read chat while you type. Besides that, I enjoy this game!

So I need a win as a hypno for my last win until I’ve won as everything, so I get some scrolls and when I end out getting hypno, the game is really close, and I’m turned into a mafioso. We still won the game, but I didn’t get the achievement! Like I got the win and everything, and I was a hypno to start as. I feel like that really unfair, because amne achievements go to amne, even if you won as a surv. It should be like that for mafia too. Another note that came up in that game, you should be allowed to vote up people who left. The poor exe I made a deal to lynch their target but their target left so the exe couldn’t win. I feel really bad about that cuz the exe making a deal with me was the only reason we won.

I really would love to rate this five stars. Let me start by saying Town of Salem is a LOT of fun. If you have ever played the PC version, it’s a hundred times better than the mobile version. The mobile version has a lot of issues to it. The game is also great, but there’s a few things that could be fixed: 1.) Allow the game to start if there aren’t 15 players. You can wait for 20-25 minutes in a lobby like Coven Classic. 2.) Fix the chat on mobile. It’s incredibly difficult to play with. I would say a nice suggestion would be allowing VIP members to get a higher chance to get access to a certain role too. Make it a rank based system where you can choose which roles you’d like to play as.

The game itself is very fun and addicting. I will go out and say I even like this more than among us which is the better game. The reason for my average rating is because the community is full of brain dead players and sheep’s who will start random lynching day 2. If you thought among us was bad for getting a innocent or just a random player voted off suddenly with no evidence, that is child play compared to this game and these people. It’s terrible, also the dev team keeps making bad changes to ranked play making the ranked experience unbalanced. For some reason they are trying to fix things that aren’t broken but I’m new and been playing a month and maybe it’s normal but I do not like this. Anyhow there’s not much wait time to hop in a match, more often than not it’s instantly so the game is alive in terms of population. The customization is poor but is ok because you can farm coins fast to unlock more characters and maps etc....

I was excited to play this game and had seen people play before, it seemed cool which was what let me to get it but when i got in I had to make an account i didn’t like it but it didn’t really bother me. Then i tried to play it asked to watch an ad and told me you had to watch an ad before game fine with me but unfortunately you also had to pay for the ability to be coven which was one of the reasons I had thought it was cool and hadn’t just gone and gotten the game mafia. I still was gonna play cause I thought it could be fun and then after the set up and I had got my role the game started and as it loaded it closed the app. I had been kicked from the game and had to sign in, I did and tried again this time it didn’t give me the tickets after the ad so after 3 ads i got out and swiped it up, got back and signed in had my three tickets i tried to get in and it does the same thing where it kicks me out of the app once I get a role and such i try again it had consumed my ticket and I still tried again it worked this time i get in the game night goes by then day almost get voted and then when i think about what role to fake i get kicked out again and i had had enough I deleted the app and came here. I also noticed multiple people have mention this same problem and it hasn’t been fixed, i’m gonna re-download the app and try one last time and if it works ill edit this comment and if not then I wont.

I don’t mind watching 1 Ad per Game for Free Play, I do mind that it’s 50/50 on if the ADs “work”. Some days no issues at all, others I could watch 20 ADs and constantly get the “Flummery! You have to watch the full AD to get the ticket” obnoxious notification over and over, So enjoy the extra revenue I guess? Not sure if that’s an intended scam for F2P but the more it happens the more I don’t want to bother playing. Also don’t like how I somehow got a suspension my first day of downloading the app when I wasn’t even playing it, also 0 explanation as to why it even happened. No Mod help box, So I’m stuck with these issues unless I go to their threads (which are hundreds of pages of issues so good luck there). Gameplay wise I’ve had lag/freezes mid game that causes the app to crash so the matches leave me with nothing. Also there are Penalties for being AFK so that’s fun. Not to mention the supposed Good Community is full of racist trolls and 4Chan level smack talkers. I’ve personally been in lobbies with very disturbingly named people and 9/10 they throw the game and ruin it for everyone. Currently I can’t even play because supposedly there’s a new version but App Store offers No update and Uninstalling then reinstalling doesn’t even work. Lol. Mostly hoping writing this will get through to the Devs. All in all if you really want to play this game just play the PC version this app is incredibly unstable.

A disgrace to the name of online strategy. A few examples of the atrocious behavior demonstrated within this game: The first thing I was confronted with was the Register screen. Everything was fine at first. Then, the passwords came. I put in my usual password format. Didn’t work. I was confused. It had multiple capital characters, and two numbers. Then I figured out you need at least one special character. Just... what? The next thing I noticed was the lack of an actual menu/lobby. It was just a huge ad for an expansion bundle, with some buttons on the side that directs you to different things. An unholy amount of overpriced cosmetic items, and... town points? Houses? I thought this was a strategy game, not a town builder. And now, my final verdict. I finally decided to hit the small “PLAY” button. It gave me a pop up that told me to either watch an ad, get a premium membership, or get an even more expensive membership. Why the hell would you have to watch an ad just to get to the main game? This game is an abomination, and should not get all the good reviews it gets. Thank you for reading, I hope this was helpful.

Beware of all the comments of people saying they have been banned because they must have done something pretty egregious to be banned. This game is full of people spewing hate speech and I’ve come across the same people time and time again after reporting them multiple times. People say some pretty horrendous things that I won’t repeat but I don’t want to trigger anyone. The game needs some sort of monitoring process or a way to kick people out of the game because they just have a mute and report button which doesn’t do much for people spewing hate. If you are lgbtq, bipoc or Jewish I suggest you don’t even try this out. I’ve left this game in tears because of the horrible things people say to you. It needs to be addressed by the creators. They think that subbing out the words works, it doesn’t, people just add extra letters or space them. It’s horrific and needs to be addressed. I’ve even tried emailing screenshots to their email of some particularly horrible things one user said and I never got a response.
