What is Elastos Coin?[ ]

Elastos aims to create a new Internet where digital goods are easily identifiable, tradeable, and scarce. In their own words “property rights pave the way for wealth creation.” Users can access their digital content directly without going through an intermediary, as it will be registered in Ethereum’s blockchain, and content creators will know how many times their content was accessed.

History[ ]

Elastos was launched in early February. The decentralized, open-source version of the Elastos Carrier has been recently published, and the development and verification of the Elastos ID service sidechain was completed. Since ELA is a very recent asset, it’s not yet possible to see its market cap.

Technology[ ]

Elastos wants to create the Internet Of Wealth by using blockchain to issue IDs for digital content, making it possible to know who owns the digital assets. This allows the user to access articles, movies, games, etc, without going through an intermediary or media player.

Projects Elastos will hold a global applications meetup and tour, and will also establish Elastos Capital, which aims to support Elastos application ecology projects. They soon will be creating main and side chains to form a trustless way of storing information without the usual security points of failure in the Ethereum network related to smart contracts.
