Fun but frustrating
This is a fun game to practice with when you’re not playing in Vegas. However, it is somewhat frustrating to play due to the fact that it’s a video game - there are some inconsistencies that are annoying, and you don’t get to see the hands of the people that are also playing. I do enjoy the leveling up and how many opportunities there are to win extra chips without having to pay for them. Overall glad I downloaded it.
So so, but 5 stars
I love the fact that it's a clean screen and fair quality, my only true complaint is I cannot practice counting cards because the shuffle happens so often and the dealer advantage is way too high. Basic strategy feels like it's out the window, but as a blackjack card game it's not the worst, just please don't spend actual money. It's more then a scam!! Worse then a casino! You won't win it back!
Good blackjack game... but they want your money
I've been playing for over a year, and (just like a real casino) it's geared toward you spending money. However, you can learn how to use the side games to recover losses. The slot machine, the dice game, the ads, the tournaments, plus the daily, weekly, and monthly challenges, are all equally great ways to earn chips without paying cash. At times I've gone as high as $160,000 without spending a real cent. So, it's a fair game, although in the end, as with a casino, if you play too long, no matter the laws of statistics, you will lose everything. This inevitability lost them one star. What earned them four stars was the upgrade. I'm pleased with the lobby aesthetics's, the the dealers speed, to the new style of tournaments. Definitely worth spending pizza money; but not more than that.
Good app
Wish there were other options for getting chips though. So update to my initial review. For some reason my app kept force closing all of a sudden so I uninstalled and reinstalled and even though I signed back into my Facebook all my achievement's are gone, I'm back at level 1, I was also at diamond VIP and now I'm back to the beginning. Any way for the developer to figure this out? Kinda makes it pointless to spend money is the app can't track my history after uninstalling and reinstalling. Ive spent plenty of money in this app so I'm sure it won't be hard to confirm my claims!!
My new favorite game
I love playing the games in this app. However, I seem to have encountered a minor issue or a bug. Only when playing Texas Hold Em, the game lags. I have full cell service and WiFi as well. If I try to check or bet on my hand, it doesn’t recognize it at all and let’s the timer run out which automatically causes me to fold my hand. It’s very frustrating. The app has even started crashing. I have restarted my phone which may have slightly helped for literally one minute, but then it continued doing the same thing again. Help!!
Needs a bit more customization
I really like the animations and look of the cards and the overall gameplay. However, I think it needs more customization abilities, like the ability to turn off the automatic card count, the ability to reset statistics, and the ability to turn off the auto-21 feature. I want this to feel like I’m at real blackjack table and the dealer won’t keep count of your cards for you or tell you when to stand. If this game would add that, I could give it a five star rating.
Seems ok needs a few bugs fixed though.
I like this game. The RNG seems to be good, there is some of both wining and losing streaks just like real life. The best way I can explain it, they are using a continuous shuffler, so base your basic strategy off that. My biggest issue with this game is the fact that the dealer doesn’t check for blackjack when they have a ten showing. This is a fundamental part of blackjack that they seem to have overlooked. This is definitely a pay to play game but you can get around that with all of the free chips you get from your tickets. Overall it’s a good game just wish they would check for blackjack with a ten showing.
Blackjack is rigged, Texas hold ‘em fair and fun.
The actual blackjack portion of this app is pure crap. The game is setup to make you lose an in-proportionate amount in an effort to get you to purchase chips with real world currency. The tournament portion of blackjack is really unfair, in a competition against three other players you play against different dealers rather than one dealer, which seems unfair, typical to the games M.O. the dealer will regularly draw three blackjacks in a row during tournament play. The blackjack portion of the game is honestly unplayable. The reason for two stars is that the Texas hold ‘em portion of the game is fair and actually rather fun. I would only recommend this game for the Texas Hold em portion.
Not fair
I’ve been playing this game for a couple weeks now without spending money on it. Seems like every time I bet majority of my chips I ALWAYS lose. Plus there are so many advertisements it’s not even worth playing. Dealer definitely has the advantage. Game is a scam to force people to spend real money or watch ads the whole time. Updated review: it also seems like the more you watch videos for chips the more the game cheats. When I bet something risky I lose 90% of the time. Like how is it possible the dealer hits a blackjack twice in a row then makes it to 21 right after (and yes I was betting high) The mini games are a scam too. They’ll do whatever to get you to 0 coins so you have to spend money. Deleted once and for all. Whoever made the game should really do a better job on making it fair. More people would continue to pay and spend money. Sucky game overall
SCAM
The Blackjack tournament I joined required a buy in of 10k chips I was on my last try to pass it and as it got closer to the end of the 6 round I received a pop up message in the game saying network error “retry” to connect or “close”. I quickly checked my wifi connection and everything was running smoothly. So I continued to spam the “retry” button for about a min straight & got nothing so eventually closed it. As I went back I was asked to pay a $1.99 to retry or relegate back to the previous level tournament. I had the exact same issue at the Paris tournament right after in all they scammed me for 12k chips. I had a gut feeling it was set up because I had no issue with my home wifi. All they want is your money so they will take your chips so you can end up purchase the chips pack to save your progress. Take your enjoyment of playing blackjack elsewhere.
Update rigged the game
So before the latest update, it felt like the game was somewhat fair, however after the update, the game is nearly impossible as it is now blatantly obvious that the game is rigged. To test this, at different times during the day, I would play at least 20 hands and keep track of cards the ai gets off the draw. It was amusing to find out the more ‘chips’ are on the table, the worse the game plays. On average out of a twenty hand session, the ai received double royalty 10.5 times and would average around a 2.7 blackjack rate. OUT OF TWENTY while on the other hand after the update it is rare I MEAN RARE for the ai to bust. Usually you will get the game going through hoops to keep itself under 21, even if it means drawing 3-4 aces. It’s honestly by a fairness standpoint, unplayable after the update.
Ok if you want to spend endless real cash
Not fun unless you're willing to continuously spend real money. Why would anyone ever want to do that to only win and lose fake chips??? If you stop spending real money you're basically playing a game that is ridden with so many ads that you're barely ever really playing the game. This by far has the most ads and videos of any other game I've played here. I'm not going to spend 80% of my time watching useless ads for things I'll never buy so that I can play the other 20% of my time. How dumb do you think we are?? Charge everyone ONE TIME to buy the game and let us play! Of course that's not profitable enough anymore for the game makers. Deleting now after trying this for a month... Too bad. It's actually a good game.
Tournament broken
Game is true to odds. Random is indeed random. People complaining about the game not being fair have not played enough real hands...you do have tail or black swan events happen more often than you’d think. Reason for low rating is the tournaments are broken. Keeps closing server connection. Very frustrating. UPDATE: game still broken. Also, constantly times out when playing hold’em causing you to auto fold hands and lose tons of money...strangely it only times out when I have good hands and lots of money on the line...also all the players are bots as far as I can tell. Even if they show a picture, they are all around the same number of hands, win rate, and stats. Uninstalling.
THE ODDS ARE NEVER IN YOUR FAVOR
I have been playing this game for over a week now. Since I have been playing the odds are never in my favor. I believe that this digital version of blackjack has the cards to their benefit. Every time I have 20, they have 21 or if I have 18 the dealer has 19. They rig the game so you go broke so you eventually have to purchase coins with real money. I am to the point where I believe they rig the game to go broke so that you have to make a purchase with real money. I have never had this bad of luck at the casinos in real life. Let people win money, instead of taking theirs. This is supposed to be a fun game to pass time. Instead it give me a headache.
