One of the best mobile games out there

See, I don’t have a VR headset, ergo I don’t have beatsaber. I was scrolling though the app store to find a similar game like beatsaber. And well, I found it. This game is fantastic, like really, the swiping is super responsive, the song library is decent, and in general the game is put together. Some negative reviews say that there is too many ads. Um hello? No there isn’t, even though yes there are some, all I get are 5-10 second long ads. Plus, most of them you can skip. I don’t understand why people complain about this. I have a couple things I’d like to request. It would be AWESOME if we could use songs we had bought on ITunes, so then we could play some songs that we really liked and were familiar with. I’d also think it would be cool if in say a later update when you add more songs. Instead of scrolling really far to find the song you want, you could pick from a certain music genre so it would be quick and easy. Last thing I wanna talk about, it would be pretty neat to have a shop. Every day you play a level, and log in to get coins. Then in the shop you could spend them on powerups like, slowing down the song, or points multiplier. Heck you could even get songs or cube colors. I think these things would be super cool and can add just that little taste of awesomeness. Overall though i love this game and think it’s cool!

    Mobile Beat Saber! But...

This game is obviously supposed to be like the VR Game “Beat Saber.” This game feels like it is the mobile version of it. I 100% recommend it! It is awesome and, for me, feels like the most accurate game to Beat Saber you can get on this App Store so far. It’s awesome, but there are a few things I have to say. First of all, this game needs more songs. It has a few songs but really it needs more. It would be so awesome if they had added more songs. The songs there currently are alright, but it would be great to see new and trending songs there, because that would make more people want to play. Another thing is the ads. Of course, I understand that they have adds, but after every song you complete, an ad plays. It just gets annoying and is the only problem. You CAN buy the $5 No Ads, which I will end up buying hopefully if I have money | :( | But I think without buying it the ads come up a little too often. Maybe every time you die or every 3 songs you play an ad will pop up, because that sounds more reasonable. But besides that, I find nothing bad about this game. (I really hope they add more songs because it would make this game so much better, it needs more songs!) I love this game and I do recommend it. This is the most accurate game you can get if You want a Mobile Beat Saber!

Decent game to play when you’ve got time to kill

Cant really complain about anything, other than the amount of ads, (though this can be bypassed by an $5 fee). Song library is a bit small but there are enough to keep you busy for a while. Campaign is much more challenging than the base songs. It does this by adding modifiers (which are added to the hardest difficulty being expert plus). Things like a faster tempo and disappearing blocks make each song more and more difficult as you progress. The tactile feedback in the vibration of your phone is very nice. Additionally the response time and hit detection is on point. Overall great game. Hopefully they’ll add a higher diversity of genres such as rock or classical. Edit: Looking at the leaderboards is frustrating. I see people with scores that are actually impossible. For example; the imagine dragons song “Believer” has an absolute maximum score of 30,060, this is assuming the person played it on Expert+ (2x bonus) and got a perfect hit every time, this in turn would give them 60 points per block multiplying this by the 501 blocks in the song we get the 30,060. However, there are hundreds(literally) of people with a score higher than this. So I ask the developers how is this possible?

Great game, but a lot of ads and very little amount of songs.

This is a great game judging bye that fact it is on mobile and iOS, but there are some major problems, the problems in the title and a bit more. Otherwise, here they are. So first off, ads. There are way to many of them. I get that you want money but whenever a song/level ends, you get an ad. Same when you die, so maybe every two or three times you die or every 1-3 times you exit a song, an ad could pop up. Next the very little levels part... Well that could easily be solved, but just two song recommendations, megalovainia and never gonna give you up. I would love to see those songs in the game and next thing. A major glitch. With every single cube in every single level, you don’t have to swipe, but you can just tap them and no matter what they go. This bug really needs to be fixed, me and my brother just tap the blocks all the time, and it is more overpowered then you would think. This app needs that bug fixed, more songs, and less ads. I hope this game helps with the development of this game and that you guys get a different way to get a lot of money bc those ads :/ Otherwise, I really enjoy this game, I’m addicted. Good luck! But srs I need megalovainia.

The greatest music game on iPhone

Hello. This is me. Me say hi. I don’t usually write reviews often unless it’s amazing, And this is one of them. I truly believe that this may be one of the best music games here. I don’t have a VR headset, so I looked at some music games. I found this, and it was great. Sure, it has ads, and it has V.I.P stuff, but even all that won’t change my opinion on it. And while I wait for Meglovania to come out on this, I might as well say to play this game. I don’t care what your doing, if your at a meeting or in a parking spot. This is just a great game, and a easy review of 5 stars. It has difficulty, a wide variety of music choices, seasonal events (which means more music), and a leaderboard as well. I was on the #1 spot once, but everybody’s active whenever I’m active, so it’s kinda a race. Once again, I’ll tell you to get this game. After all, it is free. This is also no longer asking, this is a threat. Just get the game. That’s all I have to say.

Very good game but has some issues

I love this game, I've been practicing it for quite a while and today i managed to full combo Godzilla (in my opinion hardest song) on expert+ and i got 1st place on the leaderboard, im very proud of myself but theres some bugs that happen to me quite often. First of all, sometimes my hits dont register. I clearly hit the note but my swipe goes through it and it ends up as a miss. Secondly, my device is perfectly fine and good but i still experience lag problems even tho i put the game on the lowest quality. And finally, theres a weird glitch where if u pause the song at the start and resume in about 3-5 seconds, the notes will appear from super far away or will appear a bit late and it ends up being very weird. Please fix these bugs, they're pretty annoying and frustrating to experience. Thank you!

Hands on your body is sort of broken

I think this game is really great! I love the idea of beat saber on mobile! But there is some problems. Problem #1, whenever I play Hands on Your Body and I swipe, it doesn’t break the box. Some of the boxes on the left are blue so I use the blue saber but it doesn’t work, even before the perfect zone. Please fix this. Problem #2, there isn’t many songs on there. I’m pretty good so I already beat most of them. But then I realized there wasn’t many more. Please add more songs like Truth Hurts, Old Town Road, or Cradles. Problem #3, a little too much adds. Most of the time after I win or die I get and add. I would say maybe after 2 or 3 deaths there could be and add or after 2 or 3 wins. Even though these bother me, the game is great! I hope you have a good day and you fix these. Thank you!

Beat Saber as a mobile game

I can’t even start anywhere. I just downloaded this app and only played it for 5 minutes: I’m already hooked. It’s just like Beat Saber, but combines the physics of that Ball Game. It’s incredible! When I would play VR Beat Saber, I was thinking of why J couldn’t use my controller to control the sabers? I saw Beat Blader, but I thought that it wasn’t the same. So, I dig deeper, and found this game. It’s like Beat Saber and Fruit Ninja has a baby, and this Godly game was born. Sure it may not have some of my favorite songs: POPSTARS by K/DA, but it still has one of my favorite songs: Unity. So, any advice? Maybe add some new songs, make actual sabers for the fingers, and that’s pretty much it. I have nothing to hate about this game, and I hope for its best in the future updates.

Coming from a beat saber enthusiast

I play a lot of real beat saber and I normally don’t like supporting ripoffs or clones but the way this one was executed interested me enough to give it a shot. I am impressed with this but I probably won’t continue playing. If you want beat saber but have no headset then this is probably the best clone I’ve seen. The game can definitely be improved with things more songs, (maybe even custom songs) and custom colors as just an extra feature for those who want it. Your fingers get in the way of each other if your playing on a phone screen which is what I found to be the main point of difficulty. Every other aspect of this game is easy. If I took a brand new player they could probably pass an expert plus with a few attempts. PS : If you wanna get into VR I highly recommend the oculus quest as a starting point. It requires no pc and is relatively cheap as far as VR headsets go. Games on the quest are very limited so research the games catalog before you make a decision. If you can wait, then I would see what VR headsets come out this Christmas as they will either be better or cheaper.

    Great iOS Beat Saber

I love Beat Saber, however I also love this game, it’s a really well put together game and it’s also really convenient and I have found myself playing this game more. It’s a very well put together game with a pretty good song library. It looks nice and the swipes and touch functions are seamless. This is a very well made app and I enjoy playing a lot, I have some potential ideas to elevate the gameplay experience. Maybe you could add different achievements such as get three stars on ten songs in expert+ you could also make another difficulty level called insane or something where there are black cubes you can’t hit or something. My one last idea is to make more things customizable. For example there could be a special shop page where you can buy things like cube colors and different themed backgrounds. This way you can keep people playing longer by giving something to keep playing the game for. Like I said this is a great game that I enjoy playing. These are my personally thoughts and I hope that you take some of my suggestions into consideration.

A blatant rip-off of beat saber. And that’s why it’s good

This is coming from someone who’s played beat saber. If you don’t have a VR headset this is a great choice! But if you do have a VR headset you’re doing yourself a disservice by playing this instead of beat saber, and while this is free and beat saber is $30, beat saber is a thousand times better. The ads are very excessive on this game. When you die, you can revive yourself by watching an ad, but if you don’t, it shows you an ad anyways. But you can just turn off your WiFi and data, so you have no connection to the internet, then launch the game, start a song, then you can turn your connection back on and it will act like you’re offline (no ads) but you’ll still get all of your notifications and stuff that requires a connection. Overall, it’s a good substitute for beat saber, and I’d recommend it

    Kinda disappointed ☹️

I downloaded this app hoping for a huge variety of songs and having less ads but.... I guess I was wrong.... every time you complete a song you will get an ad which by the way is not helping me with getting a good review on this game. I like how you actually read reviews and write on them but that is the basic only thing that I’m really proud of this game for. As a rhythm gamer with two years of experience this game doesn’t allow you to see blocks before they happen for example: the blocks have no see-through so you were expected to know exactly what direction to swipe your thumbs at, if you were to fix this issue I would try to make them see-through so if it’s a different block you’ll be able to see which way to swipe and yes I am familiar with recognizing a pattern in a rhythm game but this is kind of ridiculous. There are not many songs at all, literally there are only a couple of songs to choose from and none of them are very difficult either with only 7 minutes of playing I was able to do expert mode without having any real difficulty whatsoever which I wouldn’t be expected expert+ would be much of a difficulty either from my experience. Whoever other than that I really like this game! The game does have things wrong with it but other than that there’s not much other than that I hope you read this review and think about getting suggestions!

    ADS ADS EVERYWHERE

The game is not bad itself, but with the shortness of each song it makes it seem that the game is just ads and barely any gameplay. I understand that this is your only way of making money, but I would like to see less of them. Even if you’re not able to do this, at least make the ads skippable or shorter. Sometimes when I start a song, I’m hit with another 1 minute ad. If you wanted to have no ads you would have to pay a 5 dollar fee. Also, when there is a series of blocks coming at once the animation for the previous block is covering the next one causing me to miss several points. Another thing is the variety of songs, if you could make it so that we were able to download our own songs I think it would make the game more interesting. Please take this review into account before downloading this game and see if you still would like to get it. It is fun, but be prepared to see an ad after everything you do.

    Trash App

This game has a ridiculous number of ads. I get that companies have to make money, and since this game is free, it makes money through ads. I would be fine with that, but it shoves an ad down your throat every single time you do something. You finish a level, ad. You exit the level, ad. You start a level, ad. You open up a new level, ad. Sometimes it opens an ad when I start the level, causing me to fail. The worst part is YOU HAVE TO WATCH EVERY SECOND OF THESE WRETCHED ADS. Also, this is a low-effort ripoff of Beat Saber. It is very obvious, as the graphics are the exact same. The name is also very, very similar to Beat Saber. Third, it has the exact same game mechanics. Actually, this is not just a similar game to Beat Saber, it is Beat Saber, just copied to mobile. It may be hard to come up with an original idea, but please, do not copy another’s work. Finally, this game only works half the time. The other times I get stuck on a black screen and have to restart the app. This app also has a very limited selection of songs to choose from, a lot of which few people have heard of.
