Fun game but the base/Crafting area is not worth it!
I’ve gotten to 221 on the level befriended many animals, gotten my hero up to 301 & been back to base only once maybe twice learned that everything resets besides what you craft -_- don’t buy any in apps for coins that resets too I am unsure about diamonds but levels, pets coins rest and u go back to square one. The items you craft are not worth going back. Otherwise great game I can’t call it craft it away it’s more like Runaway I do more running through levels & no longer go to base waste I’m not sure what the Devs we’re thinking! Do not buy in apps! Especially if you plan to do a base trip you will lose your coins & possibly others.
Good Game, Auto Progression?
I’ve been active trying to get farther and farther, but if I’m already at level 1000+ I shouldn’t restart at level 1 from base amp, either that or auto progression should be able to make my monsters go into the 500+ automatically when I’m not on the game. The game itself is fabulous, and I love it a lot. But I can’t keep my phone on 24/7 wanting to progress like that. Either I suggest allowing higher level players start at a percent of their max every time they restart (if I’m at level 200, you start at 20, but if I’m at level 1000, I should start at around 200+)... that’s all.
Meh....
I have 5 Stars despite the fact that I personally have no interest in playing it again and I’m going to uninstall it, however I don’t want my dissuade anybody from trying because I can see the appeal of the game and why a lot of people might enjoy it. It’s simple, you get things as you progress, you get to collect things, levels are short enough to be completed while your waiting for something... it has everything a mobile game should have.... but I like games that allow me to build things, and considering the name of the game I assumed that’s what this was
I love it so much
I love this game so much, I h e only playing this game for only 1 day and I am already loving it so much, I also play other idle games, like idle drop if I got the name right, please keep on making idle games, it is awesome! Good job making this game, I hope other people would in joy the game as much as I do. Like I said please pretty please make more games, I really like the idle games you made, I enjoy your games the most of all the games you made.
Other idle game devs take notes
Unlike many other idle games which are either tap until auto generated or set off a time until you gain a profit (Adventure Capitalist). This game feel much more involved the combination of swiping for the player, and the damage values not being based on per second but on damage per hit to many individual blocks makes this game much more fun than other idle games.
Great game, but a few suggestions
First of all, I love this game. It’s got smooth animations and friendly creatures to help you take on the slime. With this being said, there’s a few changes I’d like to see being made to the game. For starters, after you prestige from a high stage (let’s say 300). It’s nearly impossible to get anywhere near back 300 within a few hours of playing. I’d like to see a percent bonus damage towards the highest stage you were at the last time you prestiged, but the bonus wouldn’t apply to slimes. Just to help players get closer to where they were and be able to prestige and be more motivated to play more often. Secondly, could you please add a warning to the first time you return to camp that it will reset your progress. Because I know the first time I did I was very confused as to why I was at the beginning again and I feel as if this would be better for newer players to the idle genre. A few more ideas I wont get into depth about are Low Detail Mode (battery does die quite fast), customizable character/hammer, and change in the way spells work. Thanks so much for reading my review. If any of you are looking for the next idle game to start up, I highly recommend this one. PS: If any of these suggestions are implemented or at least responded to, whether that be to explain why they can’t be, etc., then I’ll happily change my rating to five stars.
Honestly very fun!
I downloaded this game because it was a featured game & I'm pretty impressed, honestly. The game itself is very nice-looking, it’s got a lot of the usual elements of a tap/clicker game with enough new stuff thrown in to keep it different. As some other people said, it does have the “start from the beginning with perks” element that a ton of clicker games have so if you don’t like that, I wouldn’t download it. You get to a point very quickly where you can’t easily continue to pass the levels without grinding, if you try to avoid resetting. One good things though is it does save any progress you’ve made toward “evolving” your companions, although you don’t save their actual levels, so after a few resets you should have some nice bonuses along with the items you craft for bonuses. I’m really excited to see what later levels have in this game & what all you can craft. My one criticism though is this game just eats at my battery life. I pretty much can’t play it before bed because if I do, I have to throw my phone on the charger afterward or risk waking up with a low battery.
Wait. . . I think I missed a turn or something
So, I’ve enjoyed this game quite a bit and I’ve made it pretty high up there in levels, far enough that there were no more companions to free or anything else. Just the same endless loop of places with varying amounts of materials/blocks. I’ve managed to create all of the base camp buildings and have made a nice dent in the others but if even by level 600 I have to start completely over and continue to look at the same old screens over and over I don’t know how much more fun I can actually have at it. I guess I was expecting it to be somewhat different due to the description on it. I’d say try this game out for sure, because it’s definitely fun, but don’t go by what’s written about it, it’s pretty misleading.
Great game but some things need to change
This game is very fun and addicting. But on saying that I would like to say that I don’t understand why we have to loose all of my progress after going back to my base camp. I worked hard on this game and then it put me back to world 1. I would like to see that I still have my progress (except my blocks) when I come back from my base camp. Although there needs to be some changes I still think this is a great game and I encourage others to play this game. Thanks for reading review. P.S. If there is any reason why you can’t fix this please respond and I will gladly turn my rating to 5 stars but until then I am sticking with a four.
Really enjoy it except...
It's not an Idle game as advertised. You have to be extremely active to progress in the game so for that reason I don't think I will play much more. If the game progressed automatically I'd be more inclined to play. Also the game is HEAVILY advertised. Would love to see a way to make the ads go away. Would gladly support this game more if the above problems are addressed. The positive, I love the art style and the companions. It's a fun game just doesn't fit into the idle genre (also would love to see more locales.) Edit: Good to hear! I understand I don't have to watch ads but I'd prefer to pay 10-20 dollars and reap the awesome rewards without watching the same 5 ads. Updated score because of your reply I'll probably give it 5 stars once the auto progression update comes out. Guess I'll keep playing occasionally so I'm not too behind when that day comes.
DO NOT PRESTIGE
The bonuses for prestiging or "returning to base" is not worth the trouble. I prestiged the first time because the game told me to so I did (i was under level 100) and I advanced real fast up to level 30 before it being 'hard' again. So 2nd time round I waited till I am level 200 or so before prestiging and it only let me advanced real fast till lvl 40 before it gets 'hard'!! Like seriously? A difference of only 10 levels??? Totally not worth the time to prestige. Now im on level 400+ and have zero intentions to prestige. The characters are cute and I like how each time I return to game and watch an ad to x2 my coins that i can zoom pass 10-30 levels easily. I also like how you get benefits when you watch ads and it doesnt force you to if you dont want to. It will be nice if you prestige and the animals stay with you. What is so hard about bringing the animals back to base if I can lug thousands of resources in my bottomless bagpack hahaha Anyway it would be nice to have power ups for the hammer like maybe every 5mins we get a free explosive damage instead of having to use tnts which costs. It would be nice to reward people who stay in the game for long periods of time.
Fun but could use improvement
First, the time wasted having to manually click every 5 levels and the nightmare waiting for every 10 levels especially if you’ve used a power up means you’re wasting time. There should be an option to auto continue without animation. Second, the gambling system that operates like a whammy game makes me wonder why put it in at all besides making people spend premium currency. Never punish your players for playing the game. Third, it gets supper repetitive having to wait to get to your previous level due to the sheep only getting you so far. Is there a way to implement save points into the unlocking mechanism?
Amazingly boring - nice design though
Gameplay is swipe the screen, block break, slowly unlock auto-mining companion animals. Upgrade animals & yourself. And it doesn’t get much more interesting than that. Played to level 40 was bored the whole time. Upside of the game is nice looking scenes (vaguely Minecraft), sounds aren’t too irritating, dull gameplay is comfortably non-challenging (if that’s your thing). Downside is the lack of variety in gameplay. BITCOIN BILLIONAIRE at least had some humor. Other games of this genre tend to have better “scaling curves” in regards to upgrading “widget finding”. Playing longer unlocks story plot points or something of variety options. Only real bonus of this game is the general lack of Clock Hostage nonsense where you are forced to wait for hours before gameplay continues. Ads are generally non-intrusive and voluntary to watch for temporary play difficultly reductions. You’ve got an inkling of a good game here, it just needs some more “plot unfolding” aspects. A story or character costume changes or something which encourages the player to maintain interest to keep playing.
Crafted items need balance
In most idle games, there is some sort of benefit to resetting. It makes future progression easier and helps you return fairly quickly to the level you were at before resetting. This balance is missing in this game. I love the crafting aspect, but the items you craft are essentially worthless and do nothing to progress you in the game. I have to grind through 150 levels to get enough jelly to craft an item that increases damage by 100%. So what? I level a companion 10 times and get the same boost. What's the point of ever resetting? And without decent crafting, there's no motivation for me to play this came over other clickers.
