Even though I usually get very *board*, very quickly, with simple games like Board Kings, I can’t seem to put it down! It’s cute design, complete with little buildings, scenery, and, of course, adorable bunny citizens, creates a calming atmosphere while offering an excitement analogous to gambling when the player casts the die. While leveling up within your own board is the main goal, there is a multiplayer feature in the game called the Train, which allows the player to steal from others and see what your board can become in later levels. The experience is oddly humbling, and festers a sense of community in the game. The only real criticism I have for Board Kings is that the board does not offer much customization early on, which tends to bother me to the point of quitting a mobile game. However, I’ve fallen in love with the game’s 3D style so deeply, that I can’t bring myself to lower my rating. Overall, the subtle details within the game, like the placement of shadows and the cartoonish, yet intricate, movements of things such as bunnies, the die, and even the serene motions of the trees, create a lovable game where I am happy to escape the real world to watch a tiny mayor give a speech to bunny paparazzi.

I had enjoyed this game quite a bit and easily spent a few hundred over a few months of playing. Don’t ever expect to win challenges without spending money. I worked really hard to complete my album coming down to 3 missing stickers on the last day. No way to finish it with out spending money so I ended up dropping about $70 to get bonus stickers, Rolls Multiplier & Rolls of course. I’d had good luck days before but suddenly my play was producing no stickers while moving around the board using a 10x multiplier which had earned me multiple new stickers the day before. Before long, it was clear the game was broken. On the last 24 hours of the challenge. Emailed support. They ended up extending game play an additional 24 hours for everyone and gave me the missing sticker packs (with no missing stickers) I would have got with my purchase but did not give me back wasted rolls and multiplier despite emailing support, they ignored the request. I refused to spend more money. Because they refused to do right by my purchases I removed the game from my phone and will never play again. Too bad they lost a player that spends $80 to $100 a month easily. Bad customer service!

I enjoy this game as it reminds me of the popular classic game we all know and love. The first thing I do when I’m half awake in the morning is check my game. It’s gotten so addictive that I’ve had to make some purchases because I just couldn’t turn the game off! I do lots of reviews but never really review games. I just had to share my love of this game and I hope my suggestions are taken into consideration to help make the game even more fun for everyone else. A big one I think could help is when asking questions and tagging a friend just have a link for a certain amount of time or clicks. Another big one would be to have friends help protect your board as well as give daily prizes. I had the maximum amount of friends and wasn’t fun to be attacked by friends. We could all be more beneficial if we help one another. Also, why not have auto throw of the dice just we we get in the mini boss games as well as purchasing a variety of juice packs? Making mini purchases for me in multiple transactions is more appealing to me than to spend $29-$49 at a time with other things I didn’t want to purchase. Just some thoughts! I like this game a lot, I think it is fun and I have had it for at least a year. I’m not the most consistent player, sometimes I’ll leave it alone for a couple weeks and come back to it. But the constant popups about events and sales when you first come on is SO annoying I just spam tapping the corner the X is usually on by instinct. To be frank, if I wanted to know about a sale, I’d just appreciate if the “Store” page had an exclamation point on it or something on the main menu. Or if an event is going on, maybe an announcements section on the main menu people can check out. It’s just annoying having 8 things in a row in your face every time. I’m also annoyed because I was just on another person’s board and got an alert that someone on my board broke my piggy bank and took 5 mil coins. I didn’t even HAVE 5 million coins. I gained 5 mil AFTER leaving the board and AFTER the piggy bank alert, and lost whatever I gained before I even knew I was GETTING 5 mil. Do you see why this is kind of irritating? Like...I didn’t even have a chance to know I got something before it was gone. Sounds kinda sketch to me but whatever 🥴 I’ll just reearn it I guess but it doesn’t do much for you if some people already think you supposedly scam them out of stuff to literally scam someone out of coins before they even get them. Maybe don’t do that. Just a thought.

The game is great, it’s a lot of fun. It passes time while also being entertaining and graphically pleasing. I was enjoying the animations and the goals. I had gotten onto my second board, my real life competition was my husband who introduced me to the game. However today I was playing and I was in the middle of things so my phone had gone onto the lock screen. When I went to go back onto the game it said that it was having connection problems to try back later. I was at first unsure of how to get back to my board; luckily I had linked it with my Facebook. When I tried the last resort of deleting the app and reinstalling the app I was able to resign in with my Facebook to get back to my original account with my progress! I was happy to continue. I wish it had been a bit simpler, being that when the game loads there is a sign in option or tool bar some kind of settings menu that is provided as a default screen in the beginning at all times not just at the very first time when you start to play. That is my only negative remark, because well I always have odd things happen to my game accounts and that’s why I hardly play games. This is the first game I’ve played in nearly a year.

This game was really fun initially but all of the ways you can advance or win extra rolls becomes a pay money situation. They have challenges that you collect bottles that you use for “spins” in a challenge. The spins are how many spaces the character will advance trying to get to treasure chests. It literally takes hundreds of bottles to get to just the first chest. They also have albums that you collect stickers for and when you complete chapters you get bonus rolls and gems and then if you complete the album it’s a big bonus. The issue with that is in a pack of 4-7 stickers you will end up with 4 of the same sticker in every pack. I got one pack that had 5 of the same sticker and one other. If you purchase their deals of extra rolls and gems you have a better chance of advancing. Also it is ridiculous that you have to upgrade buildings on each board twice to get to the next board and the amount of coins it costs to upgrade buildings becomes outrageous! If they gave more rolls per hour (your rolls will replenish only 6 at a time so it’s literally you can play twice a day because 6 rolls is NOTHING!) and more ways to get gems and the bottles for their challenges it would be a really fun game. I had advanced to receiving 130 rolls a day and now have been knocked back down to 80 rolls again. I’ve spent a fortune with this game! After I leave this review I’m deleting the game because I can’t afford to pay $20 every few days to advance.

I’ve been playing this game for a while now and I’ve noticed a lot of bugs that seriously needs to be fixed. Just now during the summer event I’ve completed it but the rewards screen or rather the whole game froze because I’ve landed on a card pack, was trying to roll, and hit the final prize at the same time and because of this the game froze and the final prize is gone. I have lost progress occasionally and lost rewards too because of this and honestly it’s getting irritating. Another thing is the vending machine. Boxes either get stuck for no reason, or when you’re opening a box and you get a card pack for using vending machine while there’s multiple boxes that’s already bought, it just freezes and causes you to be unable to open those boxes you’ve already bought. Or when you travel to a friends board and if there’s more than 3 things going on at once the game freezes and you loose things. An example was actually recently I was suppose to get 2 power cards as my event reward but apparently the event bar froze for god knows why and when I reloaded my game, the event went to the next stage and when I checked my power cards it didn’t increase. This is still one of my favorite game but the fact that I sometimes have to reload the game several times in one session and looses rewards is seriously irritating and frankly bs. I’m not gonna ask for compensation just fix the game so this stop happening.

This game is really fun and I’ve been playing it for probably over 2 years but I will be undownloading it because I’m tired of paying. I’m on level 170 and the newest board and I can say for certain that this game has gotten greedy. In order to advance in the events, you need to buy rolls if you ever hope to get the final event rewards in the time frame that the event runs. And they keep track of what you pay for the bundles because the cost will keep going up. I ran a little experiment because it started wanting me to pay $30-50 for a bundle that used to cost maybe $5-10. So I stopped paying for awhile. After about 6 months of not paying and not playing, bundles started costing close to $10-15. Ridiculous that this company plays people like that. Also, after spending god knows how much to finish that Christmas album, the developers send some of us something to “reward” our hard work. I got stickers. STICKERS! Seriously??? I pay hundreds of dollars to finish that album on time for the final reward and I get stickers?? Also, carrots for events are harder to get. I used to be able to get carrots at least 10 times across my board. There’s only 3 carrot tiles on my board right now. Absolutely ridiculous. Like I said, fun game and obviously addicting, but be prepared to pay if you want to advance.

I love this game and have been playing for about a year and a half now but I have to say I was a little irritated with a glitch that happened to me recently- as in today. There are these really cute promos where you earn flags or carrots or flowers as it is this time. The game seems to have a problem though, as I had 98 flowers when I logged off yesterday but when I logged in today I had to restart because it erased all of my progress! Now I’m only at 96 but the promotion doesn’t end for another day and four hours. The sketchier part is you are supposed to be listed with people who start essentially at the same time as you; as you have to earn so many to get into a list to begin with; and then see who wins the biggest prize from there. However, now not only have I’ve been pooled with the same exact list of people (which if I had to restart I would have had to earn into a different group) but some of these dedicated players have four hundred or more flowers; which is awesome work on their part but not nearly fair to players such as myself who suffered from this glitch. I am confused as to why mine were taken away. These are something earned by visiting a friend, owning a building, landing on a cop car etc so it’s not like they can be stolen such as the steal space or bank when someone visits. Please fix this.

I’ve played this game off and on for a couple of years. It definitely feels like the algorithm is orchestrated to seduce you into paying money. Which, ok, I understand they want a profit (which I’m sure they have a lot of), but once you give in and buy one of their .99 cent offers, the same offer will get more and more expensive the following days. I probably wouldn’t mind buying it here and there otherwise. Also, recently it seems like the journey challenges, where you gather carrots or bottles to eventually reach a boss like figure, have gotten virtually impossible. Which is a bummer, because those were my favorites. Also, the game really focuses on collecting stickers (which I know sounds kind of silly) and if you collect all of them before that book ends you get a really nice prize, but again, that algorithm really kicks in to prevent you from winning without dishing out a ton of money, especially when you only have one or two cards left to find. I enjoy this game, but it also drives me kind of crazy and I feel scammed for spending money on this. Other games seem more honest, because the price doesn’t start to jump, which makes me want to support them and spend money here and there. Anyways, if you have a ton of time and a ton to spend, here’s a game for you.

The last two updates have left my game broken. Though I've leveled up 4 times during that time, I have repeatedly been returned to a board 5 boards behind where I should be, effectively leaving me unable to move forward in the game. When I tried to contact customer service with this issue to alert them to the fact that the bug had not been fixed, I received a response full of attitude. The rep basically implied that I should have been happy with the 100 dice they gave out to everyone as an apology for the bug and that the issue had been fixed already. Clearly it has not been because my game is still not working and I have noticed many other players who have complained about the exact same issue within the last few hours. I have no reason to lie and I resent the implication that I would, especially since I initially refrained from leaving a poor review so as to allow them the fair opportunity to fix the problem. This is extremely rude and disappointing. While I'm here I will also point out that using slanted eyes to represent Asian bunnies is very offensive. It has been bothering me ever since the Chinese board was introduced but I have held my tongue because I previously respected the game developer and trusted that they did not intend offense. After the disrespectful exchange with their customer service, I have concluded that they simply do not care about their users' experience.

The update seemed pretty cool at first because now I have 80 rolls instead of 50 each time I play and the regeneration speed is a little faster now. However, the game is still made almost impossible because I have to spend 7 million coins to update certain landmarks and buildings. Which honestly is ridiculous. I didn’t complain at first because originally I only had to update one board twice but so far I have updated my board 2 times already and it sent me back to the same board yet a third time. This is game is stating to longer be fun. When the update happened I thought it would be great at first but the update had no real difference if the roles go up and the prices skyrocket too you might as well have left it at 50 rolls with the same prices. It shouldn’t be easy but it also shouldn’t be impossible. The fact that there is no cap on how much money someone can steal from you also makes it extremely hard to update anything then you play the waiting game so you can get more rolls when you run out and try to save your coins but when you come back all of them are gone. Being about to steal 6 Million coins from someone is crazy to me...honestly. Idk when I get enough coins to upgrade to a new board then maybe I’ll update my response on how many times I need to upgrade one single board but so far, like I mentioned before, I am on my third upgrade for the board I am currently on.

It’s impossible to get anywhere in this game without spending money, you will quickly get bored and/or lose interest because you can’t move up with the small amount of rolls they give and the fact that it takes almost a full day to earn more. Other than that, I haven’t had a lot of issues with the game itself except for occasional slowness and crashing when there is a special event happening which I attribute to server load balancing/performance issues. The biggest problem I’ve had involves dealing with their support team when something goes wrong with in-app purchases. I’ve been double-charged or didn’t receive what I paid for a few times and each time I have to argue with their support team despite having sent receipts to prove I was either double charged or didn’t get what I paid for, the most recent time being a double charge that they responded back claiming it was legitimate without actually reading what I explained or the attached screenshots. (Based on the mention of incorrect dates that weren’t in the screenshot.) It’s very frustrating. When they finally do acknowledge the mistake they still don’t send you what you paid for, but what they consider to be the equivalent in Gems, which can be annoying if you purchased based on a special that was related to an event and were supposed to get other extras.

UPDATE: as you can see the developer responded asking for more feedback. When I responded back through email asking what they wanted to know I never received a response. I once loved this game and would love to play again but not until they make major improvements. And it seems the sleepovers want to look like they’re trying by not actually do anything. So if you see them respond don’t be fooled thinking they give a crap about our feedback When I first started playing I loved the game it was really fun. I even liked the introduction of new boards. But they made several fatal mistakes and I’m finally done with the crappy game. They changed the prices of stuff in the store so you pay more and get less and they added mini games that started out fair but only get more impossible to win anything from, hey do constant contests but unless your outing money into the game it’s impossible to win. This game has become such a greedy cash grab. And they don’t give players anything worth while in return. Don’t waste your time. They also don’t scale things properly. They said with the new boards we would never lose tiles. I’d visit boards at a Mac lower level than I that had significantly more tiles. That hardly seems fair. The game I once loved I now hate. They only give you 4 rolls an hour and your expected to save millions for upgrades so that it takes weeks instead of leveling up every few days. Throw the whole game away
