    Decent

I had a lot of fun playing this game. It kept me entertained for hours. However, there are a few drawbacks. You can’t build two story homes. Building on slopes or hills doesn’t work well with the graphics. It also takes a lot of time to build stone homes. However, I was determined and had a goal to build a stone home. Shortly after that, I realized there’s no end goal. There’s nothing else left for me to accomplish. So I am deleting the game because I’ve crafted everything, explored every island (all but the main one had nothing new on them), and have mastered everything there is to the game without completing any overall goal. Don’t get me wrong, there is good. Hunting is easy. Stand in water and lure aggressive animals toward you. Use a bow and arrows and you have easy meals. Collecting items around the island is fun, easy, and adventurous. Overall, this game was very fun for hours and hours. Now that I’ve accomplished “surviving” without any real survival goal, I’m done with the game.

    A solid, free game!!

(Dropping a star and deleting because developer is not improving it, bummer.) Now my old review; Thank you for a free game where you can play all of the content without a bunch of ads!! There is so much to figure out and explore and not once did I HAVE TO watch ads to move forward at a reasonable and enjoyable pace. I DID watch ads because they do help if you are impatient or lazy! The graphics are great, the freedom of creativity is so fun and my favorite part is the save slots! I can return to another situation after trying something that didn’t quite work, awesome! I really really would love more unlockable items, I seem to have hit a plateau around level 30, is that it, am I done? If there is more coming as I level up, awesome. If not, I might buy a lion pet and goof around a bit more but I’ll be bored soon. I have enjoyed this game for over a week with a lot of time spent. I absolutely suggest giving it a try!

    Really good game

I like the game but it needs more like more animals and the graphics are awesome. The reason I gave it four stars is because when I built my house the roofs had to be on the wall. Also the wood planks are kinda annoying. And I got really confused because I know that there is more stuff but I don’t know how to get it like all the stations I don’t know if I have them all. So like and inventory of stuff that you can get. Also digging would be cool like to make the ground level. And shipwrecks would be cool .another thing I would love to see is a kind of sandbox mode where you have everything in the game. I’m also super excited 😆 about multiplayer!!! Can’t wait also can you please make the coins findable in the game like buried treasure. And can you actually be able to stick to the story and find pridam and stufff like mining and electricity just asking love love love the game tho😍😍😍

    Needs more

I like the game a lot but the only reason I gave it a four star is because I want to see my armor like when u put on my clothes it just puts it in the slot and it doesn’t show and I want 3rd person so you can see your person there’s a lot more that is out there cause I’m only level 20 in the game so I don’t know how much there is to the game and like I said I’m only level 20 yes you might think it is a high level it really isn’t and the other islands are just bad the island that you start on looks normal but the other islands are flat they don’t have trees they don’t have animals and they don’t have any grass it is just green that’s why I would stay on the island that you start at and that’s what I want in the next update cause if u don’t put that on that game it will still be a good game it will just be bad a little so do it or it will be a little bit of a bad game

Great game I’m really into it

I really do love this game. I have a few suggestions, some of which should be easy little improvements. You should make the run & crouch buttons active state more obvious, perhaps by darkening the entire button rather than making the little icon appear in bold. I don’t know if the first bow you can make, versus the second bone bow are supposed to have a difference in capability or not. If they do, it needs to be more obvious. And you should make the arrow heads for the arrows an upgradable item. Right now it remains simple wooden arrows even when you upgrade to the bone bow. I was surprised there was no bone arrows of some sort, which is why I mention the arrow heads. You should DEFINITELY put the clothes you make on the person in the equip view. I know this is a bit of a hassle, but it seems a waste to not be able to see your character wearing the clothes you make for him in the equip view since there is no other way you ever would. If you had seasons and some rain it would give a lot more purpose to the shelter. And others have suggested this, it would be fantastic if you had caves to explore. That’s a major one I know, but it would do so much for the game and give the torch a more meaningful existence. Still love the game guys. But I’d love to hear back.

Good Start to a Good Game

I worked with Unity before and to say that this game is created with Unity, I am very impressed by the amount of work and effort to be put in this survival game. However the game lacks some creativity and excitement. The game is off to a good start, but the cycle of eating, sleeping, and getting food is getting a bit old. Even though those are necessities in the game, what I mean is that the game could add more interesting things such as mining, gardening, or exploring the ocean. Add more landscapes such as caves and more varieties of fruit and plants. When I travelled to one of the islands,I noticed that the only difference was the Rhinos. I was expecting new vegetation to be discovered or other discoveries. As for Bugs, the game is very buggy: the map is not really accurate at all and as traveling by boat has a realistic speed, it could move faster in the water. I also wish there were things you could see underwater, as what I expected the game offered due to the advertising. However, granted it’s made in Unity and the game is off the a good start, it’s not bad of a game, just wished before it was published that it had multiplayer. If multiplayer was made first, before all the additions to the game, I think players would be more satisfied and less distracted by the features the game lacks because they won’t be playing alone. I can’t wait to see these improvements!

    Too difficult.

I have played quite a few survival games, and at first I thought I was really going to like this one for the nice graphics and crafting options. However, after just a few hours I gave up in frustration. Food sources are few and far between and there doesn’t seem to be anything you can plant and grow. The animals you are supposed to hunt NEVER stand still, even when you are “crouching,” and following them with the target cursor as they run around frantically is next to impossible. Plus, they are being hunted by other predators which are always delighted to turn on you if their intended prey runs off or gets caught. Between not being able to get enough food and being hunted by alligators that move unreasonably fast on land, all I seem to accomplish is dying, over and over. I don’t mind spending a little money here and there to get some achievements in a good game, but I want to be entertained, not frustrated. When you either add a renewable food source or make it a -little- easier to hunt the prey animals, I’ll be happy to try again. I’m playing on a 2017 iPad with plenty of memory and using a stable and fast home WiFi, so it shouldn’t be this difficult to get some food. Or perhaps add some traps to catch smaller animals or a means to capture and breed/slaughter them....

    Fun but needs some work

It’s a great game, and I’m very impressed with what has been done on the Unity engine. However, the game seems like it’s lacking quite a bit. I’ve seen other people complain about not seeing any oceanic creatures, which is one thing I agree with. It could definitely use more life in the water. But my main concern has to do with the building. When you craft items to make a house, and you go to play them, the game tends to glitch a lot. I have one of the newest phones, so I know it isn’t just my phone. And then when you’re setting a roof up, you’re unable to place anything for roofing unless it’s directly attached to a wall. That’s very tedious. On that same note, the main picture for the game(the one with the massive base), is very unrealistic. That one picture is what had me excited for this game, but I’m pretty disappointed. You don’t have torches that you can place on walls or the ground, you can’t stack the wooden foundations on top of each other, it’s a very long list that I don’t want to spend time talking about. My main point here, is that the game is definitely going great, I just think it’s definitely overdue for some updates.

    Love the game

It is my favorite survival game than zombies. But I will say the animals when you try to kill them is kinda funny but I think it’s just a glitch, because when you attack them on a cliff, they are stuck. Also when you are on other islands the trees you cut down don’t disappear like your main island. Also, it maybe a glitch or just not a update, after you cut down or collect stuff, the shadows stay in the spot. They don’t disappear with the wood and grass you collect, which makes it look like you burned the forest. Not saying it’s bad, but since the last time I played this which was like 2/3 years ago, I wished it was updated. Also a multiplayer you’ve mentioned??? That sounds really cool! I think you should do that, but also add ocean life and lake life in the water like others say. Not to mention you should add birds, ones that can fly. One thing to add. I still love this game even though you haven’t updated it in years, I am addicted to it again. I hope you update this again real soon, it will get more downloads for this game

    What’s next?

I’ve found a couple of glitches. One is fatal to the character. There’s a spot in the ocean that, when kayaking, will knock you out of the kayak but keep you tethered to it for maneuvering purposes. If you don’t logout quickly enough you drown. It’s almost impossible to get to shore because you are so tightly bound to the kayak. How animals can attack through walls is highly annoying, especially stone walls. And the second story floors don’t meet up with the stairs or walls. It’s impossible to delete items like beds or door curtains. And why can’t I use the bed any time I want? The ability to use the bed doesn’t seem to be tied to other factors like need or last use or time of day. I’m at level 40 and feel as if I’m done. There doesn’t seem to be any benefit to leveling up because no new recipes are given. I’ve visited every island and don’t see any benefit to visiting them ever again. Are the other versions worth downloading?

    Good start

If this game is still being designed, then it’s off to a good start. Problems I see- you let us build like 2 minor craftsman tables for wood and rock but then everything has to be built one thing at a time! It should be that you can be making stuff with wood at the wood station, stuff with rock at the rock station, etc. I hate that I have to press my craft button and wait for my fire to be built, then wait for my axes to be built, then my house parts or whatever- that’s why you have work stations!! So you can get a lot done at the same time. I’ll delete the game just because I have built a rock house and there doesn’t seem to be anything else to do- I’m level 54 and nothing new since level like 30. Also- make the building parts easier to put together. Example, I built a house but I couldn’t get the roof to go on the middle! Just along the sides. So annoying! Then, I had to chop down my whole house and start over! WhAt! You should let us take those whole sides, walls, and foundation pieces down to put back up somewhere else. Lions attack 3 or 4 at a time! Omg- it takes like 12 arrows per Lion. Too much time!

    Diminishing returns

When I first started to play this game, I enjoyed it even though I had a hard time figuring out how to get enough food to survive. After I played for a while, I explored all the different islands and realized there is no ultimate goal to the game. You just eat, craft items, avoid being killed by animals over and over. I became really good at hunting, I knew how to easily build shelters, and I had no problem surviving. So I started to play the game from scratch again. It was super easy this time because I knew how to do all the basics already. It also became really boring really quickly. I knew what items not to bother crafting, and I easily killed animals almost from the start. I don’t like that I am not working towards a particular goal, such as figuring out how to get home or solving a mystery of some type. I was also not impressed when whoever runs the game’s Facebook page never answered me about an aspect of the game (not a necessary one but nice to have) that I couldn’t figure out how to use. I got form replies to my messages, and I’ve been waiting more than two weeks for help.

    It has Potential

I was really excited when downloading this game because it looked really cool and almost had a subnautica vibe to it. But unfortunately the game is just subpar. I spent a Food few hours playing it, and there were a few things I could forgive: graphics, not seeing the clothes on my avatar, easy hunting. But the part that was extremely frustrating was how long it took to build anything significant. I went through almost 10 axes and must have cut down half the islands trees, and couldn’t even finish my cabin. The most I could build was my starter hut. So problem one is how long it takes to collect resources. Secondly, even though you can build things like a kitchen, sawmill, or stone cutter, NONE of them can work simultaneously which means I can’t multitask and have to wait for things to finish being made every time before moving on to the next thing. So, really cool idea, but needs A Lot of work. And, I am definitely deleting it until I hear word that the developers are gonna improvements.

    Way too easy

Idk what that guy was talking about he obviously never played a survival game before don’t waste your time chasing after food till you make yourself a weapon climbing on a rock and using a bow supplies endless amount of food. I traveled to two other islands and nothing really on them just a lot of a trees in my opinion this game could be a lot better and is obviously unfinished or given up on by the developers none of the clothes you make will appear on your avatar which is a little bummer that you have to be naked the whole time I got to level 27 before deleting the game it wasn’t interesting me further there was no reason to travel to other islands the main one had the same stuff I was excited reading one of the reviews where the guy said the game was too difficult I love a good challenge but that guy is just a noob at survival games anyone who has played survival games before will run through this game like me I really hope the developers take the money they make off the ads and invest it in improving their game and honestly guys don’t spend any money on this game nothing is worth what they charge unless taking 10 minutes to get the resources is worth paying 20 dollars for
