Don’t deposit money until glitches are fixed.

This is a great game and it’s fun to play or you can win just a little bit of money. But lately every game I’ve played crashes and I lose the $.60. $.60 alone isn’t a big deal but when you play 10 times and you lose six dollars and that can turn into a big chunk of money. I reported the crashes and they gave me $.60 back. But I just want you to be aware that you should maybe only play for fun right now so you’re not losing money. Every time the game crashes you automatically lose it seems. Hope this helps. And I hope they get the game working again soon. This was written April 2, 2021

I have been waiting for a game like this!

I have been waiting for Skillz to have a game like Boggle. I love competing and for cash, I have been at these sites and apps for years. The only complain I have is the leaderboards for events. Because of my skill level I am constantly waiting for opponents. It doesn’t make it possible for me to place very high on the leaderboard if I cannot play as many games. I am hoping that when more people start playing, that problem will be fixed. I really hope this game sticks around sad it is the only one like it where you can compete with others for real cash!

    Might as well play

I’m the type of person who likes to have my phone on hand almost all the time. I like playing games. This app lets me win money. So far it’s good. It’s very addicting. You get to chat with other people/make friends and what not. If you want to earn faster, you gotta deposit I think at least $10. It’s worth it if you’re good at it. I haven’t had the chance to withdraw some money, so idk how the transaction will be (meaning if there will be any problems etc.—but hopefully there won’t be). For now, this app deserves my 5 stars!

    Lovin it❤️😍

Love the Skillz games!! My only thing is like cube solitaire u can pause the game and the time pauses too cause u have an hour to submit your score. But in this word cube one u can pause it but the time doesn’t pause. Other than that I love the word race ,solitaire cube and the cube cube block games. They should make more trophy awards that pay out cash also, there’s a couple but they are Hard to get, but a few more would make it Awesome!! Thanks for the Awesome Games!! 😍❤️💕😍

    Boggles my mind :P

Why hasn’t this been released sooner?! It’s my perfect game:))) I love how it takes boggle to the next level by adding stakes. If you don’t want to deposit real money you can still play with dollars you’re awarded from achievements in the practice rounds, allowing you to win actual cash without risk!! The tournaments are really fun. I only wish there could be more levels with higher stakes like there are in cube cube. PLEASE PEOPLE DOWNLOAD THIS GAME AND WE CAN MAKE THIS THE BIGGEST AND BEST BOGGLE GAMBLING THING EVER

    Love love love

The only problem I can see with this game is that we need more competition.....lots of games, i havent deposited any of my funds, but am still playing cash games with my prizes and winnings....i realize i cant cash out with that, but that is fine...i probably will deposit cash, since ive been playing for 2 months and still have prize cash which started with only a dollar.

    Fun

I love playing. Keeps my mind active. Love your others games too. I think the winnings should be reworded because you don’t actually win the amount it says. For example, it says you win $1 but it’s 60 cents to play. So you essentially only win 40 cents and get your fee back. Also, if you win a couple, you’ll lose a lot. Just like real gambling. So, I play for fun.

    Love this game.

I absolutely love this game. I use to play Yahoo’s Word Racer all the time back in the day, but when yahoo games got rid of their game page... this game vanished. Word Race is one of the best substitutes I’ve found. It’s great, full of challenges, allows you to level up and keep getting better. By far, one of the best word games.

Fun but can lose money to crashes

The game is fun but if you start a game and the app suddenly crashes, you will lose 100% of the time, regardless of how many points you’ve already gotten up until that happened or even if no opponent has been found yet. You can’t cancel the match, you can’t continue the match even if you reopen the app immediately, and you don’t even get to submit whatever points you got before the crash, you just automatically lose. This has only happened on real money matches, not the practice matches, but I was using the free money they gave as achievements and didn’t deposit my own so it could have been worse. But it has happened a lot of times and is really annoying.

    Game crashes, other than that...

I just started playing and really enjoy it, but I’ve already experienced the game just glitching and crashing mid-game. I wouldn’t mind it so much except for the fact that it conveniently did it during my first tournament games with a $3 buy-in. I’ll continue playing, but may stop real money games if this keeps happening. The good news is that even if you don’t pay to play, you’re not limited to ‘x’ number of games before you have to buy something to let you play again. I will probably play this for a good time to come and not feel guilty in the process.

Some strange going on in here

It’s a fun game for sure...but it’s a bit strange that out of thousands of players ... probably much more than that...I only see the same two or three people. Also, when I start to get over 10$, suddenly those people with no real face and weird names get wayyyyy smarter. Computer generated? Probably. If u are serious about playing for money, lose the seriousness. Don’t quit your day job. Only play with what they give you for free. Don’t deposit any money. Read the reviews about people who have had nightmares with deposits not showing up. Just plat to have fun. And you will.

Awesome except for a killer issue

Great implementation of a boggle-type game. I love the list of words at the end where you can quickly see what you missed. Strange dictionary they use as it does not have many words and has many words I consider not words. But that is no problem. What I don’t like is that there is no penalty for guessing. As a result many of the best players have made an art of trying every combination at super high speeds. Until there is a penalty for guessing I wont play for cash.

    Awesome...educational

Boggle is a family favorite and so you better believe this is my go to when family is not around. I love you can practice and still earn non monetary points. A personal dislike of mine is that often they find me a opponent and my standings are not immediately available at the end of the game which I believe should be available as time has run out. How do they find that opponent and “I wonder do they choose one with a better score so as I will lose?” Get what I’m saying. That is my only hang up.. which on occasion makes me choose to practice versus risking to win my money back. Thank you Skillz! Oh and I wish you could play your money on any skillz game versus having to deposit for each different one. A money scheme that is needed I guess for them.

Scoring difference between practice and pro

Not sure if this is a bug or intentional—I spent a lot of time playing practice tournaments for this game before switching to the pro tournaments. On the practice tournaments, the word length bonus increases by 10x a power of 2 for each letter over 3 letters (+10, 20, 40, 80, and so on). So I trained myself to focus on getting those 160+ point bonuses from longer words. But in the pro tournaments, the word length bonus only increases by 10 for each letter, so an 8-letter word would only get a 50 point bonus, not a 160 point bonus. This changes the dynamic of the game entirely
