    Getting Better

I’ve been playing this game for about 3 months now, and it’s pretty good. As far as free games go, it doesn’t shove ads down your throat, and also doesn’t prompt you to watch ads in exchange for currency or items, which is nice. They do pitch you a ship for a day or two every week or so in a bundle with their in-game purchasable currency, but other than that, it’s fairly lax. I have rarely run out of sailors (the ‘resource’ that lets you send out ships and restocks itself over time), which is nice if you’re tired of free games that push you into buying energy to continue playing for extended periods of time. It can be as time intensive as you want, with short “more-profitable” voyages with short voyage times like 3-15 minutes, and others destinations varying from 2-8 hours, as well as little bonus to collect at your harbor if you want to wait for ships to get back. Don’t get me wrong, the game had quirks (like the mobile version requiring you to collect a few barrels in the harbor to “save your progress” because mobile lacks a save feature and will sometimes not register your ships leaving if you send them and immediately close the game), but the content they roll out is neat, events keep you playing, and they’re balancing and tweaking things regularly to keep it fun. I hope lots of great content is still in store, and the game just keeps getting better.

    Relaxing Ship Fun!

I have played thousands of games on my iPhone and I must say this game has a lot of potential , I think this game just needs more content (pirate attacks , more missions , escorting other ships , more player interface , global chat , and more cooler ships , which I know more will be put in hopefully ). When I downloaded this game I thought it would be more like a modern transport game with modern cargo ships but I was fooled by the app icon and think it needs to be changed . Graphic wise the game is awesome , the flawless interface is very easy to navigate , the tutorial is not complicated which means it doesn’t give you that lost feeling in most ship games I played, Game loading time works well with my iPhone 7 Plus . The game currency is not a challenge to get its fairly easy to get gems to get those better ships with good stats so I don’t feel forced to buy gems to get ahead in this game and the actual progression (leveling up)is fairly easy , the offers are pretty fair and it’s priced at a reasonable amount which anyone can afford , like I mention earlier the game just needs more mission based content and I think it would be very successful in the future .. Please keep updates going I really do enjoy playing this game, Thanks!

    3 Issues, but overall great

I think that this game is pretty good, there are only three issues that I can think of. The first one is the fact that I can’t get the game to start sometimes, what happens is if you load into the game with your phone sideways it basically freezes the game on the start loading screen which then it requires a full restart of the game. The second thing is the ships, due to the sheer number of different ships in this game it gets confusing quick on what are good for a certain tasks and if a ship is better or not of another ship. Some ships are good for sailors and others are good at cargo, but in the ship menu it is just a cluster of hoping that you can find the best ship. The third issue is something that is really just a nuisance and that is resources, I don’t know if it’s supposed to take forever to get resources, but if I run out it takes forever to get enough back to finish a quest or to upgrade a ship. If I were to recommend something it would to have the option to buy some resources by gems or gold so you wouldn’t have to wait so long. In my game I barely have any wood, but I have a ton of gold just sitting there and I can’t do anything with it.

    Finally Found it!

I have been looking for a game like this for quite a while and here it is! I always have wanted a game where you gather materials and trade them with other players or NpCs or whatever. There was “The Trail” but that game was slow but intense at the same time. This game allows me to sit back and have fun! The only thing I don’t like about this game, is opening it up. If you are a potential downloaded right now, don’t be discouraged from the black screen upon initial opening, just wait for it to load and everything will be alright😅👍 Now, potential developer(s), one thing I’d like to be added is a way of grouping ships. Kinda like a fleet, and all the ships in the group go to the same place. But here’s the catch, the ships in the group all get a 2x or 1.5x bonus when they sail together rather than separate. Thank you so much for making this game and I look forward to future updates and events👍🤙👌😃😆

Not sure why it’s rated so low

I’ve played a lot of mobile games and games like this are hard to find. Seeing that it was rated 4.4 stars when I got it I was expecting it to be riddled with adds or have generally un-exciting gameplay. Complete opposite. The game doesn’t have intrusive adds and like many games, uses promotional offers to help you advance through the game quicker which you can do if you’d like. The ships that require gems aren’t necessary to advance, they only really help you to advance faster. There’s no real reason to buy them from the shop from what I’ve seen since the ships they offer in their deals are a lower gem cost and better than the ones in the shop. I am only at level 20 (the last ship is unlocked at level 665) so I haven’t played the game for all that long but as of now it’s easy to progress but interesting, and very enjoyable, would recommend.

    Cheaper/more in gem offers

I love this game. It is easily my favorite game of this kind. I love how easy it is to progress and doesn’t require a ton of work for one simple upgrade. I also love that the +500 carry weight captain is very common (I use it with my titanic to get good amounts of resources). I even like the quests that you send your ships on. But my one problem is that gems are easy to get but it takes a while so when a really awesome ship comes into the harbor and I can buy it I get frustrated because it’s not too far out of price range but I can’t by a small .99$ pack of gems to buy it. I feel like your packs should be smaller than the smallest one costing 10$. Please add cheaper packs and maybe some good deals but don’t make them really in your face. I love what your doing with the game and all the special events and i hope you will regard my suggestion. (Keep up the good work)

Great Game! Not a pay to play.

This game is my favorite right now, I feel like the creators really understand users and don’t pressure you to buy anything and there are no ad’s! One thing I would change is an easier way to select ships at port, right now you can only select 3 ships and I have 12, you don’t get to pick, you have to send out the other ships to get to the ship your looking for because it’s waiting for you to send out one. They come back In order based on time they left, so if I send them out before bed on a long trip when I wake up I have to cycle through all the other ships just to use my main fleet. Other than that this game is great!! Thank you so much. I’ll even spend money on this game because it’s not a pay to play, it’s actually fun to play without paying!

Great Game - Needs a Fix

This game has many pros in terms of not having to worry about being attacked every night by enemy players (such as with other games) and it doesn’t throw the fact of buying gems (micro transactions) in your face to accomplish anything. It gives plenty of time to knock out goals/events. Plus the bonus of rarely running out of main resources to play. (Energy, etc) It does have a drawback which is starting to get rather annoying. If you do not leave the game open or do some weird task (collect a barrel) it has a possibility of rolling back your last few actions. An example being, I’m working on an event I ignored till the last minute. So I’m checking back every hour. Several times the ships I send off are still sitting there waiting to be sent off as if I never did anything with them. Meaning a technically lost an hour. I’m not fully closing the app, just letting it run in the background. I’m hoping the developers have some fix in the works for this.

    More interactive

I thoroughly enjoy this game, possibly because im a sailor. Its fun and interactive but i downloaded this after seeing the app commercial. It made it look like you were able to steer the ship into port and through ice and peril. I feel like this game would be so much more fun if it was more interactive, such as a steering mode where you could actually pilot one of the ships on a trip and deal with ship issues. Another thing that would be cool is if you could explore the islands and choose which shape and size of island you want so you could move the pier or build around obstacles or something. Also potentially a massive storm that comes through that you must prepare for. Cause that stuff happens all the time. Just suggestion, wont stop playing but those updates would be fun.

    Daunting, slow, and no reasons

It’s free. Great! Here’s the issue. At about level five after you figure out that fish mean everything and without them your waiting every ten min to log on and recollect resources. Why not make an option where fishing boats have different timers. Like if I’m at work for 8 hours have a 8 hour fishing collect option. I’m not logging on every 10 min. Another issue. Buildings when upgraded cost so much and don’t progress you far. It feels slow, daunting, and no real reason to keep the grind going. I’m level 27 (town hall lvl 5) after 1 week and I’m starting to see a grind factor as far as new ships, and building upgrades. But what’s the point now? The games ship levels cap at 360. That’s insane! And the town hall lvl caps at 13 Your physical level doesn’t mean a lot besides holding your progression to continue a boring grind. . Give players a reason to log on and play besides clicking a fish pool that resets. And don’t get me started on the lack of building space. They could have done so much with the area.

Recent changes ruin a good game

I used to love this game, now I’m considering deleting it. This might sound like an odd complaint, but there are too many events. There’s literally always an event going on. I’ve gotten tired of continually having to explore areas I’ve already cleared multiple times. The Halloween event took the cake in this regard. I’m a casual player, and when I finally finished Ursula’s tenth mission cycle on the last day of the event, I figured I had just squeaked in. Imagine my dismay when I learned that I wasn’t done. Had I known what would be required to finish, I never would have wasted my time. As for expeditions, in my opinion there is nothing enjoyable about them. That’s fine, I would generally just skip them. Now, I can’t upgrade my ships to the new sixth and seventh levels unless I participate in the worst part of the game. Please give us an alternate path to those upgrades.

    Waste of time

This games is a pointless mind numbing grind. If that’s your thing go for it. I kept at it till I reached level 124 before deciding that I had had enough. I don’t know why I kept at it for as long as I did. Save yourself, find something better. It’s positives, graphics are nice. I never had an issue logging in, or freezing up. It’s negatives, as far as logistics go as a shipping company it would fail. You can only pick up or deliver with your ship. The one exception is the market which in reality every port shop be like this! You cannot create trade routes for your ships to do it themselves. It’s the same commodities over and over again. Please, just shoot me. The game also doesn’t keep up with how well you’re doing, for example: I spent some time satisfying the needs of one of the historical characters in the game. When done he awarded me a ship that was less than capable of ALL my ships currently in use. Even the lowest ships that I had pulled from service. The only thing I could do with it was to waste my resources to upgrade it and then put it into the museum where it’ll help make a paltry amount of income. Similar things also happened making what the game considers rewards more of a penalty rather than a bonus.

    Horrible

Got the game to try, and hopefully enjoy enough to play. Unfortunately they were not ready as it took several tries to simply load game up, then was doing first task and said check internet, my internet was perfectly fine. Then started back up and redid first task was about to do second task when an error supposedly occurred. Do not even bother as they didn’t even bother to really check there systems overall operations, the fact that Apple supposedly endorsed as a good game is also a bunch of trash. Maybe once they get the system corrected and you are able to play maybe then game deserves a chance, as it is this is total trash and quite frankly an embarrassment. If Apple people truly did play game then they should be ashamed to endorse this garbage as it was not even ready for public play. To give it a one star wasn’t even my intention as it was only 2-3 minutes of playing and 10 minutes of reload issues and so called internet problems. May possibly try again later but if run into load time of more than a minute most likely will just give it up as hopeless cause. Looked good what I seen but not enough to endorse in any way, fix issues and may have good game, until then farewell to this letdown of a game.

    Bad Customer Service

At the beginning of the Black Friday sale it turns out they had the bonuses on your purchase marked wrong. I did not know that it was wrong and made a purchase, I did not get the advertised bonus gems. So I contacted the developer and was told they had a mistake in the display of the bonuses. They said if I wanted a refund to let them know, I contacted them twice and told them I would like a refund because I would have not made the purchase had I known the issue on their end. No response so I had to contact Apple. The next day the developer tells me that they can’t issue a refund even though they told me to contact them if I wanted one. They told me to contact Apple which I had already done. I emailed them back telling them about my issue of how they handled this. Not surprised that they did not respond because they clearly don’t care about the players, just that you spend money in the game. Beware of this developers games because they don’t double check their work but it’s not their fault it’s the customers.
