It’s not often you come across a free app that pushes ads every other second; Hot Slide did their ads SO much better. It’s all integrated into earning rewards, they’re out of the way when you race. About racing: It’s really smooth, has a learning curve, and the cars are really sweet. I find myself sliding my finger too far off the screen sometimes, but I just gotta get used to it. I’m not sure how the balancing is quite yet, but hopefully they can continue to improve the number system to give players the best idea of how fast their car actually is. The UI is very organized and I really enjoy the progression system. The rewards are really nice, and after playing for a couple hours I’ve gotten plenty of good stuff for free (with the use of ads as well.) In addition to this, the special offers are reasonable, and watching an ad for another crate or double currency for an hour is super worth it. I’m not a fan of micro transactions and pay to win, but this game is probably one of the least stingy about progression, which means you can play the game completely free and still do well and get ranked with others at your level. I’ve reached level 7 in an hour of playing, so I am still unlocking the different levels and competitive racing. The time trial team mode was pretty cool, and well organized. Hot Slide is fast and fun, simple and easy to follow. I hope more apps continue to follow this model!

It’s hard to fined games you like to keep, but this one honestly caught my eye. The controls to drift are really simple and you can change it in setting for it to stay in the center (for those who have played) but on top of that there are tons of cars you’ll recognize and want, and they each have an acceleration and speed and after learning that and each course, which there are really interesting ones, you find ways to beat your opponent you race. The shop system is really nice too. If you don’t have the money it only takes a few gems and you can grab more cards. You start off with plenty and it’s easy to earn them. There’s also a game pass you can buy which I find kind of pricey, 3 bucks a week? Seems a little pricey so I don’t buy it but other than that I love this game, highly recommend you try it.

Over all its an amazing game, but we need new cars its been so long. I love the new skins and car parts but it gets boring if I don't have a goal on getting new cars. Thank you for understanding. I’ve been playing for over a year now and I’ve reached silver league 2-3 times, its a free to play game if you have skill and a 20 minutes a day. Thank you for the new update where now all opponents have the same cars or sometimes worse cars and I think that is amazing, also getting legendary cars got a little more difficult to get but thats fair because they’re the best rarity and stat rated cars. I hope more people come to realize how easy the game is. (Small but big glitch: sometimes after you finish a race it doesn’t give me my trophy’s)

The game itself is really good, but there are some aspects that are in the game that need to be tweaked or removed in my opinion, for example the nitrous you can use is dumb to go against and puts people at a significant disadvantage. There is also many times when I’m racing and I’m in the lead and I’ll come up on a sharp turn and then the guy behind me hits me as hard as possible and then it puts my car in a weird position and it’s hard to get out of. These are just some issues I’ve encountered otherwise the game itself is great and super fun the pros outweigh the cons filbert everything.

Howdy, So I’ve gotten decently far into the game at 3690 trophies being my highest. Stillafter the brand new update today, where they totally converted all car stats to smaller numbers. A car with all worse stats than me was beating me on a straightaway on a course. “The Ghost” level 4 which had 4 less acceleration and 5 less speed, was pulling away from a level 5 “Satin” that has 168 acceleration and 157 speed. So a completely slower car was beating after we were neck and neck the entire race. But magically he had the power to get faster than me. I have the problem where if I am neck and neck with someone in a tight squeeze, I’ll get in front of them. We both try to squeeze through the tight spot, and they will literally phase through me like there was no obstacle there. My car will glitch and will be like drop kicked into a wall. This makes me lose the race every time. So hopefully this gets fixed.

Even if everything in this game is basically a great value brand version of actual cars, it’s a really enjoyable game. The only issues I have are: Matchmaking- There should be a system implemented in order to keep newer players with few cars in their garage from getting matched against people who have much more progress in the game. Controls- The controls are a bit inconsistent. Whenever you hit an obstacle- or opponent- hard enough that it damages your car, it resets the control position to wherever you happen to be touching the screen at the time. The handling also feels inconsistent- One second a car will be able to take a sharp corner with no problems, and the next, a wider corner results in the car just going straight into a wall. All in all, it’s a great game, but the matchmaking system and controls need a bit of work.

RIVER PEAK. THIS SNOW TRACK IS TERRIBLE. Tiver peak is just a constant guess whenever you play on it. The track changes direction, the snow makes it hard to maneuver sometimes, the track’s walls are so jagged that you’ll end up crashing even if it looks like you’re running a good line.. there’s so much. Especially the fact that some of the walls are incredibly hard to react to since the same color/texture is being used for the snow on the track. River Peak is a horrible track in my opinion and it needs to be changed to become more consistent. If every other track in the game I’ve played so far is, why can’t River Peak be the same? By the way, please keep in mind that I’m in League Tiger so if there are any other tracks that I haven’t mentioned that are the same way, please give them a look over as well. Overall, great game. Haven’t spent a dime on it and I’ve been hooked since day one.

I love the style of this game. I’ve never seen anything like it, and the attention to detail is phenomenal. My only issue is that after you level up a few times, every opponent you are matched with has cars and upgrades miles ahead of you, and it’s nearly impossible to level up then. I don’t know if this is because most people watch dozens of ads at every chance they can or use pay-to-win strategies, but either way, they need to change the way opponents are matched. For this to be a five star game, they need to match up a similar car (and level) to yours instead of using your player level or whatever they do now. This would instantly make the game much more fun and engaging instead of making me dread racing again because I know I’ll be destroyed by a car that I won’t be able to get for weeks.

Simply amazing racing in the marlin league and can’t ever get past it 95 percent of racesare cars 2 3 4 levels ahead of me veer lower level and some times I get completely anhialated and yet there in the same low class marlin league cas me really I ge destroyed and these drivers players are still in the marlin league yes just got the green fire arrow car to level five and sliding all over the track lost every single race because of the hacking so just think when it gets to level 10 probably slide right through the mountain at that speed really I have raced other fire arrow drivers and thy seems to not have this problem but my car can’t and won’t stay on he track. One minute later just after writing this review the 2nd race I was I was a police car with lights flashing don’t believe I have ever raced one yet but WHAT A COINCIDENCE RIGHT AFTE I SENT IN THE REVIEW

TLDR: River Peak ruins the late game. Skill matters for the first ranks, but late rank winners are determined by who can glitch the other first. car stats are ballpark estimates. I absolutely loved this game until I hit later leagues (I’m league 16). Once I made it past league 10 or so, I noticed the game was less about how well you could race on the track and more about how many times you can hit the other person or crash them into a wall. Since bumping the other car significantly slows them down and hitting a wall will either slow you, or glitch you and bring you to a stop, late leagues turned into bumper cars. Whoever can glitch the other car first will be the winner, no matter how skilled of a racer you may be. This is a major issue on river peak, since the controls are not optimized well enough for that track, and in later leagues you will race on river peak 1 out of every 3 races guaranteed. As a minor issue, car stats are not accurate at all. My lvl6 ghost tops at 277, but it runs to HIGH 280s. Same with my lvl6 satin. All this together killed the game for me because I loved how heavily skill based the racing is early on, but skill won’t actually end up making a difference if you start to progress through the ranks. This doesn’t affect time trials of course, but it makes the ranked races frustrating and not worth the attempt.

In my entire time with iPhone (6+years), never have I ever rated an app. This game is fun. I don’t spend money on games but this one is different for some reason. I would normally not have any issues with a game like this, but the map River Peak should not be in this game. It is awful. The controls aren’t optimized enough for it to be included yet. If you get stuck on a wall... you are stuck and there is absolutely no catching up. My issues with every other map is how you slow down if you get too close to a wall, NOT TOUCHING IT, but only if you get too close. This has to be fixed. Last, but not least, Mt. Hairpin... this map is a fun rendition of the mountain race from Tokyo Drift. However this map has the 2nd worst problem of getting stuck on a wall. If you slide too far on a turn and hit the wall your car will stop completely and have the absolute most trouble ever trying to accelerate again. I believe this is all because of how the camera movement also affects the movement of your car. Please fix the issues. I would hate to see this wonderful game fail because of these crappy problems.

I’m not going to go in depth discussing the pros and cons of the game, but I would like to address an issue I would hope can be fixed in some way - opponents benefit from ramming you into the walls. This is a major problem (at least in my eyes) and I’d really like it to be fixed. The following is a less major problem, but is a very similar issue. When the person you’re racing crashes on a narrow track, you will inevitably run into them and 95% of the time it will slow you down you over significantly more than it will your opponent. As well as this, small crashes can completely stop your car whilst you can have a major crash that will barely phase you. Another minor problem is that after a certain point in the game, who wins is often based on where you start - whoever starts in a better position wins. And a note to any potential staff reading this - please remove river peak, nobody likes it. Finally, please just don’t add turns if they aren’t part of the race - the turns that are cut off. When you are racing it can be really confusing.

So I’ve just started playing. I loved this game and how it works but I’ve gotten to high to quick and now everyone has level 4-5 horizon which I don’t have. EVERYONE I face has the same car and I can’t win. They push me into a wall or glitch through me everytime. It’s less about skill and more that everyone I face has a massive advantage on me. Please fix the glitching so that I at least have some sort of chance to win. Right now I literally cannot win. I’ve just read multiple peoples complaints and not a single one has been fixed. I see now that I’m not alone whenever I go against way higher ranked cars. Also the game is trying to force you to buy cars and spend real money. I didn’t realize that this game brought in “physics” and I almost started laughing at how STUPID that is! This game has NO “physics” AT ALL. Makes 0 sense how if they hit my car a certain way one time I crash then again I don’t crash. Another thing is drifting. Sometimes if u drift you slow down...wouldn’t happen. If I get close to a wall I slow down automatically???? Stupid. If I barely bump a car I end up going slow or completely stopping. This game was fun and it’s makes me mad that they had to ruin it

Pay to win and bad matchmaking. I’m so tired of trying to find a pvp game that is not toxic, pay to win, or have crappy matchmaking. This game has these three factors automatically because of many issues. The game is kind of good at the start and that is why it has so many good ratings. I enjoyed it for somewhere around 3 hours and then automatically felt like it was still a toxic pvp racing game. It’s always been this way and probably will never change. First of all why it is toxic, people can push you into walls and into the water to slow you down and sometimes completely stop you. Second of all yes, the game is pay to win because of overpriced auction house skins that exclusively have nitro. Buying packs also gives you a humungous advantage over players. Finally, crap matchmaking, I’m always going against people like 3-4 levels higher to me and going on losing streaks and it ruins the game, especially since this game runs off of a ranked system it penalizes you for losing and the higher the rank you go the more it does it can even bring you down ranks, I remember a time when I lost 3 ranks in a row back at release. It’s a dying game with developers to stubborn to fix it.
