ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!
Most people complain about playable graphic novels (or in those case comics) but this was done superbly well. The storyline, the characters, the voice acting, the action scenes... every element has been impressive and entertaining. The character development is awesome, the story isn’t predictable at all (fight scenes in episode 2 had me screaming expletives in shock and excitement) and the attention to details like facial expressions, the dialogue, the obstacles encountered - is phenomenal. I can’t say enough about how happy I am with my purchase and I’ve encouraged every gamer or Batman fan I know to download and purchase this. To the developers and everyone involved with this project, I applaud your efforts and thank you for your gripping and dynamic production.
A show/game hasn’t given me so many feeling ever!
I’m really not into games like this usually. I usually prefer more manual action. This game is more like a very well thought out show and during pivotal moments, options appear on the screen and you get to choose where the show is going to go next. All of the options are so different from one another that you understand just how drastic of a change each choice is making. A very gripping story and just enough action vs drama to keep you hooked. I’m super happy and I think I’ll be playing this again and choosing different choices.
Amazing Story
This game is incredible. I think the story doesn’t work quite as well on the Bruce Wayne side of things as it did in the previous game, but it more than makes up for it with the Batman aspect. That being said, the choices you make to shape John Doe’s journey as Bruce Wayne are impactful and still keep things fresh. I also loved the relationship between John and Harley Quinn. The balance of power between the two was completely reversed from what Batman stories always show, and it made her a believable villain. The dialogue worked well too, and all in all this was a great iteration of Telltale’s tried and true formula.
Read this please
Ok so… i had this game over a year and i purchased the five episodes for some reason i erased on accident then installed it again wen i try to purchase the 5 episode back they say that “i already have them would i like it back for free” i press then one more time they say “you’re al set” wen i go to the episodes in EVERY episode wants me to buy it again Thanks for reading this review and can u please fix that i dont want to buy the episodes again if i already have purchased them By the way its a excellent game 5 out of 5
Great game BUT!!!
This is by far one of the best games I ever played period on top of that it is on a mobile platform. The graphic are crazy and story line for chapter one is great. The but it's all good the fact that you have to purchase all the other chapters in order to continue paying the game after you pass chapter one. I don't like that like other players reviews said they rather pay for bonus material, hints, or equipment stuff like that but to continue to play the game is not worth it. On top of that some of us can't afford it.
Ok
It’s the best Batman mobile experience your gonna get the whole story line is really great I even bought the season pack it was so good but I ran into a problem. I played episode 1-4 and it came to a point it said to purchase episode 5 and I swear I’m not lying I went to the store and it said the season pack was purchased. It made me really mad I reset the app moved it somewhere and it still made me purchase the season pack. So I wasted money trying to get episode 2-5 but I didn’t get same stitch. Made me really furious so I go check with my dad to make sure he bought me the season pack and he did it was a waist of $15. But it is a good game and all but come on man I wish I had episode 5 same stitch :(
It’s good But I have a problem
It’s a great game I just hit a BIG roadblock, my purchase of the season pack to get all of the episodes worked then after I downloaded and played through episode 2 I had to go but when I opened it back up It’s gone? And I have restored the purchases but that didn’t work so I decided to buy them individually but then that didn’t work and my game didn’t have the download button and was just blank. I hope the developers see this because I really don’t want to throw my money into something and it then just doesn’t work.
Issue With Getting All 5 Episodes
This is a really great and nicely created game, and I enjoy the storyline and attention to detail a lot. So much that I even decided to purchase the story package for $15. However, after #3 I am unable to play 4 or 5. I would rather not pay for them individually (and judging by some of these other reviews, even paying for that won’t work). Please fix this issue, as it seems like it’s been the issue for others for a while now
Amazing Game; But Major Flaw
I love this game. I really do this review would be 5 stars and i’d be done here but there’s one major problem. I had uninstalled the game because it was taking up a lot of storage. I had made sure to get a TellTale account so that (so I thought) all of my chapters and save files would be saved in the cloud. Boy was I wrong. I re-downloaded the game a couple days back, signed back into my account and what do i find? It’s asking me to buy the season pack again to play episodes 2-5!! I have already bought these seasons back when they were still in pre-order and on my app store it shows this too. The Tell-Tale support email is deactivated so they’re no help and so I need help getting my episodes back. I’m not paying $15 bucks for something I have already purchased.
Good at first BUT THEN ......
Ok first of all I’m a huge Batman fan. The fact that the game gives you a chance to pick the actions of Gotham’s hero is extremely cool. Gives you a chance to make decisions that’ll give both Bruce and Batman a devious reputation or a chance to live up to the reputation. I’m on the fence because I enjoyed the first episode so much I purchased the rest of the saga .....well at the moment it seems like i just got scammed. I’m going to continue to try and install the games because it only says it’s purchased. If in that time the game changes I’ll rewrite my review as of right now extremely disappointed 🤦🏽♂️
Can’t Download
The store page says that you only need 2 Gigs of space to download. I have 4 Gigs left, and it STILL will not Install. The most annoying part is that after it says it is unable to install, it deletes EVERY file it downloaded, forcing you to re-download the ENTIRE thing. Which I am unable to play because it’s apparently over 4 Gigs, twice the advertised size. (EDIT) I was able to download the game after freeing up 6, yes, 6 Gigs. (3 times the store page requirement) As far as the gameplay, it’s amazing, as is every telltale game I have played. I just recommend you change the store page.
Still dissapointed
I just downloaded the update for the the enemy within where it says that there are general fixes but it is still slow and it continues to crash in different parts in the very first episode, I understand this is a hard job and I appreciate the hard work from telltale to try and get these issues resolved fast and it has only been a week so that’s nice but the update did not fix the problems except for it not being as slow, but it’s still moving slow and crashing Just as much, hopefully we can go back to the drawing board and hopefully fix these issues for good because I would really love to ply the first two episodes thanks guys
amazing! But...
This game is amazing and the story is great too! The quick time events make you FEEL like Batman! Although I’ve run into a very large problem, I bought the season pass so that I could get all the episodes without buying them individually and also to save $5, I downloaded and installed the 2nd episode and played it with no problem, but when I went to download and install the 3rd episode when all of the sudden it acting like I payed for nothing! And I know that I did pay for the season pass and not just one episode, despite everything I’ve done nothing is working, so I wasted $15 and the most I can do is write this review.
Doesn’t fit iPad screen
If you are making multi-platform games, then you should be targeting the screen sizes known to be used on those platforms. Sure Telltale’s first games were ports never intended for 4:3 screens, but at this point there is no excuse. Just to reiterate after the developer response. This game was created to only fit 16:9 screens despite Telltale knowing full well that it would be released on a plethora of platforms including mobile. Mobile phone manufacturers are not only pushing out a bunch of high end 18:9 screens but also have plenty of devices that use 4:3 screens. Not targeting these highly popular screen sizes shows a lack of polish to the game, and a lazy dev team that use an outdated and unwieldy engine. Why in the world should anyone pay the high price asked for this games when it doesn’t fit properly on their screen? Please stop releasing lazy ports and start developing properly for the whole range of devices you plan to sell your wares on.
